Innocent ChildrenAt beginning of the year, I have made a new mummy friend whom her son is in the same class as my girl. Each morning, both of us will stand by the window to chat.Last Friday, her son tried to hold my girl's hand and she rejected him. He even tried to kiss her and she pushed him away. Then my girl's partner came and she quickly grabbed his hand and ignored J.We, the mummies, saw the whole incident and we laughed at their innocence. J's mummy apologized to me but I assured her that it was okay.Back home, I teased my girl and asked why she rejected to hold J and she told me, "Teacher said cannot change partner"Hehehe...so faithful wor :DAs for the kiss, J's father is a foreigner and I guess he has been brought up in a very open-minded way.

Miss Pampered and EnthusiaticOur princess is 4.5 years old today!6 more months to go and she will turn 5 years old. Time really flies and I could recall she was our precious little gem from Heaven. What can I say about her? She is such a sweet princess. When I say Princess, I really mean behaving like one. These past months, she has been rather sticky towards me. She would want to to carry her when we walk long distance. She would say "Daddy, carry me, I'm so tired or my leg is painful." Whenever she is tired close to her bed-time, she would request us to carry her for her teeth brushing session. I do not see my son doing that. She is really pampered. If my boy is playful to disturb her or poke her, she would burst out crying "Didi beat me ... or Didi disturb me ..." Sometimes I really can't

At HomeIt's been a while since I last updated about my replacement. My assistant has been with me for almost a month and she has been a great help to me. She is very organised lady and made effort to write down notes each time I guided her in the work. So, I feel that starting from this week onwards, it's time for me to reduce my office trips and I will be at home taking care of my children today. Will be back to work on thursday and maybe friday, at home again.:)I have a little causal talk with dad regarding some office issues. He is getting old and we cannot forsee what will happen to the company. If he cannot find anyone capable enough to take over the operations (I could only help in the administrative), I am afraid that he may have to sell away the business. My heart sank when I thought o

Do I Qualify To Be One ?I don't know how to cook and I don't like to cook.I do not even have the slighest interest in cooking partly because my hubby knows how to cook. The only thing I know is to cook rice and instant noodle. I don't even know how to fry egg ! :PYesterday, because I stayed at home to take care of the kids, I had to cook. Well, to me, cooking their porridge is easy as I just need to throw whatever stuffs, like rice, pork, fish and pumpkin and let the slow cooker do it. For dinner, we will go over to mum's place for meal. However, as I joined them for lunch porridge, I had to add more rice for my portion. As a result, the cooking period seemed longer than usual and I started to panick when the rice didnt seem to cook after some 90 minutes.Argh.I called my hubby several times

Mr Independent and AdpatableThis nickname really suit him. My son is ready to adapt in any situation. He is not very fussy over things. He insists in doing things on his own and this is a good point when he grows older. He wants to help us close the door, off the lights, switch off the DVD player, help to keep the milk powder and etc. However there is one thing which we do not like him to do himself, ie to walk on his own without us holding his hands. It is very dangerous as he loves to run away from our grip.Till now, he does not want us to teach him how to hold a pencil even he is holding it in a wrong way. He is simply stubborn. Why is he adaptable? He can fall asleep almost anywhere. Hehe. In my wifey's shoulder, in my car or even on the floor of our living room. He will not choose the p

PCF Phase 1 RegistrationMy little prince is going to school next year! Yeah! This week is Phase 1 registration for siblings attending at the same school. Remember my girl's classmate J who teased her in school?I wonder how my son would behave himself in school as he belongs to the same type - cheeky !Now you know why I assured J's mummy that it was alright when the incident happened as my son could be the one teasing other girls in his class. There was a day when we went to the library and he went to tease an infant, the baby cried so loud and I had to keep apologizing to the mummy. My mum also hoped that boy would be afraid of the school teacher as he is NOT afraid of anyone of us.I hope so! :P

The 10th NightAfter our son weaned off his pacifier, our next assignment was to train the children to sleep through the night before wearing diaper.Of course, we had to begin the task on our girl but we had not have any idea how to start. However, the day when my girl turned 4.5 years old, at that very night, she requested to sleep without diaper, which made us surprised. We didnt know how to go about training her and so we set the alarm at 2.30am to wake her up for a pee. That was about 4 hours later after she slept.Well, it went well on the few nights, the only thing was both daddy and me could not have a good sleep as we needed to wake up at 2.30am just for her pee. Then on the 5th night, she woke up crying as she wet the bed, at 2am ! Aiya! Just 30mins more then we were to wake her up. An

Persevere, Right Till The EndFor 4 years and 6 months, we havent have a good sleep and this is what you called, parenthood.First was their night feed which we managed to cut them off last year,Then was the search of pacifier in the dark every night, afterwhich we managed to wean him off.Now is the diaper-less night training.Yeah, she wet the bed again on friday night. I tried giving the milk feed an hour earlier and she did pee before bedtime. But I guess she was not used to the new routine and she wet around 1230 midnight. So yesterday night, I was back to the old routine, ie milk feed before bedtime (930pm) and woke her up at 130am for a pee. It went on smoothly. We have wanted to wait till she is ready, like observing her diaper getting lighter each morning (her diaper is always very heav

Sh*t You !The children were playing wildly and then started to fight again.Suddenly, my girl burst out "Shit you! Shit you!"Both of us were shocked to hear that as we never said it before. She must have picked up from her friends in school .... or maybe, from my nephew. My friend ever told me a chinese saying before, " it takes 3 days for one to learn bad, and 3 years for one to learn good. "Sounds so true !Anyway, we have corrected her behaviour and hope she will understand.

On Labour DayGuess where we brought the kids out yesterday ?Hmm...I suppose you thought was Botanic Gardens?Nope, we went to Istana Open House!Don't laugh but it was hubby's first time visiting. It was my second time after some 2 decades ago. Haha ....Security was very tight before entrance and there was a long queue. We queued for about 15 mins and our bags were thorough checked too.We were supposed to produce our identity card for verification purposes and there was a restriction on the dress code. Some were declined entry.I did not bring my IC and was asked to donate $1. I thought we could walk to the House but I was wrong ! The path leading to it was very very very long. The children were complaining tired (maybe because it was near to lunch time) after walking only a quarter of it, and

It's end of April !!Seriously, I wonder how I manage to pass this whole month. Been rather busy and tired shuttling between kids, housework and office. It's tough working partime. How I wish I can be a full-time mum, but as I need to have a little income to supplement the household, I have to work, still.I know we will be quite tight every month, but one thing for sure is, money cannot buy happiness. Being able to take care of the kids make my life so satisfied :)Last week, mood was rather bad. Wanted to vent out in blogging here but issues too sensitive, so left it to remain locked in other blog.Sometimes I wonder, what's the point of being online when every one seemed so busy. Online liao, also no one is talking anyway. :xHaha.Ignore me, I am ranting rubbish.

Change Of StrategyYesterday was the 18th night of diaperless-night training. We have changed our "strategy" ever since last week she wet the bed.We kept on instilling in her mind that she had to learn to control her bladder and wake up by herself to pass water, because we won't know when it's the time. Also, we brought forward the waking up call to drag the 4-hour period so that she could learn the art of controlling. We used to wake her at 2am. Now, we wake her up before we sleep, that is around 1230am.It worked for the last of whole week as she could hold her bladder all the way till she woke up around 6-630am for her milk feed.Yeah~Hope this will continue before I could really announce it a success. :D

I Have Two DaughtersLast week, when we were going over to mum's place in the morning, my son said he wanted to "take bag and go school" (play acting). He held the handbag on his arm, walking like a "tai-tai" (you know, like the arm at 90 degree position) and wore his sister's pink coloured shoes. No matter how I asked him to take off, he refused!Bo bian, we walked over as if I have two daughters. He has been behaving this way everyday and I also "scolded" him that he is a boy, stop behaving like a girl.True enough, yesterday while daddy brought him home first, in the lift, a grandfather asked his grandchild to greet my son as "Jiejie", no doubt he was spotted with a short hair.-_-"Then the grandfather paused for a second and asked Daddy if he was a boy.*roll eyes*Daddy explained why he was b

Non-Stop ActionEver since my son weaned off from his pacifier, it has been so hard to ask him to sleep. When he had his good friend, he can fall asleep within 5 minutes. Now, he runs around the room, jumps on the bed, disturbs his sister ... simply so hard to ask him to sleep. He is always in a non-stop action mode. I believe, most boys behave this way, huh? With the weather so warm nowadays, sometimes I am just too tired to control him and fall asleep. When he is tired, he will stop and fall asleep. The only thing I have to mind is, he likes to disturb his sister.

A Busy FridayIt's a busy day for me.After bringing girl to school, brought boy back home. A while later after I bathed him, I started to do some housework. Then dad called me. My mum needed to attend to some urgent matters as my grandfather had to rush to hospital, so she needed my help to take care of my niece.Of course, without much hesitation, I agreed.Dad brought niece over at 9.20am as I quickly hanged out the laundry and by 9.45am, I brought her to school with boy tagging along. He also tagged along when I went to fetch the 2 girls home at 12 noon.Wah piang ... the weather was damn hot! We are all bushed and I must keep instructing the children to drink more water. And is a tough task to watch over the 3 kids crossing the road, I really pespire like mad !And imagine I shuttle between

Happy Mother's DayLast year, when we were about to discuss how to celebrate Mother's Day, hubby received a call about his paternal grandmother passing on.Sadly, she passed away on Mother's Day and so we did not celebrate anything as hubby needed to help out in her funeral service. It was an experience for me as this was my first time attending a church service, and I also joined in to witness her ashes scattered into the sea.So when we celebrate Mother's Day, it also reminds us that it's her death anniversary. Here's to every mother in the world, hope you will enjoy this day with your loved ones.

So now we only use it to threaten them. And it works ! :DDoes your cane look l
