Dense fog
2008-06-20 03:15:00
Both of the photos were taken at 8am this morning, on my way to the university. It was so foggy that I can hardly see the way. The visibility was only about 300m. I walked slowly despite the chilliness due to the slippery ground, as well as being extra careful of approaching cars and bikes on the road. The mist only subsided around midday. I guess, many flights were postponed due the

Gratitude of all time
2008-07-02 05:22:00
Wow, I can’t believe that I've lived in New Zealand for 2 years already! How time flies!! Starting from 2006 to 2008, I feel that I just arrived the land of Aotearoa yesterday. It’s July now, which is also the second half of the year. How fast. The time just flies. Looking back, from stepping into unknown, foreign land, different culture... going through ups and downs, trials and

Dinner or breakfast?
2008-06-29 03:02:00
Hash brown, egg, salad, mixed vege, toasted bread, milk.. Sound familiar? English breakfast that you normally have in the hotel? That's what I have for my dinner just now! Come to think of it, the aftermath of cooking a proper meal for only me, myself, simply put me off. Apart from the tedious preparation and cleaning up, I pretty much wanted to dash out from the icy-cold kitchen, and hide

i eat chocolate, i eat not..
2008-06-27 04:01:00
Chocolate!! I must say chocolate has become one of the most popular flavours in the world. Drinks, desserts, gifts.. there are chocolate everywhere! White chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate.. started to drool anyone? Well, I bought a block of Cadbury Old Gold Dark Chocolate a few weeks ago. One that contains liqueur flavoured selection. This sounds tempting, as I have yet to try.

From Illustrator to AIESEC t-shirt
2008-06-23 02:00:00
Finally, our long awaited LC t-shirts are here! Woohoo~ Normally, I prefer simple yet meaningful design. A simple shirt which can convey a simple message. AIESECers learn, develop, and become positive agents of change in the society. Be it big or small, our projects start locally! With this inspiration in mind, sketching using Illustrator , I came up with this. I didn't add extra effect or

My new pearly babe
2008-07-19 01:37:00
Sorry for the overdue post. New semester has just started. My busy schedule becomes more busy.. Lab, note-take, meetings, AIESEC works, Malam works.. also sorting out my new babe! Oh baby, I'm lovin' you! *wink* Trading in my previous 4x4, I bought a mini-MPV. Mitsubishi RVR Sportgear served me well throughout the 6 months of ownership. Cruising around the city, road trips... Traveling

Christchurch Gondola
2008-07-12 04:52:00
Sunny weekends are always something that I look forward to. It's quite an irony that back in Malaysia I dislike the hot sun; yet in New Zealand I long for sunny weather all the time! Weather has been superb today. My friends and I visited Christchurch Gondola, one of the best attractions in Christchurch. It is about 30 minutes drive from Riccarton, or 15 minutes drive from the City Center,

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
2008-07-09 03:13:00
All you know is about to change! Yes, changing. I've been away last weekend, helping out at Australia New Zealand Buddhist Youth Camp (ANZBYC). For the first time officially, I was the photographer. Staying alert the whole time, holding the heavy dSLR, capturing every significant moment.. Man, it was tiring! I was grateful for given the golden opportunity to capture the learning, and life

Temporary breakthrough, just perfect
2008-08-05 00:15:00
Phew, I'm so glad for a wee break last weekend. The weeks before were a workaholic one, where I merely had 5h of sleep per day. Let alone blogging... *sob* Currently, I'm in Dunedin, for some experimental works. My friend and I drove from Christchurch to Dunedin last Friday. The almost 400km drive seems further than I thought. The sky cried helplessly throughout our journey. The 2 weeks

Flu bug caught me
2008-07-25 05:53:00
Haaachoooo.. sniff.. *blow nose* cough.. cough.. :( I was down with fever since Mon. Fever subsided after Panadol-ing. I thought I'm getting better. Instead, I ended up with flu and cough. Running nose, sore throat, "sexy" voice... Sigh. Well, I thought I'm protected against flu bug this year, since I've taken influenza vaccination 2 months ago. But... Perhaps I underestimate the virus.

Uncommon weather forecast symbol
2008-08-14 04:45:00
Living in a country where the weather is solemnly unpredictable, weather forecast is something that I get accustom to. I check the forecast from time to time. It is a must-do before I get out of the house, to plan for the next activity, and be aware of what to expect next. It's sunny. Good news! Mind you, the weather in New Zealand is extremely unpredictable. In fact, I check multiple

At 8 minutes passed 8, of the 8th August 2008, Beijing Olympic Games begun. Illuminated Olympic ring. Impressive. Extremely impressive. My eyes were glued to the TV throughout the grand opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic Games. The drummers started the ceremony with a bag. China, is a country rich with cultures and histories. The grand opening brought the world a tour of Chinese

2008-08-07 18:05:00
Certain numbers are auspicious to certain groups of people. This scenario is very obviously seen on car plate, phone number... For instance, most Chinese likes number eight. 8 = 发 = wealth. Today, it's 8th August 2008 ~080808. I believe many will tie the knot, give birth, or celebrate this auspicious day!! 080808, the grand opening of Beijing Olympic , is something not to be missed. In the
