A letter to Ehud Olmert
2008-03-07 14:09:00
Mr. Ehud Olmert , Did Hamas do it or not? Was it Hizbollah? In the grand scheme of events it really doesn't matter. The fact is a "palestinian" went into an Israeli school and killed students. Who sent him to do it is up for debate. My bet is on Hamas. The initial claim and then disclaim are too suspicious. Once Hamas realized the repercussions of this act, they tried to take back their claim.

The next step in the intifada
2008-03-06 16:17:00
An Israeli attempts to launch his home made rocket into Gaza and he is a crazy. A "palestinian" shoots up a school and kills students and he is a martyr. Does anybody see the differences here? The Israeli was attempting to defend his home. The "palestinian" was just killing some more infidel Jews. Moshe Missimpor is arrested, while the terrorist goes to meet his allah after a martyrs death. The

Here's the enemy
2008-03-05 16:23:00
A 30-year-old Israeli was moderately to seriously wounded and a Palestinian killed Wednesday evening in a shooting attack in the West Bank village of Idna, near Hebron. And just why was this man shot? Some two hours after the incident, the Fatah-affiliated Aksa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for the shooting. The Palestinian news agency Ma'an said the Aksa Brigades issued a statement

Moral trumps legal: Moshe Nissimpor
2008-03-05 16:11:00
Ashkelon resident Moshe Nissimpor decided that the best way to halt rocket fire from Gaza - in light of what he terms the government's failure to do so - is some vigilante justice. I have written wanting to know where the people of Israel were when it came to defending themselves when their government wont. Moshe Nissimpor seems to be up to the cause. If the Israeli government won't do it, then

Stop talking occupation
2008-03-04 16:03:00
Israel is contemplating a reoccupation of Gaza even as it makes efforts to make peace with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who controls the West Bank. On Sunday, Abbas called off talks with Israel to protest the high death toll from the IDF's latest incursion into Gaza. Palestinians reported more than 120 dead in the military campaign. Israel needs to stop talking about

Political Spin kills
2008-03-03 16:34:00
Hamas and its allies in the Gaza Strip on Monday celebrated their "victory" over Israel by pledging to pursue the fight until the "liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea." Meanwhile, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas renewed his call for a mutual and comprehensive cease-fire with Israel, saying he wanted to spare the Palestinians additional casualties and suffering. I said

Don't trust them
2008-03-02 21:28:00
Everytime the "palestinians" want to setup a cease fire they are the first to break it. Israel needs to stay on the offensive until Hamas admits defeat. If this means total decimation so be it. Hamas's apparent readiness to reach a cease-fire with Israel is seen by some Palestinians as evidence of the Islamist movement's concern that it may lose control over the Gaza Strip should the military

To the death
2008-03-02 13:28:00
Why is it that the "world" is calling for Israel to halt it's attacks into Gaza? I heard nary a peep while the Gazans launched rockets into Israel. What would these other countries do if it was their people living in fear of being struck by rockets? Then again maybe I already know that answer. What has France, England, and the others done with the islamists that are agitating civil riots within

Islamic culture is evil
2008-03-02 09:28:00
Once again the arab/islamists have gone to the UNSC and once again they get a letter of condemnation. It is an ambivalent one at best but they got what they wanted. The arab/islamists are also sending a request to the UNSC to condemn Israel's attacks on civilians. I just love the hypocrisy of these thugs. They kill civilians for no reason other than to commit murder and that's ok. If Israel

Courage
2008-03-01 11:31:00
This is what courage looks like. A man who is voicing his opinion despite the cowards around him begging him to be quiet. Wilders said on his website, "Our prime minister is so afraid of the consequences of the film that he seems to give in to Islam instead of defending our democratic values and rights. Let me make one thing clear: the film will be broadcast." I'm looking forward to it.

Why is Mashaal still alive?
2008-03-01 11:11:00
Somebody needs to put a bullet in the head of Khaled Mashaal, and soon. This murderous lunatic sits in Damascus sending orders to put others to death while he lives a life of luxury. He heads an organizations who's end goal is the total annihilation of Israel. He sends out homicide bomber and giggles every time a rocket is launched. The people that put his organization in charge of their

Not occupation, decimation
2008-02-29 22:16:00
All the pundits and talking heads are writing and speaking about a possible Israeli re-occupation of the Gaza Strip. They are putting out how military commanders as well as politicians are afraid of the quagmire that is the Gaza Strip. What I have not heard anyone say is what I have been saying. There is only one way to prevent rocket attacks and homicide bombers from attacking Israel. Decimation

No peace in the Middle East
2008-02-29 16:15:00
Jordan's King Abdullah II warned Friday that unless a comprehensive Israeli-Palestinian agreement is reached during the Bush administration's final months in office, the chances for a lasting Middle East peace could be "set back, perhaps for decades." Translated from despotic political speak: "I have spoken with Hosni Mubarak and both of us are terrified of having "palestinians" within our

To attack or not to attack
2008-02-28 16:22:00
Will Israel attack Gaza or won't it? This seems to be the $60,000 question. If it does attack will it be another Lebanon? Will the Knesset decide that talking is cheaper? Will the Mayor of Sderot do as he has stated and make a deal with the devil? At what point does the Israeli government take hold of it's primary function and protect it's citizens? There are too many questions going unanswered.

What next Ehud?
2008-02-27 12:23:00
40 rockets were fired at Israel today and another person is dead. Hamas has claimed responsibility. This is a daily occurrence along the Gaza border. The question, again, is what are you going to do about it Mr. Ehud Olmert? Peoples lives have been disrupted and they live in fear of not knowing when or where the next attack will occur. Mean while, the IDF has been handcuffed by political

Who killed Mughniyeh?
2008-02-27 08:11:00
Rumors are still flying as to who killed Imad Mughniyeh. Was it Israel? Was it an Arab nation? Was it from within Hizbollah? My opinion is that it was the latter. Hassan Nasrallah had responsibilities taken away from him by the Ayatollah. This would be seen as a blow to his abilities and a show of distrust from the ayatollah. The people within Hizbollah would see this as an opportunity and

Abbas the politician
2008-02-26 16:20:00
And this is a surprise, how?!: "Without the massive IDF presence in the West Bank, Hamas would take over the institutions and apparatuses of the Palestinian Authority within days," OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Gadi Shamni told President Shimon Peres Tuesday as the two toured the Command's main base in Jerusalem. The only reason Mahmoud Abbas is still alive is because Israelis have done their

Abbas see's his own demise
2008-02-25 15:56:00
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas urged the US on Monday to make good on its promise to work for a Middle East peace settlement by the end of the year, warning that there would not be any future chances. Mahmoud Abbas realizes that his own future is short lived. Despite the recent setback with the human chain, Hamas still rules the "palestinians" and is expanding. The "palestinians"

A moment of coherency
2008-02-25 15:46:00
Despite concerns that Palestinian demonstrators against the continued blockade of the Gaza Strip would attempt to storm the border with Israel during a "human chain" demonstration Monday, the event itself proved an anticlimax and the thousands of Israeli security personnel manning the Israeli side of the border were not forced to cope with the nightmare scenario. Was it a moment of coherency for

The Hamas Killing Machine
2008-02-24 13:37:00
"Palestinians" are claiming that they are going to form a human chain that may cause a breach at the border with Israel. Despite what Hamas is trying to put out to the media, this is a preplanned Hamas incursion. They hope that Israel will result to shooting the people that breach the border. This, in their mind, is good for them and bad for Israel. Of course the "world community" would castigate

The right answer

Israel should work to bring back kidnapped IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Schalit, but must not pay any price for his freedom, OC Human Resources Maj. Gen. Elazar Stern said Sunday. To many people this sounds crass and uncaring. Mr. Noam Schalit did not want to hear this and I don't blame him. However, if Mr. Schalit were to take a step back and look at the situation he would realize that Gen. Stern's

Disregard world opinion
2008-03-12 16:59:00
In arab/islamist lands, people go out and blow themselves up in crowded malls, buses, and any other place you can think of and they are praised as heroes. Martyrs to the cause. These people are praised and made heroes of the state. Leaders from the arab/islamist world include their names in speeches of what a strong arab/islamist is. Ehud Olmert may find himself in his biggest bind as Prime Minister yet. In Jerusalem's Kiryat Moshe neighborhood, near Mercaz Harav Yeshiva, which suffered a terror attack last week, posters were put up Wednesday calling for "correct Jewish leadership, in addition to localized actions, which are welcome." The writers of the gilui da'at, or official announcement, did not specify the "localized

Get him out NOW!!!

An Egyptian-brokered truce has been reached between Israel and Hamas, a senior Israeli security official said Tuesday. The official told AFP that Hamas agreed to stop firing rockets as long as Israel ceases its military operations in the Gaza Strip. All I have heard or read was that Ehud Olmert claimed that he, nor his government, was negotiating with Hamas. He claimed there was no back door

The people are ready to fight
2008-03-11 17:07:00
Last week Moshe Nissimpor was ready to launch a rocket back into Gaza. Now, according to a report by Channel 1, students of Mercaz Harav Yeshiva were willing to retaliate against the arabs in response to the murder spree at the school. Three students met at the seminary with two rabbis to discuss whether Jewish law would permit such an attack, the TV channel said. One of the rabbis gave his

Courage and contempt
2008-03-10 19:23:00
(Dalia)Itzik said "it is not a moral question in any sense. Both the tent and the house should be destroyed. She added that she had turned to Attorney General Menahem Mazuz, asking him to examine the legal possibilities. A politician with courage. Usually those two words don't appear in the same book let alone the same sentence. That is, unless it's an attack on the politician's lack of courage.
