Timbo #1... 2007-04-19 20:41:00 Just Thought It Was Time For A Bit Of Recognition.Timbaland's first single from Shock Value, "Give It To Me", is the Uk's number 1 single.It will most likely be knocked off the top spot next week by the Beautiful Liars; Beyonce & Shakira.Timbaland's reported future projects include work with: The return of Missy Elliott, Bobby Valentino, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Coldplay, British rock band Muse & strangely enough Duran Duran, among others. The documentary, entitled "Last Days of Left Eye" will be shown on MTV's VH1 music channel. According to MTV Left Eye was documenting the last month of her life, maybe for a tv show, I'm not 100% sure. Lisa Lopes passed away 5 years ago, almost to the day (25th April 2005), in a tragic car accident, her parents are still in an ongoing legal case over it.Left Eye was a very talented female MC, whom there are not enough of around at the moment, her work will live on for some time to come, hopefully this documentary will be a tribute to her, rather than a cash in.R.I.P Read more:Documentary

Personally, I would back Jamelia all the way, this girl can do no wrong, she doesn't seem to have a nasty bone in her body, "Walk With Me" was an adequate alum, some nice production & good vocals.Jamelia has been with EMI since she was 16, she was always talking about the EMI A&R team & I think she will miss the familiarity of it all, a new album is rumoured to be in the works, but I don't know which label she will move to.

But now I think I may have to eat my words, as her performance of "Glamorous" was not bad, her voice, which isn't great, has improved & now has a richer feel to it.I always maintained she had no voice to her & was just with the BEPs because they needed someone to look pretty. If you have had your head in the sand for the past week or so, then you may have missed the fact that Akon has been involved in some controversy with a 14 or 15 (I'm not quite sure) year old girl.The girl was apparently invited on stage by the Hip-Hop star when the incident occurred, but she got a little more than she bargained for, as you can see. & Nas Have An Upcoming Reality Show Coming Up.Here is a short clip of the show, it's not much, but it gives the feeling that the show will focus more on the life of Kelis. Many people have pointed out that MTV shows bring bad luck for celeb couples, i.e. Nick & Jessica (The Newlyweds), but I don't think that will be the case with Kelis & Nas.I can't wait for the show to air in the UK, there is a truth that people don't seem to see about Kelis. I think she is one of the best female recording artists in the WORLD, her talent as a producer is unique, plus her raspy vocals are a fantastic, she is most definately one of my favourite artists at the moment.
