She was professional astrologer and writer. I have been exploring this idea and have been researching how one becomes a "professional" astrologer. It's not you can enroll in your local college and get a two or four year degree in astrology. There are astrologers out there who will hold classes or do correspondence classes to teach you to do astrology. There are organizations that you can join who will test you and give you accreditation.I understand the need/want of these types of organizations. I think it's because some consider tarot a form of fortune telling. I have never considered myself a fortune teller. Mercury Retrograde 1970-01-01 00:59:59 My husband recently went on a job interview that didn't go as planned. It got me to thinking about the job interview that got us where we are today. It didn't go as planed either. Two days after our fifth child daughter was born he was to catch a plane from Ohio to New Jersey to interview for a job in satellite communications. He took his interview clothes with him where he wouldn't have to wear them on the plane and have something happen to them. They were folded nicely in his duffel bag with his dress shoes. The idea was to change in the airport bathroom before picking up the rental car that was supposed to be waiting on him. A Look Ahead to 2008 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Early last year I was going through my astrology books looking for something, I don't remember what, and it really doesn't matter. I am used to opening my books and having pieces of paper fall out. I am forever sticking notes that I have made or astrological charts in books where I don't loose them. It makes sense to me, to fold a piece of paper in half and stick it in a related book where I can find it easily. Not the best organizational process, but it is one that works for me since I am always misplacing things. This particular piece of paper that fell out at me was a chart erected for September 11, 2001 at 8:46am. Recognize the time? It was the time of impact when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. cycle. It starts tomorrow, February 13, and runs through March 19. Over the weekend I noticed more and more problems creeping up dealing with communications in my personal life. The Astrology of Dwarf Planets and Asteroids 2007-03-05 08:16:00 It was a few years ago that I became interested in the part that asteroids play in an astrological reading. I don’t remember what sparked that interest; I think it was something that I read about Chiron. Since that day I have always included several different asteroids in every chart that I do. There are around 10,000 named asteroids whose positions can be charted. Out of those I always tend to use Chiron, Juno, Vesta, Eros, Ceres and Pallas. I have started to include Hygeia mostly because I am interested in medicinal astrology and Hygeia is named for the Greek goddess of health.
