Well here are my adsense earnings for the day, they don’t exactly live up to the finance campaign I am running but they keep ticking and I get the odd $2 click here and there, I wont lose any sleep over it as I dont use adsense much… maybe I will have to wait a while for this check to come… hehe

Finance PPC - back on track 2007-01-29 22:45:08 It took ages to get my ads back up and running, but today they have been approved and I have had £120 already today but sadly a few declines
Finance PPC - disapproved adverts 2007-01-24 13:39:37 This morning I logged into Adwords like normal and I noticed a lack of impressions / clicks so I started to sniff around wondering WTF is up… It seems that they have finally twigged that my display URL is not going where it says it is, so all of my ads are sitting in “disapproved” status, fair cop I guess but sheer laziness on my part.
I guess I need to actually do a bit of work now. My plan is to create a landing page on my domain and set a redirect to the merchant, I thought I had read this somewhere, does anyone know if this is allowed?
If anyone knows of a better way around all this please let me know?

Finance PPC - Part 3 2007-01-23 23:13:14 Sorry for the delay, I have had nothing worth reporting the last few days but I thought I should give a quick update.
As I mention in my first post, getting decent click volume is still proving a major problem and even more so for the last few days. I got into a bit of a bidding war and ended up paying through the roof for a few days just to keep it running. However, since then I have been adding new keywords and removing the non performers and tweaking ad variations like crazy to try and up my CTR, which should ultimately lower my CPC.
Because of my f**k up, both sales and ROI took a hit, but I am now back on track.
Expenditure: £18.06
Income: £338.00
Net: £319.94
ROI: 1772%
All in all the program is chugging along with the odd click and is converting at 1:4 which is pretty amazing. Now I need to leave it alone for a few days so Adwords can spit some stats at me.

These results are mostly fluke but partly due to timing, but still far to early to tell. I am sure the ROI will come down a bit, maybe about 1000% or so

If you have a new site (like I did) and are struggling to get it indexed properly, your incoming link strength is low or you just want to bulk up your incoming links then this is a great way to obtain strong, highly targetted links! You may have a site about speed boats, if so you can buy say 3 months worth of PR6 one-way links to your site from another boat related site.
They are currently offering a starter kit where you get $100 in FREE Links.
Give it a try, the worst that could happen is you would lose about £40, on the other hand you could make that back in 1 affiliate sale and raise your organic profile.

Please go add your link for free but more importantly, for both the directory and yourself, link back to the directory with the anchor text “web directory uk”. Just add your link in the top level category and I will manually move them around once I get the sub categories in.

Moneygum.com 2007-05-04 17:57:19 I have another site! Well a site in development anyway but it’s looking ok.
Basically moneygum will initially be a financial comparisson site doing the usual but I have a full road map of how it will develop; a community (with a social networking spin), news, custom moneygum tools and more.
I need to make some drastic design changes i.e. the logo as not very happy with it and the CSS is all over the place, the layout of the pages also leaves a lot to be desired. Apart from that please feel free to leave any comments you may have.
