Anti-American
2007-11-02 03:57:00
Forgive my rambling as I just had a bottle of Pinot and I have been thinking about this all day from a comment a friend made at work. So I just want to write what's on my mind. I feel quite perplexed sometimes as to why there is so much animosity towards American 's and their culture. I feel as though I have missed something because as far as I can see, and from friendships I have with American's, I just don't see anything wrong with them (on an individual level). They are the most positive people I have ever met. Maybe they're too positive which contrasts with most people from other countries I know of (not to generalize but it's hard not to). The few things that I can see that contribute towards anti-Americanism is firstly that monkey of a presiden

Princess Diana - Please Let Her Be!
2007-10-31 01:23:00
The recent inquest into the death of Princess Di has reported that in her final moments she uttered 'Oh my God, oh my God.' Oh really? Hardly breaking news! I'm sure we would all say something similar if we knew that we only had a few more breaths in this world. All I can say is that the whole situation is tragic. From the actual event to how the world will not let her rest in peace. Please , just let her be! I really do not believe that there was a conspiracy behind what happened. If there is anyone to blame it is the relentless swarm of soulless Paparazzi. Normally I wouldn't care less if celebrities were depressed about them hounding them as they need them. But when it comes to Princess Di, she had no choice. They swarmed her during her life, during her death and still th

A Doggie Dilemma - Ellen DeGeneres
2007-10-18 06:06:00
Ok, the story goes like this. Iggy, a cute little black Brussels-Griffon is lonely and needs a home. Ellen DeGEneres sees the dog, falls in love, then decides to adopt Iggy from the non-profit org that finds dogs a home. Iggy is not accepted with the local posse (aka the cats) that rules Ellen's haunt. Ellen decides to give Iggy, whom she loves, to a trusted friend and her children who falls in love with Iggy just as Ellen did. Everyone's happy right? Well not everyone. The non-profit organization by the name of Mutts and Moms is not happy that they were not involved with Iggy's change of home, ego is hurt, they take Iggy back, cage him up, and now are looking for a home for this poor little dog.  HANG ON! Mutts and Moms, whose sole purpose is to find dogs a home that w

Paris Hilton admits she is stupid - the smartest thing she has done
2007-10-12 16:39:00
Paris Hilton is not very high on my list of influential people and here are some of the reasons why. Quite sad I must say when I see 16yo wanna'be's strutting the malls with their frog glasses and chiwawa's. God help us in 10 years when they, like, grow up - so to speak.  Source: tvsquad.com I think Paris has a future as one of those Jaywalkers on The Tonight Show. The girl is dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb. If you didn't already figure that out from her crap reality show and personal appearances on various talk shows, you really should read some of her spoken word. It's... depressing. TMZ obtained a copy of Hilton's deposition from a lawsuit in which she is accused of spreading lies in gossip magazines about her ex-boyfriend's ex-girlfriend. Here are a few
