Part 1 Whenever I visit Sydney, the one place I look forward to stopover is the Sydney Fish Market
(SFM).It offers the unique opportunity to experience a vivacious state-of-the-art working market in the heart of the city, and is the largest market of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as the world's second largest seafood market in terms of variety outside of Japan. It auctions over 100 species daily, and trades close to 13,000 tonnes of seafood annually. For that reason, if you are searching for the ultimate seafood experience, combining a vibrant market atmosphere with Sydney's lifestyle, SFM is the place to be. The seafood galore was kick-started with an order of Seafood Platter consisting of Scallops, Baby Octopus, Squid Rings, Fish and Fries, along wit
Sydney Part 1 - East Ocean Restaurant 2008-04-04 04:26:49 One of Chinatown’s biggest and brightest yum cha stars, the 400-seater East Ocean
Restaurant is a vast expanse of white-clothed banquet tables and padded, high-backed chairs. An attractively modern Chinese space – even if the lighting is a little excessive – it is also here where you’ll find one of the better wine collections in Chinatown. Also if you still haven’t been made aware, many Chinese restaurants in Australia also practice BYO, or Bring Your Own (booze), as locals are not customed to eating Asian food with Chinese tea. I shall not bore you with details of the Dim Sum as I find most items average actually. However, special mention goes to the noodles dishes we ordered – the beef in the Fried Beef Hor Fun was tender, succulent and flavoursome, a sign that it was marinated Read more:Sydney

Coffee Master Cafe - A Refreshing Cup of Coffee 2008-04-20 11:11:14 While waiting for a couple of friends to arrive for lunch this afternoon, another lunch kaki and me decided to go for a sip of a much needed drink on a hot Sunday afternoon. Since scheduled lunch was around Katong/East Coast area, we settled on iced coffee @ CoffeeMaster
Café in Katong Mall.Situated right beside Awfully Chocolate, coffee lovers have a choice of al fresco seating right at the entrance of Katong Mall, or the simple and quaint indoors which seemed to bring time to a standstill while you are at it.My kaki had a special order of Iced Mocha Mint Latte that was meant to be hot coffee. The mint flavour was barely delicate, which explains why this combination should only be drunk hot.The Iced Hazelnut Mocha I had though was absolutely great! In the vein of the rest that I have dr

Toast for my afternoon teabreak 2008-04-02 12:16:57 According to Wikipedia, “Toast
is sliced bread, which has been browned by exposure to dry heat… Toasting warms the bread, making it more pleasant to eat for some, and makes it crisp such that it holds toppings more securely… Toast is often served with butter, cheese, marmalade, or any number of other toppings.” Last Sunday afternoon, I was hungry and I decided to make something light for tea break. An idea struck when there happen to be French Loaf Slices, Foie Gras Spread in the fridge that I bought from Paris airport, some leftover Braised Duck from lunch (We had Teochew Porridge at home), and some Coriander Leaves from the kitchen. Topped it up with a hint of Japanese Mayonnaise and some Oregano Leaves from the bottle – and my master creation of Mayonnaise Braised Duck, with F

in desserts and stop diluting your brand with sub standard mains" – I went back 7 months later for their desserts and it is beyond doubt that I am sticking my guns to this statement. Their signature Warm Chocolate Cake is sinfully delectable. Described as the “melt-in-the-mouth chocolate cake oozing with rich Valrhona chocolate”, Valrhona, founded since 1924, focuses mainly on top-quality luxury chocolate marketed for professional as well as for private consumption. And I would say what a huge difference it made especially since I could evaluate it to the second-rated one I had at Friends@Jelita. Also the warmness of the cake prepared freshly by the chef harmonised perfectly with the

I managed to place an order of Absolut Peppar 1L at one of the local liquor shop in the city and completed the collection by purchasing the Absolut Level in Changi DFS. Here is the elusive one after many months of searching.
Korean Cuisine @ Le Meridien Food Court 2008-04-02 12:16:18 The good thing about working in a foreign company is you get to meet lots of people from different walks of life from different nationalities, discovering different cultures and traditions. In my company, I have worked with Americans, Dutch, Swiss, Japanese, Korean
, Malaysians, Indians, Filipinos and Chinese to name a few. And it was one day that my Korean colleague introduced me to Korean food at this place. She said she find the standard of food served here similar, if not better, than most of the other Korean restaurant she has been to so far - for a fraction of the price.Taking her word for it, we ventured to Le Meridien for one of our lunches. Lunch was Spicy Beef Soup with rice plus a choice of condiment between Kimchi, Cucumber, or Anchovies. Serving was generous with the bowl fill Read more:Court
