Friday Food Funds - It was a GOOD week! 2008-03-08 10:44:30 YAY! I finally reached my goal of saving over 50% on my grocery shopping. Friday Food Funds - Back on Track 2008-02-23 18:01:49 I didn't post my FFF last week, because I just wasn't too thrilled with my outcome. So, here's a quick recap... Momma's Pizza Bread 2008-02-22 13:20:35 I made my Grandma's Bread
again today, but with a few additions which turned it into pizza bread. I divided the batch in half and made one into a loaf and the other into rolls. I think it turned out pretty good, and my husband liked the loaf sliced up and dipped in ranch sauce. If you click on the pictures you can see them larger.

Pleasantly Surprised ~ My New Casserole Recipe 2008-02-22 13:20:12 I made this tonight and it turned out really good, so I thought I'd share. It's my own recipe that I came up with in the moment... basically it was what I had on hand that I thought would be good together, and in my opinion it wasn't good.. it was GREAT! I'm So Excited, and I Just Can't Hide It! 2008-02-20 20:56:32 My husband has been working overseas for the last 14 months, and the only time he was able to come home was for two weeks last Thanksgiving. It's been weird! 2008-02-20 20:55:05 Well, my hubby is home after being gone for almost 14 months. It's been wonderful having him around, but honestly it's been weird too. Especially for him. He's not used to have four little beings (five if you count the new puppy) making constant motion and sound, and I think it's all a little over whelming for him. Clipper, and to say I'm obsessed with this money saving hobby would be putting it lightly. In the last three weeks I've saved $118.83 by using Manufacturer's Coupons. When I combined those coupons with store coupons and sales I saved a total of $550.78. I LOVE my coupons, but keeping them in order, and finding the ones I need is a BIG job.
