Drew is in vogue 2008-03-07 08:45:00 Drew Barrymore is the face of March 2008's Vogue issue. I think she really looks different here -- and I don't like it that much. Her face looks altered and old. She also has an interview where she talks about her new boyfriend, her work and other things.Check out some of the shots that are featured in this month's issue, that is, if you don't have it yet. Give fall the boot! 2008-03-06 11:41:00 Knee-length boots are part of the wave of new trend that will take over the fashion scene this coming fall. A lot of designers included these boots in their collection, and though some of them look alike... It's still a nice addition to your shoe collection. That is, if you still don't own one. If you do, next season's the time to bring them out! (L-R: anna sui, alexander mcqueen, akris, 3.1 phillip lim, balenciaga, carolina herrera, chado ralph rucci, christian lacroix, dolce & gabbana, fendi, givenchy, jean paul gaultier, gucci, hermes, louis vuitton, marc jacobs, narciso rodriguez, prada, stella mccartney, viktor & rolf, tuleh)

Designer clothes don't spell "Pretty" all the time 2008-03-05 11:05:00 That holds true if you've been carefully watching fashion shows. For this fall, NY Mag lists down 100 of the worst looks on the runway. I only listed the top 20 worst looks since 100 is too much to post.Anyway, fashion, I believe, is subjective. So if you think that one of these outfits isn't worthy of being called hideous... Well, then it isn't, based on your opinion :) Click the link above to see the rest of the list. Read more: Designer

Smoking just became fashionable? 2008-03-05 10:18:00 Check out this Louis Vuitton Purse Lighter. It's a miniature purse replica that you can use as a lighter when you make it stand on its side.I think it's really ugly. At the same time, it would be pretty cool to use one of these...just for the sake of having something this ugly. So that makes this LV purse lighter ugly-cool.The Louis Vuitton Purse Lighter retails for $7.99 in Amazon. Read more: Smoking
For the male fashionista 2008-03-05 09:12:00 ...or at the very least, to the females who want to make their partners look fashionable! These are part of Raf Simons' fall 2008 RTW. The colors are great, but IMO, I think they're a tad girly - the styles, I mean. I guess some men wouldn't mind being dressed in these, but personally, I wouldn't want my guy to wear anything that comes close to these styles!
Color-full Fall! 2008-03-04 11:51:00 Benjamin Cho's fall 2008 RTW collection is another one of those lines of clothes that will make next season a lot more colorful. The clothes aren't all colorful as there are a few black ones there but the clothes that do have color... they really are colorful. I like most of his designs, especially the one in the sixth picture. Read more: Color
Chanel Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear Accessories 2008-03-04 09:35:00 Here are some of the shoes and bags showcased during the recent Chanel
Fall 2008 RTW fashion show. Was anyone able to see how the fashion show looked like? I really loved the design concept for the show -- with all the gigantic Chanel accessories and all!Anyway, opinions on the two-toned Chanel shoes, anyone? Panettiere's Dooney & Bourke line which is aptly called The Hayden Line. Any thoughts on the bag? On the ads themselves?
Classy costumes for Halloween? 2008-03-03 12:02:00 Halloween is still a very long way to go, but some designers probably thought it best to provide choices for all those parties that you'll be attending during those months. John Galliano presents his fall 2008 RTW line which, IMO, definitely suits Halloween. I mean, I wouldn't really be caught dead wearing this casually for a day at the mall, right?...Or would you? Want to be a trendsetter this fall? 2008-02-29 09:56:00 I recently posted the fall '08 trends for New York city which is probably applicable to New Yorkers alone. Buuuut...to the people outside NYC, Apparelnews posted a trend forecast for Fall 2008. These trends were determined in recent shows including the Project Global Trade Show, Action Sports Retailer Trade Expo and the MAGIC Marketplace. You'll probably recognize some of the trends you'll see in this entry (if you read the NY fall trends entry) so don't worry or fuss about it okay? Lol. So yeah, here are the Fall 2008 trends - which all are wittingly named again!1. Bomb Squad - jackets are in this season: motorcycle and bomber styles are hot!2. Too bad it costs a whole lot; I would love to get all of them :) Read more: Color
Darker Shades of Fall 2008-02-29 08:18:00 Despite the numerous bursts of bright colors for this coming fall, Stella McCartney's 2008 RTW collection seem to focus on darker and more earthly tones as her clothes and accessories range from the colors gray, brown and black. The single blue dress looks lost amidst a sea of the colors I just mentioned, but it's cute. I like that lone blue dress. Here are some of the accessories that goes with the collection. Personally, I think the shoes are hard to walk on! Read more: Darker

Really bold. 2008-02-28 10:21:00 Both of these are from Viktor & Rolf's fall 2008 collections. I find it intriguing because I can't really imagine how they were able to make those words stand out, when they seem to be made of the same material as the coats themselves. Anyone wants to try and guess?
Christian Lacroix Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear 2008-02-28 08:56:00 Here's Christian
Lacroix' Fall 2008 RTW collection. I like the pink, black and cream combination of the second dress but then again, the colors combination that he used for some of the dresses are lovely. Although I really do not fancy that huge fur hood (5th picture) and fur outerwear -- if they are fur.

Fun, fun Dame Viv! 2008-02-26 09:40:00 I recently featured some of the clothes for Vivienne Westwood's Red Label - which are totally cool, IMO. For her own line, Dame Viv's designs all look fun and colorful, they all look very nice to wear. You'd probably earn more than a handful of glances if you walk around wearing one of her clothes. Honestly, majority of Vivienne Westwood's fall '08 collection doesn't really look fall-ish to me. Well, a lot of the designs for fall '08 look more like spring fashion. But I guess that's the trend for the coming season. Here are some of the clothes that caught my eye: Of course, the dark and elegant clothes shouldn't be missed: And here's Vivienne Westwood herself!
Christian Dior Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear Bags 2008-02-26 08:07:00 Here's the fall bags for Christian
Dior's RTW line. The brightly colored bags are more suited for spring, IMO, but then again, they give more life to fall. I like the little keyring that's D-shaped. It makes the bags look a bit on the elegant side. Read more: Christian Dior
Oscars Fashion Trends 2008-02-25 11:21:00 If you watched the recent 80th Academy Awards, you would've noticed that black and red are definitely the most outstanding colors among the guests. A sea of both colors is easily visible starting from the red carpet. Excluding the male stars, black was one of the prominent gown colors that night: And now, for the ladies in red: Who do you think pulled the black and red gown the best? Who flopped it? LV's Cassis and Grenade 2008-03-12 13:06:00 Louis Vuitton's Epi Collection features two new colors: Cassis and Grenade
.Aren't they both pretty? I really don't like LV's patent leather design. It's so dull and IMO, ugly. The Cassis and Grenade colors make me want to go and buy myself one of these bags and clutches though. Even the belt, wallet and scarf are all so pretty too!Thoughts on LV's Epi Collection's new colors?
