Last Black Saturday, my friends from student publication and I traveled to Bohol. Part of the tour is a lunch while having a boat ride along
the Loboc River
. The town of Loboc is 21 km from Tagbilaran City.

Today, my close friend Royce Zuñiga flew to New York. Though we are not- so-close in grade school and high school at San Beda College (in Mendiola), we just established a rapport when we served as editors of our publication. Since his mom is working as a nurse in NY, he can study and work there. But I have a different case compared with that of Royce. In December 2005, my dad petitioned me and I was given a residency card. It is easy for Royce to either stay in his homeland or mainland because he is a dual citizen, but I am obliged to take my residency in US for my immigration not to be abandoned. Although I am bound to Las Vegas this weekend, I will still return on April 10 (that’s if the immigration officer will not bar me from returning hom

Malasina is a grassy hill in the middle of rice paddies in Masin Norte Candelaria, Quezon. The summit is about 70 meters from the base and is easily accessible from the "north face". The south side appears to be an interesting rock climb challenge.
Note: The Hill is now only about one half its original size due to quarrying.
The hike was our version of the Penitensya.

Pangalawang beses ko nang pumunta sa Cebu. Sa ikalawa kong punta, noong nakaraang linggo, naging malikut ang aking isipan na pagnilaynilayan ang kulturang natatangi lamang sa mga Bisaya. Bukod sa mga Tsinito at Tsinitang mga kaibigan sa De La Salle University, may mga naging kaibigan din akong Bisaya na napakakwelang pakisamahan. At ang pagmamalasakit ko sa mga Bisaya ay umigting pa ng naranasan ko kung paano kami itrato n ang may dangal at respeto. Habang nasa Cebu, naalala ko tuloy sa Maynila kung paano kutyain ng ilang mga Manilenyo ang Bisaya. Nagiging katumbas na kasi ito nang kahihiyan.
