Steve Tosches was HC from 1987 - 1999.Second...Mike Tomlin has 13 years of coaching experience to Garrett's 2 years.Third...The Vikings were 5th in the league in Interceptions is '06 under Tomlin and 4th in Passing TDs allowed. In 2005 the Bucs were 2nd in passing TDs allowed under Tomlin. In 2003 they were 4th in Interceptions and 5th in passing TDs allowed. I could continue, but I think my point is made here.Fourth...The Dallas offense looked weak at times, with no variety in the play calling. Laurinaitis is staying for Senior season 2008-01-14 19:46:53 Ohio State's two-time all-american linebacker will be coming back to the runner-up Buckeyes in a suprising move confirmed by AP today. Laurinaitis was projecting to be a top ten pick in the draft this year, a possible selection by the New England Patriots. Laurinaitis was the 2007 Butkus award winner for top linebacker and also the 2006 Nagurski Award winner as the nation's top defensive player. Laurinaitis finished the season with 121 tackles, and a record 18 in the BCS Championship game against LSU.Laurinaitis' move should prove to open up a wide space for the nation's other top linebackers that have declared for the draft.

Head Coaching position. The story even go so far as to say Tice will be named Head Coach following a Jaguars loss to New England this weekend. Tice's return to the limelight is on a much better note than his headline making Superbowl Ticket scam from a few years ago. and will accept it at the conclusion of the Dallas Cowboys’ season, according to a source. He was hired at Dallas in 2003 by Bill Parcells, who promoted Sparano to assistant head coach. He was the offensive line coach, running game coordinator and play caller in 2006. Parcells was hired as the Dolphins executive vice president of football operations Dec. 20. He has already hired Jeff Ireland from the Cowboys to become Miami’s general manager. The Dolphins were 1-15 this season under first-year coach Cam Cameron, who was fired on Thursday. Ben Roethlisberger finished the game with over 300 yds passing, 2 TDs, and an awful 3 INTs. Najeh Davenport had a rough night running the ball. He seemed to not be able to find the holes, if there were any, in the line.In the end, the Steeler D could not stop the Jags from kicking a game winning FG with 37 seconds remaining. Run Ray Run! 2008-01-05 16:27:49 Ray Rice ran for an astonishing 280 yards and 4 touchdowns in the International Bowl against Ball St. in front of a dismal crowd in Toronto. In the 4th Quarter, the entire stadium was chanting "One More Year!", imploring Rice to return for his senior season at Rutgers. Rice has run for over 2000 yds including the 280 today and 24 touchdowns. That is more rushing yards and more touchdowns than the highly touted Darren McFadden. Rice is commonly considered the 2nd best RB in the draft this year if he declares. My bet is that Rice becomes a better NFL back then Mr. McFadden.
