browser more speed. And there ain't nothing wrong with that now is there. ;)The first thing you have to do is open up the Firefox browser. Now, in the address bar, type about:config, and press enter. This will open a long list of browser preferences...don't worry the list is in alphabetical order!Scroll down until you come to network.http.pipelining, and set it to "true" by double clicking on it. Next, find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set this to "30" by double clicking on it and entering the value.We're almost done now I promise. Hack Your iTrip 1970-01-01 00:59:59 If you have an iTrip for your iPod, but aren't really impressed with the reception and range, this next hack is for you!This handy little hack was featured on ChrisGunton.com. He gives step by step instructions and pictures which helps when actually doing the hack.The hack involves opening up the iTrip and cutting a small notch in the casing. The notch should be just big enough for the internal antenna to fit through. This is a handy hack for xbox gamers, who are used to the feel and response of their xbox controller, and want to transfer that to their PC gaming. NES Mini System Hack 1970-01-01 00:59:59 If you are a long time reader of The Daily Hack...you may have guessed that I have a soft spot in my heart for NES hacks. And this hack from G-force has to be the best one to date!So what did he do? G-force bought a famicom clone SuperJoy 3 with 76 built in pirated NES games, and decided he would remove the hardware and install it all in an original NES controller casing. Sweet!But, wait, he didn't stop there! G-force went on to add a game connector to the back of the NES controller. So, if he every gets sick of playing those 76 built in games he simply has to flip a small switch he installed and plug in a game cartridge! There's also a second player connector attached, that is fully functional with another NES came pad or the zapper gun!! How cool is that!As if that wasn't enough, G-force also gave the controller a new paint job and backlit the Nintendo logo. I hate it when I sign up for one or two things on the internet that require an email address and the next day my inbox is stuffed with spam! The hack is as follows:When you give your email address to a website, you hope that they don't sell or trade your address to a bunch of spammers. Well if they do, here is a simple way to see what sites are responsible for what particular piece of email. This requires you have a Gmail
account.If your Gmail login name was username@gmail.com and you went to samplesite.com to fill out a registration form, instead of just entering username@gmail.com as your email, enter it as username+samplesitecom@gmail.com instead. Rob Nelson, from the Ars Technica site, did an excellent write-up on how to get rid of those annoying read disc errors.The tools needed for this job are 2 phillips (1 normal, 1 small) screwdrivers, 1 flathead screwdriver, a pair of plyers (maybe) and 1 can of compressed air. Rob takes us through the disassembly and cleaning of the PS2 unit. He also explains the best way to adjust the PS2 lens position. This one involves making an invisible book shelf!Dorxincandeland shows us how to make the invisble book shelf from an old book you don't read anymore, an L-shaped bracket, some wood screws and some glue. Alcohol Still Hack 1970-01-01 00:59:59 This is a great hack for all my party friends out there!TimAnderson decided he would make his very own alcohol still. So, how did he do it? He took an old rice cooker and added a bit of piping where the steam vent used to be. Then he took a garbage bag and attached it to the piping as a condeser. And presto-bango he had himself a still!TimAnderson also shows how he made a fermentation jug for making homebrew. Again, his design is very simple. Car Minifridge Hack 1970-01-01 00:59:59 This interesting little hack was featured on the Antiyawn.com site. The hack involves building a minifridge into the armrest of a car!For this particular hack, Mike (author), used a '98 Toyotal Corolla's armrest to house the minifridge. So how did he do it? Well, he bought a peltier cooler from eBay for about $15 and used two old heatsinks (1 hot, 1 cold) for the actual fridge components. He also used insulation tape he purchased from Home Depot to insulate the inside of the armrest.When he had all his components, Mike began working at the armrest. He took out the armrest's carpeting and cup holder and mounted the hot heatsink in the hole where the cup holder used to be. He then cut a slot into the inside of the armrest with a soldering iron to house the cold heatsink. Finally, he insulated the insides and wired it all up!To check out this awesome hack click here!

It involves taking the guts of a bluetooth headset and putting it into an old Apple ABD-mouse.The results? A bluetooth iNoPhone! PC Remote Hack 1970-01-01 00:59:59 This great little hack was featured on the Instructables site. It involves making a remote control reciever that fits into a 9-pin connector on the back of your computer.Zujus wanted to be able to control all of his PC's functions via remote control. So, he went ahead and created his own remote control chip for about $20!How did he do it? Well, he simply took a 9-pin (RS232) connector and an IR-reciever (TSOP1738) and attached them with a resistor, capacitor and diode. With this really easy and 100% free "hack" you can set Skype to call you. You can use this to call anyone at any scheduled time...So how do you do it? Well, you set up a new scheduled task on your computer using the Scheduled Task Wizard. This sets up your computer to make your Skype account call you whenever you want to wake up. AAA PSP Battery Hack 1970-01-01 00:59:59 You know what's annoying? It really pisses me off when I'm sitting on an airplane or bus playing my favorite PSP game and the damn battery dies! Well, with this next hack you'll never have to worry about that again!-Neubit- from the acidmods forums gives a good explanation on how to use three regular "AAA" batteries to power your PSP. So what did he do? As -Neubit- puts it:The PSP battery was opened up and the original battery was taken out, two wires were soldered to the +/- points on the battery circuit board. No resistors were used. The 3 AAA batteries were fitted inside the battery case and connected to the previously soldered wires. Simple enough?In fact, the hack is really simple! Essentially, they take an electronic key ignitionand hook it up to their computer!So, how did they do it? Well, they opened up their computer and located the power switch. They then disconnected the wires and hooked it up to the electronic key switch and mounted the switch to the computer's case. So simple!So now, instead of pushing the power button, you just turn the key to power up your PC. Although this hack was originally posted on the Water Only Dries site over a year ago, the information is still relevant. And a great resource for all you RAZR fans out there.So what does this hack involve? Well, it involves taking songs out of iTunes
and transfering it to your RAZR via bluetooth. Then setting the songs as the RAZR's ringtones. Of course you have to shorten the length of the songs and lower the bitrate of each song. It involves modifying the antenna of a bluetooth USB dongle to increase the range of your bluetooth devices. According to the author his bluetooth thumbdrive now gets "crazy range, my phone now connects to the pc throughout the whole house... Even if you got 3-4 concrete walls between the 2 devices!"How did they do it you say? Well, the hack is pretty simple.
