Memory Lane 2008-03-05 10:32:51 Each time I bring Cookie to visit with her Great Grandparents it is like entering a time warp. There is not a wall or photo album that doesn't contain at least one piece of my past. It is a house filled with 29 years (and counting) worth of memories that I can one day share with Cookie.During each visit Grandma and I always get so much pleasure looking back at old photos. This week I spent some time on one particular photo that has been sitting on the same bookshelf for over 10 years now. Each visit I always glance at it and remember the event as if it were yesterday. When Cookie first arrived we thought the Camry would still be the most practical car, that is until we put the stroller in and had zip zilch zero room left to haul the other necessities such as groceries, impulse shopping trips to the mall and of course the one million extra things you need when getting away for the weekend with a newborn. Other than that it was a fabulous car, and I just loved it! Thanks to the use of www.Craigslist.org I sold our car in less than a month and got top dollar for it. What A Cute Little Frog 2008-02-03 14:21:38 We had a fabulous time on our mini getaway. Despite the traffic jam on I-10 the rest of the trip was a blast. Aunt Jamie was a great host and we had a wonderful time visiting with my grandparents. Gift Giving Idea for Valentine's Day 2008-01-24 12:06:55 Each morning the Hubby and I are so blessed with the good fortune of seeing our little Cookie happy and in good health. Unfortunately that is not the case for some parent who have to deal with their child being effected by diseases that we can barely pronounce and much less spell. This gift giving idea is for the children who put on a brave smiling face as they walk through the halls of St. Jude. The hubby and I have been a contributor of St. Jude for three years now and each month we receive a precious envelope in the mail that holds the picture of one of these children. When Motrin Just Isn't Enough and Baby Einstein Is On Auto Replay 2008-03-10 13:28:48 Last night the Hubby and I got to visit our local ER with Cookie in Tow at the nice hour of 10:00 PM. Over the last 48 hours we have learned a lot about our patience levels and most importantly that we can do this thing they call Parenthood. Well, first and foremost our little Cookie has been doing so much better since our exciting trip to the ER. The next day started out with around the clock temperature checking...By the afternoon Baby Einstein Mozart had inspired our Little Cookie to play a tune for her Mama...Her masterpiece is still in the works, but believe me there is some real talent there.
