Milk and Menu Plans 2008-04-07 08:38:07 Food is my favourite topic !My Menu plan Monday last week went well . We stuck to the menu 4/7 days.One night (supposed to be pizza) we ate bits and pieces (sausage sandwiches/or on a roll) and leftovers (me) another we swapped chicken and vegetable sticks for steak. Sunday night - we had HJ because we had to drive someone home and the family dinner was cancelled too. Now, I had to think about what will we eat this week. I did browse a few recipes from my recipe blog but they might be my lunch and I won't post desserts because that's not fair.I let my other blog slide because I ran out of recipes ...feel free to send me your favourites I would love to revive my blog one day.Some good news my non-eater, S is eating a little more but not a vegetable has made it past his lips - he hands it
Thursday Thirteen 2008-04-09 22:08:37 I have to finish our business and personal 2007 Tax returns amongst other things ... washing , folding and dusting.I've have all the receipts/ dockets /deductions and now.My least favourite part is to collate it for the accountant.It is munchies time the scrunchy, crunch time when my procrastination skills are really put to the test.These are the things I would rather be doing do when I should be completing our tax return while the Brothers are sleeping Make a cup of teaCheck my hotmail and other emails. Challenges .... 52 blessings grateful Fridays, 2008-04-19 08:27:23 No,this is not about the challenges I am facing.During the last two weeks when I have had a few spare minutes I have been challenged by this - money ! or rather spending it NOT. I am grateful for all that I have ... money to spend (well not as much as I like or need but enough) . Well it has passed me by in the blink of an eye or so it seems.We got to spend 5 days on Grandpa's (Brothers') Farm in Central Western NSW about 4 hours away.Then it was home to the washing, rain, cleaning, and paperwork ... ah Blogging too. I missed y'all.Today would have been my dear Dad's 66th Birthday... though he passed away 3.5 yrs ago (way to too young) and before my little boys got to meet him. I say it will be $14.50They return home with 3 pizzas and I quiz them.He insists "they said you ordered 3" - I say I didn't .I open the boxes to dig in quick and only one of the 3 pizzas is what I ordered.I quiz them more ... Dh said he asked did they have another order for xxxxxx (insert our surname) because he thought I said 2 too. They said no we only have one order for xxxxxx. The reality of toddlers getting taller and smarter ... 2008-05-02 02:14:31 Teamwork ...The Brothers have passed their furniture removal course with distinction ... and the locksmith course . They can escape. The above photos were taken yesterday.On Daddy's to do list is to find the key ... we haven't had one for this door since we moved in 3.5 yrs ago or put a new bolt .This morning at 8am they got out while I was making breakfast (still in my single top because DH went to work early before I got up).I couldn't chase them as we have workmen ( sadly - no eye candy or hot hunks) metres from the fence. They are looking down on us too so they can see everything.I ran to get my jacket and chase fetch them (the Brothers not the men).Problem is I am getting slower and they run different directions - chasing one 13kg toddler with another under your arm is no fun.
