The prices are a little high…ok, a lot high…but if you have the extra cash to spend or just want to see what the Real housewives are wearing, check them out.

Bravo’s Project Runway is a Winner 2007-03-28 00:57:30 We all know how great ProjectRunway
is, but it’s nice to see them getting some awards to justify the fan base. GLAAD recently awarded the show with “Outstanding Reality Programing.” According to reports,

Celebrity Pic-O-Rama 2007-03-27 07:24:12 I don’t know about you, but I love seeing pictures of my favorite Bravo reality stars in the news or at special events. Here’s some recent ones–has your favorite celeb been out and about lately?
Jackie Warner, from Bravo’s Workout was recently spotted at the 18th annual GLAAD Media Awards Ceremony. Here she is on the red carpet. The shoes? Love, love, love. I’m not the biggest fan of girls in red carpet suits, regardless of sexual orientation, by this one really shows off her fab body, so it was a good pick if you ask me!
Workout babe Rebecca Cardonwas also on hand for the GLAAD Awards. Orange…not really her color. I mean, it’s hard to make someone that gorgeous look bad, but I can’t help but think how much nicer a blue/teal color would look on her! Like I said, though, it’s hard to make someone that beautiful look bad. She could wear a shower curtain and still be pretty.

Star Recently featured an interview with the real housewife, who dishes about her new LA life, sining career, relationship with Shane Keough, fall out with JJ, singing career, and the possibility of a third season of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
Jo De La Rosa: I don’t think of myself as someone people love to hate. I get along with everyone. I’ve always gotten along with guys and girls. I’ve never thought of myself as that way. I think of myself as outgoing and I try to live by the idea of treat others as you want to be treated. Unless they are Slade Smiley then that goes out the window with him. I was busy compromising in that relationship… I forgot how to be respectful in an argument because I was too busy trying to argue my own point. RHOC, Season 3 2007-03-30 07:30:27 Well, it looks like there will be a third season of the Real Housewives of Orange County, but the original ladies look like they’re done with the show. Bravo has announced open casting calls for 5 new families living in the OC who would be willing to open up their lives for the camera.
The first casting open call will be at the Braemar Country Club in Tarzana from noon to 4 PM TOMORROW (Sat, March 31) and the second will be at the same time in one week (Sat, April 7). No location has been announced for the second date.
Applicants must be ready to “tell their story” at the casting call. To be considered, you must live in Calabasas or Orange County, and be dating, engaged, married, divorced, or remarried (aka, if you’re single, you don’t qualify as a “wife”). Their preference is for women aged 30-45 with active children over the age of 13 and “big personalities.”

Griffin from My Life on the D-List will be cutting out the Anna Nicole Smith jokes. This was a major part of many of her routines, but in good taste she’s stopping these digs at the former Hollywood starlet and the upcoming season of D-list (as well as upcoming Bravo specials) are being re-edited. Griffin says she knew both Anna and Daniel slightly and, no matter how much she poked fun in the past, thinks that it is a real tragedy.

Shear Genius: Not Just for Americans 2007-04-06 00:57:07 Bravo’s Top Design is coming to an end (thank God), but its being replaced with what looks like an equally horrible reality show, Shear
Genius. C’mon people, bring back Project Runway and Top Chef for more seasons and forget the other crap. And where is Queer Eye?!?
Whatever.
Anyway, although most of Bravo’s reality shows have had a few international players, Shear Genius
is really mixing it up with 4 of the 12 contestants being from overseas (France, England, South Africa, and Australia). One of the judges is also originally from Denmark. You can head over to Pop Buzz UK for an international viewpoint on reality television and all things pop culture.
Look for more on Shear Genius in the coming weeks as Top Design comes to an end. And by end, I mean death. And by death, I mean suicide.

Work Out Recap 4/11 2007-04-11 17:12:37 Here’s the quick run-down of what happened on last night’s episode of Work Out. Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen the show yet!
Jackie juggles two relationships at once, which is fine because both girls know about it…but it is not fine that she was on a date with one girl and then the other girl showed up. This was the first night she and Rebecca kissed…does that mean nothing? Just because you’re a lesbian, doesn’t mean you get to be a jerk to your date. It also doesn’t mean that you get to share all of your intimate secrets on camera. I think it was really rude how Jackie was talking about her getting “better at sex.” Her date was obviously a bit uncomfortable–and even if she wasn’t, I was uncomfortable. There aren’t different rules for lesbians. We didn’t hear Gregg talk to Zen about their sex life on camera!

Bravo + Dating + Reality = 2007-04-10 16:50:52 Bravo’s putting a new spin on the dating show: getting divorced mates to play matchmaker for each other.
The NBC Universal pop-culture cable network has greenlighted a pilot for Take My Ex , an hour-long reality show in which divorced folks find mates for their ex-spouses. Each episode would focus on a recently divorced pair, documenting their better days and their current strife and then tasking each with finding a better mate for the other.
The pilot, currently in development, comes from Sam Mettler, the creator/executive producer of A&E’s Intervention , a show in which addicts are confronted on their problems by their loved ones. READ MORE

Bravo is Expanding…YAY! 2007-04-12 16:20:15 Bravo execs have recently announced that they will be expanding to show original programming on Thursday nights. Currently, their original programming is seen on Tuesdays (Work Out, Real Housewives) and Wednesdays (the competition shows). They’re adding a whole new groups of shows to the mix, starting this summer, and although I’m a bit skeptical about some, only time will tell. Hey, I thought Real Housewives sounded horrible, but I got hooked. Look forward to:

Top Design Finale: Was it Really Any Contest? 2007-04-12 07:28:59 Of course Matt won. Of course. Not that I didn’t like a few of Carisa’s innovation, but c’mon, people. Even better, though, was the fact that Matt’s carpenter, Ed, also won $10,000, and seriously, he really deserved it. I mean, the guy almost cut off a finger for this show. He never complained, never argued, and never did less than his best.
And it’s a good thing Matt won too, because, as Carisa said in her exit interview, he would have been DEVASTATED if he would have lost. I think the guy would have needed to be on suicide watch! It was a good choice to pick Matt as the winner. Yes, I’m actually agreeing with the judges for once! Let’s look at their lofts side-by-side to see why Matt had the Top Design

Body Image 2007-04-11 21:20:58 Watching Work Out every week can be difficult if you don’t have good body image yourself. I think it’s something that almost every person–man and woman–goes through from time to time. I look fat in these jeans. I’m not as pretty as my best friend. Girls thing I’m not muscular enough. Guys think I’m too tall…and so on. Watching a show devoted to exercise, where most people have the bodies of Greek gods and goddesses can be difficult.
Check out this post on body image and the links in it. Remember, the body on the outside is never as interesting and wonderful as the body on the insider.
