Eating Meats

I haven't had red meat in weeks except for the time I took a BITE of my husband's burger lol. I wanted to clear something up, in case someone got confused and jumped to conclusions about my reason for not eating red meat. It is NOT because animal products are bad for you.......God gave us them for food! He evens warns us in the New Testament of those that try to tell us to "abstain from meats


Boot Camp; Week 2 Weigh-In

This week I maintained. I didn't expect much being on the couch most of the week with no exercise lol. However, I slept for 20 hours (yep you read that right lol)....20 hours on Sunday! I guess my body really needed some sleep ha. I feel better and planning a workout today.

No More Weight Watcher's

Starting Over Again!

I did great my first week of my "Boot Camp" but then my medical problems caused some pain and thus I was on the couch for about a week and now I just want a fresh start again this coming week, so I'm re-starting my Boot Camp! I will change the dates to reflect this next week as my 1st week and then will change the date at the end of 12 weeks from this next week. I think this will help forget

My appetite is so low from the new drug! I can barely eat and this really is a good thing for me lol. ;) It was supposed to increase your appetite and cause weight gain in most that took the drug but I prayed for the opposite effect to help me in losing weight and well God has answered prayers lately to help me! I Can Eat Red Meat AGAIN!!!!!!!

I had prayed and asked God to heal whatever it was in my body that was not allowing me to digest the red meat and causing all the gastrointestinal distress I received eating it over the years. Well......I ate a Cheeseburger on Tuesday and had no ill effects! It felt wonderful and tasted so good too!! ; ) PRAISALUJAH!

Monday's Weigh-In

I weighed in on Monday at 174, so that is up 1 pound but still a total of 11 pounds GONE off my body! ;) I also have had NO neurological pain since I prayed for healing and believed God healed me about 1 1/2 weeks ago! I am still having sleep issues but finally got my sleep study scheduled for next week. I went grocery shopping for the month and got a lot of foods I haven't had in a while

Stuck

I would have to say that the title of this post: Stuck , sums it up for me lol. I haven't really been into losing weight recently, I guess you could say I took a break. I want to get back on this week and start working out more. I went for a walk Friday but that is really all the exercise I have done in 2 weeks. Challenge; Starting Weigh-In

No Matter What....

I told myself this time "no matter what" I'm going to do this! Well the test came......I hurt my knee. I've already torn the meniscus in both knees back when I was doing personal training but the doctor said I would be ok till I got older and then I would need surgery. She said I would have to put up with the pain or have the surgery now but I'm so young, its better to wait. I can still

Are you all ready for this? I had my first weigh in today for the end of my 1st week on my new Challenge : 12 Pounds by June 1st and drum roll please...........I lost: 4 pounds!!!!!!!! WOOHOO! I'm now 173 down from 177 last Friday. I look forward to the start of this new week and to see another loss hopefully next Friday on my 2nd week weigh in. Let's get to burning baby! ;)

I earned the Silver!

End of Week 2 Challenge Weigh-In

I didn't lose any scale weight this week, still at 173, although I did lose measurements! I lost inches and here is where I lost it: Waist 34.5 (-.25) Hips 44.5 (-.5) Total lost is .75 inches but I'm taking it! I hurt both my feet yesterday, so now my knee and feet are in pain lol.
