The F-Factor Diet 2008-05-10 13:43:00 I'm going to be starting the "diet" early instead of waiting till Wednesday because I was able to get some grocery money before then, so.....
Most of you read I'm going to try "The F-Factor Diet" written by Tanya Zuckerbrot. The program is much of what I followed in my own diet plan but has a 2 week plan that will help me lose some of my cravings (hopefully) for junk food and fast food! I'm
Day 1 F-Factor Diet 2008-05-11 16:52:00 So I started today and doing the "Step 1" 14 day phase. I believe I can make it these 14 days with NO CHEATING!
Starting Weight this morning - 176 (going to try and not peek at the scale till after the complete 14 days!)
Breakfast:
1/2 cup Fiber One1/2 cup Lowfat Cottage Cheese2 slices turkey baconWater and multivitamin
Lunch:
4 cups raw salad greens (mixed variety)1/2 cup mandarin oranges2oz
NO MORE F-FACTOR DIET! 2008-05-13 19:32:00 I'm done with the diet! I'm so shaky, hungry and then averaged the calories and I'm only eating between 500-900 calories! I don't care if I am getting a lot of fiber.......who needs this much fiber anyway? LOL
Well I was going regular (if you know what I mean) and now I'm bloated like I'm pregnant for the past 3 days with the opposite effect. I was getting average of 25g of fiber before,
Day 3 F-Factor Diet 2008-05-13 11:00:00 I was very hungry yesterday from lunch till bedtime, but I made it and didn't cheat! Here is what i ate today:

Day 2 F-Factor Diet 2008-05-12 12:34:00 I did great on Day 1 with NO cheating! WOOHOO! I also am not weighing till the end of the 14 days, so that is an extra challenge for me to stay off the scales. I'm so bloated from all the fiber and then I drank my water yesterday also but I guess its going to take my body a few days to get used to this change in food. I'm also having to drink my coffee black (only for the first 14 days) and
E-N-E-R-G-Y! 2008-05-14 18:49:00 I ate a dinner last night which consisted of carbs and finally got some energy! This morning I had more carbs with my protein and fiber and it felt SO good to have my energy back! I tell you what.....low carb is NOT for me! NO THANK YOU......I don't want to be a slug all day, I like my vibrancy haha. ;)

Not Sure Where To Go From Here 2008-05-18 11:52:00 I actually gained weight on the F-Factor diet and I'm still up from that even though its been 5 days since I did it lol.

Day at the Ocean! 2008-05-17 02:22:00 I spent the day from morning till around 7pm at Ocean
Shores, WA! I've been there many times and I have to say that today was by far the BEST day there! The temperature was hot with a nice breeze and the water wasn't even that cold like it normally is. The sand was very warm and I didn't want to leave. I did a few videos but only share ones without my daughter in them to the public for safety
Starting COMPLETELY Over! 2008-05-19 16:35:00 Well.....here I am again, not much far from what I was when I quit Weight Watcher's. What I realized was.......I was doing great going to meetings and have done great in the past, especially when I made goal with WW's in 2005. BUT.......then when I stopped going to meetings, I haven't had much success!
So I'm going back! I go to my first meeting tonight and I'm going to pray daily this time
First Meeting Back...... 2008-05-20 03:01:00 I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my first meeting back at Weight Watcher's. I had the same leader but instead of going in the very early morning, I went later on in the day and found that suited me much better.

Doing Great and Not Starving! 2008-05-22 03:05:00 I've been doing wonderful since I started Weight Watcher's on Monday! Today is my 8 year Wedding Anniversary! We celebrated last night (wednesday) and I chose Applebee's because they have the Weight Watcher's menu there. I had the Steak Portabello with broccoli and potatoes, a side salad and then the Weight Watcher's raspberry cake. It was good and I was satisfied!

Finished 1st Week back on WW's 2008-05-27 01:59:00 I finished my first week on Weight Watcher's tonight! I would have weighed in tonight but of course they are closed for Memorial Day. So I will be weighing in tomorrow night (Tuesday).
I have to say I had a great week food-wise! I got in some activity today with some deep cleaning in the house and then we had a cookout in the evening with some friends and I ate a LOT but I chose good things
I just kicked some BOO-TAY! =0 2008-05-29 16:56:00 WHEW! What a workout! I can hardly type because my hands are shaking lol. I did a very high intensity cardio and weight session and barely stopped to breath between sets AND that it isn't all.....I upped my weights! My arms feel like jello, I think I shocked them! I did a total of 35 minutes.
I also am planning on moving my "home gym" into my dining room (which is empty). We won't be
End of First Week Weigh-in! 2008-05-27 23:54:00 What a weigh in! I went to my meeting tonight instead of yesterday because it was closed for Memorial day. I about passed out when I saw the number on the scale.....I lost:

Week 2 Weigh IN 2008-06-03 00:51:00 I don't understand "why" but I gained this week. I gained:
0.8 pounds
Putting me at 179.
I did the plan, didn't go over my points and even got in about 3 workouts. Not sure but hope I can lose next week! I'm just going to keep on going on...

Vacation 2008-06-05 02:32:00 I will be taking a vacation until around the 16th! My husband's parents are coming in from NY today, so I will not be blogging while they are visiting (at least I don't think so lol). I plan to spend most of my time offline and spending it with them in the short time they are here!

After-Vacation Weigh-In 2008-06-16 19:49:00 I guess I was retaining water because the past few days all that weight gain went away and today I weighed in at 175 pounds!
That is a loss of 4 pounds from my last weigh in before vacation, about 2 weeks ago. That gives me a total loss so far of 10 pounds. I'm almost back down to where I was, at 173....then from there I will continue to lose and hopefully by the end of summer I can be around Read more:Vacation

Monday 2008-06-23 16:34:00 I've lost 10 pounds so far on this journey. That is an accomplishment in itself! I'm resting at 175 pounds, down from 185. It has been a crazy ride with health issues, medication weight gain in January and getting just plain ole' tired of dieting some weeks lol.

So I feel great that I'm not going up on the scale, but rather holding steady. I've successfully kept off these 11 pounds and it feels great. I do want to lose more but taking it one day at a time with my health right now.

It Never Seems to Fail........ 2008-07-05 15:19:00 When I'm in the groove of losing weight and exercising WHAM comes another medical problem. I had to go to the ER and the they thought I had a stroke (again). So they did blood tests, EKG, CT scan and an MRI and gave me some sedative drugs and treatment for my dehydration I had a bit of.
All in all they didn't find anything on my tests. However I have to go back to the neurologist to find out
Monday Exercise & Weigh-In 2008-07-01 01:47:00 Despite a horrible night of NO sleep.......I went walking early early this morning outside while the sun was coming up for about 25 minutes! It was a good paced walk also and I felt I burned a good amount of calories! That makes 4 days of walking in a row!! I plan on walking tomorrow too......

Sunday Exercise 2008-06-29 19:16:00 Despite being sick.....sore throat; cold.....I worked out anyhow! I do know the rule of thumb is if you are sick above the neck, it is considered safe to workout. Then if you are sick below the neck.....for safety do not workout. So since it was above the neck.......
I did 20 minutes intense walking on my treadmill! It is 90 degrees today and we are roasting but I didn't let that stop me Read more:Exercise

Exercise 2008-06-28 19:22:00 I've done exercise for 2 days in a row and my scale went up 3 pounds lol. That usually happens after I exercise, so I'm not that worried as long as it goes away in a few days!
I did 30 minutes walking yesterday and 20 minutes today and I'm drenched in sweat.......feels goooooooood! ;)
I figured if I'm going to get off 10 pounds by August, I better hurry up and exercise to burn extra calories! Read more:Exercise

Update 2008-07-13 01:50:00 I'm still holding steady at the same weight, so keeping off those 11 pounds! It is a VICTORY to keep it off even though my life has been hectic the past 2 weeks with the hospital and my health. I'm glad I have not let those 11 pounds come back lol. ; )
I'm going to try and lose 20 pounds by September and then we are going to be trying for our next baby.
