Are you able to see this number ?It's the number 7. Did you get it correct ?My hubby got it wrong as he is partial colour blind. Each time my girl asked him about colours, he often gave the wrong information. He also will pass the wrong (colour) toothbrush to the kids. So he can teach our children anything, but NOT colours. Out of curosity, I tested my girl ........ and she is able to tell me all

2008-06-11 01:23:42
I thought I had a closure when my refund was approved. Now my agent called me to inform that my maid had lodged a complaint in her training centre (in her country) that I had wronged her. What is she trying to do??The police had already convicted her yet she was still twisting the facts.Sigh ....I hope she will not do any harm to my loved ones ...I don't feel good ....

Provoking People
2008-06-16 04:04:53
Recently, we noticed a strange and funny behaviour from our lovely boy.He loves to provoke people. The children often fight to be the first to have his/her milk being made. We told them that they have to take turns, like, today is jie-jie's turn, then tomorrow will be his.So when it was his turn to be the first, he went on to tell his sister, resulting in a squabble."HA HA HA ... me first!"His "HA

2008-06-17 04:25:30
My boy will soon turn 3 years old in 2 months' time. How times fly~Last month when my boy was 33 months old, I wrote about his bowel issues.Today, I feel so happy for him that he could poo without taking any prune juice. Sing Along With Her (Part 2) - Tong Hua
2008-06-24 01:03:46
Which pop song does your child like?I thought of a way to get my kids interested in learning Mandarin, is to let them listen to Chinese songs, be it children or pop songs.Currently, my kids are obsessed with this song Tong Hua, because this song is their daddy's mobile ring tone. They fell in love with this song when they first heard it and my girl had since mastered the song. My boy can sing a li

New Term, New Rules
2008-06-23 03:18:33
My princess had started school on Monday. Boy, was she too excited about it that she woke up at 630am and refused to sleep after her milk. Anyway, it's much more easier for me to prepare her for school, as I don't need to wake her up from her dreams.Upon reaching the school, I saw a different kind of scene, that is, students queueing outside their own classroom, instead of lining up in the assembl

Squeezing Toothpaste
2008-06-21 09:47:08
I have this habit of squeezing toothpaste from the bottom. Every morning when brushing my teeth, I have the same task, that is to squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom again. Why? Because my hubby loves to squeeze toothpaste using his palm. Can you imagine when the paste is half-empty, I had already squeezed them all from the bottom to the top, and his doing will make my efforts down the drain.Yes

She woke up at the usual time (around 6.30am) and refused to sleep because she wanted to catch the programmes that she usually missed when she attended school.Though I don't encourage them to watch television the moment they woke up, I gave in this time as she hardly could watch any in the mo

My son is almost 3 years old and yet when I ask him, "what is your name?"He patted on his chest and replied, "Me ! Didi !"I tried to correct that his name is Zenden, but he still insisted his name is Didi. Till now, he is still sometimes confused over greeting people.Haha, I was wondering if I always call him "darling", will he go around and tell the whole world that his name is DARLING ? Hehe!Whe

Finally, the real school life sets in as my girl will be having spelling in English and Chinese every Tuesday and Thursday respectively.During the first half of the year, she does not have any spelling test. However, with the experience she has in phonics enrichment, I am sure she is ready for the school English spelling. My main concern is the Chinese "ting-xie". Hope she will fare well. Which pa

On my non-working days, I'm home alone with my son in the morning as my girl is in school and sometimes when I have a sudden tummyache, seriously I'm at loss what to do as it is dangerous to leave him alone.Yesterday, it happened and I went to ask my little boss."Boy, can mummy go toilet to put-put?""NO!""Please? I promise it will be a fast one""NO!"After negotiating with him, it was agreed that h

No More Koala Bear
2008-07-21 20:07:51
Previously when my son tagged along to school, initally he clinged on me like a koala bear. I think he must be shy. (Didn't know that the word "SHY" exists in his world! haha!)Now with the new routine (ie tag along everyday), he is so daring now to go inside the classroom and mingle with his sister's classmates and explore the whole classroom.Either I stand at the door to observe that he is doing
