OkLet’s say you are older than 50, suddenly have a pain in you belly, now visiting ER. After talk with the Doc you learn that you have diverticulitis. What is this disease? This is a complication of diverticular disease. -itis means inflammation, and diverticula means diverticula. What is diverticulum?
