Little Brandon Is Sick 2007-01-24 19:01:26 My little bubbaloo (my new little name for him) is sick. Thankfully he doesn’t have a fever but he has a bad cough and conjested. I kept him home from school on Monday. Sent him on Tuesday (yesterday) only to get a phone around 10 a.m. asking me to pick him up from the nurses office. And today I kept him home again. I’m hoping to get him to school tomorrow cause he is missing alot at school this week. And the thing is your only allowed to miss 14 days out of the school year. If you send them and they send them home then it’s not counted against those 14 days. So what do you do? He knows though he is not allowed to play any xbox while he is sick. He is allowed to lay down and watch tv in his room or cuddle up on the sofa with me.
Today I am bringing him to my SIL for an hour so I can go to an interview.

My Favorite Villains 2007-01-24 00:41:54 I have two favorite villains of all time when it comes to movies. My ultra favorite would be Dr. Hannibal Lecter of Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal and Red Dragon (I have all three on DVD) ohh man he is just AWESOME!!! I don’t think they could of found a better actor then Anthony Hopkins for the part. Then next to Hannibal would be Jigsaw from the “Saw” movie series. Now while he doesn’t have a big part in the movies “his” ideas of torture are just crazy. Yes I am just demented, but ya still love me.
So how did I come across writing this post?
Well today Saw III was released on DVD, Woo Hoo!!! I ran out to buy it today at Circuit City along with the first two movies. I had the first two that were copies on DVD but wanted the actual disc and because Circuit City had such a great deal on all three of the movies I picked them all up. Saw I is just the normal widescreen edition (all my movies are widescreen if I can help it), Saw II is a two dis Read more:Favorite

He's Alive!!! 2007-01-23 17:39:17 A few weeks back when I bought some fish I had also bought a bamboo shrimp and some bamboo for him. The same day that I bought him he became MIA. I searched everywhere in my tank for him. I looked on all the plants, inside the cave I even took the cave out looking for him. He was no where to be found. I assumed that he either died and his body just kinda dissapered (from others eating him) or he crawled out of the tank (since they are known for doing so). But I never found him anywhere around my tank I even searched in the filter for him. NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING…. I was like damn I just spent five dollars on this guy and he is missing.
Today I go to get my phone which is over by my aquarium, and I looked in my tank and there he was right up front and center waving his hands saying “look at me!” I couldn’t believe it. I can only assume that he was maybe hiding under the gravel hanging out with the eel (that had comitted suicide about a week or so ago). Read more:Alive
Romantic Things to Do 2007-01-23 07:12:47 After putting my new comforter on my bed, I started thinking about romance and all that lovey dovey stuff. The comforter in my opinion just screams love and romance and it made me think while I was laying on it to write a list of fun romantic things to do. Now while a list can go on and on for romantic ideas, this is a list of things that I’ve personally done (not necessarily with Mohcine). I’m sure I’ll think of more things from my past and add them.
Because I am such a hopeless romantic (amoung other things *snicker*) people often wondered how Mohcine and I’s marriage lasted so long. I often wondered that myself. I guess I just changed the way I was to be with him. Never again will that happen.
Surprise them with a hug from behind while they are busy doing something
Kiss them when they are in the middle of a sentence
Send them text messages throughout the day
Call them up on the phone and say nothing but I Love you
Write I Love You on a piece of pape
And the Winner Is!!! 2007-01-23 04:16:26 Well since I’m not ready to show my bedroom off for my Cribs - Blog Style post. I’m just going to show you which one won with a close up of the comforter. But you will see the comforter I had before next to the one I have now. The one I had before my Mom had bought Mohcine and I. So I needed to stop using that.
Q. How can someone start a new life with a comforter that you used when you were married?
A. YOU CAN’T, IT JUST CAN’T HAPPEN!
After I totalled up the results from my post found here, answers posted on forums, and personal emails and pm’s the results are in (These are the results before I went to get the comforter)
1 = 9 votes
2 = 12 votes
Trust me the photos do not do the comforter justice at all, it is amazingly beautiful….

21 Days 2007-01-21 05:52:17 I’m a little upset at my past landlord. He was a nice guy but was horrible at getting back to his tenants. I can go on about past experiences with him, but I won’t. I will just talk about this last and final experience of trying to get my deposit back.
When I moved out on the first I called him left a message letting him know that we were out. A week later I called him back (since I never heard anything from him) I actually got a hold of him then. He said he was going over to the house that day. And that if I didn’t hear from him by Thursday to give him a call. So Friday comes and I never heard from him. I give him a call no answer. I leave a nice message letting him know that I was returning his call to see the status of my deposit. He never called back. I wait till the next week and attempt to call him again. Basically saying the same thing as before. Of course I get no phone call back. I called again today (20th day after move out) only this time I
Make your Choice 2007-01-20 20:44:00 Lately I’ve been thinking about a new comforter. At first I saw comforter #1 then I came a crossed #2 and fell in love with it. There is a big price difference in the two but won't say which one is which. So I am letting my fellow blog readers help me out. Which one do you prefer if any?
To help with your decision here is a picture of my bedroom set (this is not my room)

I Must be Famous! 2007-01-26 07:12:01 I along with anyone else who owns a site or blog must be famous because we have a one…. Wanna know why? Keep on reading.
So yes Jeni, Robin, Chelle, Indie and all the other bloggers that actually own our own domains and pay for hosting (and he may even think the same of the users of blogger.com and other related websites)…
This is a section of a conversation I had the other day…after a lil while he started to really bug me with a billion questions and I had to just ignore him since I was busy looking at ads for jobs online. Because I started to ignore him after I said I was busy he went on to say I was a bad liar and such lol…
“Why do you have a website ?
Are you famous ?”
“I dont know anyone but bands and famous people having sites the normal peeons of society do not have sites”
I told him yes they do, to then be replied with
“oh well , bbw hookers have sites”
I’m thinking then, is he saying im a hooker?? So I as Read more:Famous
Brandon's Left Knee 2007-01-27 01:03:03 I was folding some clothes up after doing some laundry today. Brandon
has several pairs of jeans that have holes in their knees and I only keep them for when he is playing around in the house or outside (don’t worry he doesn’t go to school or in public with these). But today is when I noticed that all his jeans all have holes on the left side.
You can see the pair on the left is in the beginning stages. I’m wondering what he is doing to make such big holes. And yes your right I had nothing really better to blog about today lol…
Home and Garden Party 2007-01-27 20:08:10 Last night Angela hosted a Home and GardenParty
. I wanted to host one but wasn’t planning on hosting it till probably March. But if you host it before the 16th of February and your party brings in at least $150.00 you get any single item in the catalog for $19.50 no matter what price. This is on top of the standard hostess deals like 50% off one item and depending on the amount of sales you get at your party would determine how much free merchandise credit you get, such as $150 would get you $30 of products (I think that was the correct amount). So anyhow I was yelled at by everyone in the party to go ahead and do it, they all said they would come to it. The only reason I was saying no is because of Brandon’s B-day that is on the 16th. So I’m having my party on Saturday February 10th. Two parties in 1 wk, what am I thinking? The frogs up to the top right are the items that I purchased from the party they were 7.95 for both if you purchased $30 or more. Well
Hannibal Rising 2007-01-28 18:04:02 Funny how I just wrote a post about my favorite villains of all time earlier this week. And today when I wake up and i’m watching a lil T.V. I see a preview for a movie. And while watching it, it makes me think ohh I might like this. Then is says “From the Author of Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal
.” Hannibal Rising
is Hannibal from the very beggining as a teenager. Although i’m not sure how good it will be with out Anthony Hopkins, but of course he can’t do this one.
Comes out February 9th who wants to take me to see this for my Birthday coming up? haha
Summary written by Bloody-Disgusting.com read this and more from IMDB
This is the story of the monster Hannibal Lecter’s formative years. These experiences as a child and young adult led to his remarkable contribution to the fields of medicine, music, painting and forensics. We begin in World War II at the medieval castle in Lithuania built by Dr. Lecter’s forebear, Hannibal the Grim. Read more:Hannibal Rising

40 Hours of HARD Labor 2007-01-29 19:04:55 Brandon's Birthday is next month and I just couldn't help myself in wanting to write this. especially since this is his first birthday with me since he turned one…
EDIT: This takes place almost 11 yrs ago
I went through 40 Hours
of hard labor with Brandon. 2 Days before Brandon was born the Labor came on strong. I like just like about every other mom go to the hospital to get checked out and sent back home. Wasn’t dilating at all, so I went home… That night my Mom calls me up telling me I needed to go walking to help speed up the process. But who wants to walk when they are in labor? Surely not me… She calls up Kerri telling her that she needs to come over to my house and pick my ass up and take me walking. So Kerri shows up and we go to Target and started doing my baby shower registry (we had the baby shower after he was born, so my Mom could be here for it) Imagine me at Target scanning items I wanted, saying, "HOLD ON!" every few minutes as a contr

Dear Alcohol, 2007-01-30 05:30:04 First & foremost, let me tell you that I’m a huge fan of yours.
As my friend, you always seem to be there when needed.
The perfect post-work cocktail, a beer at the game, and you’re even around in the holidays, hidden inside chocolates as you warm us when we’re stuck in the midst of endless family gatherings.
However, lately I’ve been wondering about your intentions.
While I want to believe that you have my best interests at heart, I feel that your influence has led to some unwise consequences:
1. Phone calls: While I agree with you that communication is important, I question the suggestion that any conversation of substance or necessity takes place after 2 a.m. Why would you make me call those ex-girlfriends when I know for a fact they do not want to hear from me during the day, let alone all hours of the night?
2. Eating: Now, you know I love a good meal, but why do you suggest that I eat a kebab, a butter chicken curry along with a sausage with che Read more:Alcohol

Everyone's Sick 2007-01-30 20:19:44 For the past two weeks every kid I know has been sick at least once. They may get better only to get sick a few days later with some other bug. Brandon was sick last week with a bad cough and congested. He missed 2 1/2 days of school. Then on Thursday he started to feel better and seemed to be feeling great on Friday and Saturday. Sunday he woke up came out to the livingroom and I could tell by his facial expression he wasn’t feeling well. He layed down with me and watched a lil TV. Then about an hour later jumped up and said, “Mom I feel like i’m going to throw up!” Unfortunately my lil man didn’t make it all the way to the “correct facility”. The rest of the day he just lounged around the house and took naps. Yesterday he woke up appearing to feel fine, maybe it’s because he knew he had a field trip? Or maybe he was actually feeling good? Today I was taking a lil catnap while Brandon was at school and got my Call from the Nu
Does he think I'm that low? 2007-02-01 08:54:22 I wanted to write this little mini post, after the one I just wrote (wanted to keep them seperate). While I was writing the previous post. The guy who I was refererring to in the I must be famous post. Sent me a message saying, “what’s up?” then buzzed me when I didn’t answer. First off I can’t express how much I HATE the buzz feature on yahoo. It is so freaking rude IMO. Second does he really think
i’m that low, that my self esteme is so low that I will talk to him after what he said? I DON’T THINK SO!
WTF? lol
The "L" Boogie 2007-02-01 08:36:57 Today I went out and bought a few DVD’s I’ve been wanting forever. Both were movies that Mohcine would of not cared for at all. And I don’t think he would of liked me to have them in the house just because of the way he is. First I got “The L Word” season one on DVD. I’ve never seen the show but have heard great things about it and have always wanted to watch it.
If your wondering what it is… From Amazon.com
Plot Synopsis: ‘The L Word’ is billed as the intimate story about the lives and loves of a group of lesbian friends living in Los Angeles. Mostly centering on Jenny (Mia Kirshner), a recent graduate of the University of Chicago, who moves to Los Angeles to live with her boyfriend Tim (Eric Mabius) and begin a professional writing career. Jenny’s life is turned upside down when she attends a party hosted by Tim’s next-door neighbors, Bette (Jennifer Beals) and Tina (Laurel Hollomon), a lesbian couple who are loo Read more:Boogie
Exhausted and Stressed 2007-02-03 04:01:17 I tell you I am ready for a few drinks. My fellow blog readers must be going crazy since I haven’t blogged in almost two days. But I have good reasons for it.
Yesterday was my Mom’s B-Day. I called her up and wished her a Happy Birthday, and she was saying that it started off not so good (lil sisters were giving her a hard time before school). I said well how about if we go to breakfast. I was certain that would chear her up. So I get in my car and start to head off to meet her at one of our favorite places. I get on the on ramp and right before I actually hit the freeway my car starts acting funny and I pull over. I look under the hood to see if there was anything that would stand out to me. Everything seemed to be fine with the exception that my engine was way too low on oil. I put oil in it. Go to start it up and nothing all I hear is the car making it’s pathetic cry’s for help as it attemps to start. But nothing. “OHH SH*T my car won̵
A Night with the Queens 2007-02-04 08:18:41 Tonight was a blast…My Mom, Kerri, Trish (friend of family) and I all went to LIPS which is a restaurant / dinner theater with Drag Queens
. This place is a happening place that requires reservations be set at least 1 week in advance from the day you want to come and that is still cutting it close to not getting a table. We went for my Mom’s Birthday that was the other day. Food is delicious, great drinks and wonderful deserts.
I ordered…
OPHELIA - Linguini Off the Half-Shell
Shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, & calamari simmered in a white wine, garlic sauce, fresh herbs, & chopped tomatoes served over pasta.
I kept my drinks to a min I ordered a peach cosmopolitan (thought of you Robin, when thinking of what to order), white russian (yea i got boring then), and ended it with a shot of donkey punch.
Although this place alows people of all ages from babies on up…. They do have mouth’s on them and are very sexual. So I don’t recomme Read more:Night

Car Repairs 2007-02-06 08:15:14 WARNING: LADIES THIS CONTAINS BORING MECHANIC TALK
When ever you buy a used car from someone. You just about always run the huge risk of some kind of problems that they don’t tell you about. There are usually reasons why they are selling the car.
Anyhow I bought the Accord knowing that the carburetor would need to be looked at. When it comes to the Honda Accord and carburetor problems it could be one a few things wrong.
It can be one of the the vast amount of vacuum cables has gone bad
It could be that the carburetor just needs a good cleaning
Possibly even just a slight adjustment
In the worst case scenerio it would need to be rebuilt (since they don’t make these new anymore).
When I bought the car he said that it would need to be replaced but the car starts up find during the day, just a lil trouble in the morning when it’s cold outside. Well the next day I started having some minor problems with it starting up. Later into the day it started making t Read more:Repairs
A Little Visit 2007-02-07 08:48:57 Well this past Friday and again today I saw Mohcine for the first time since he decided to end our marriage on November 8th, 2006. I went to get some $$$ from him. Usually he will have his friend drop it off to me, or leave it at the store where he manages for me to pick up from who ever is working. A few asked me if how I was when I saw him and I said fine and honestly I really was. I went there said hello to him, we asked how each other was doing. He gave me the $$$ and I left. Today he was giving me some more so I went back down plus, I forgotten I had about 2 grocery bags full of some of his things. So I gave them to him, Brandon got to see him this time he had a big smile on his face.
Things are going so well..
Which reminds me, I went to my old Wal-Mart last week (the one i used to work at) and I was telling a few people of my recent changes in my life. One of the ladies I really loved talking to while I worked there told me I was a Weeble Wobble. For those who don

Cribs - Blog Style 4 2007-02-09 00:27:09 It’s been almost a month since my last installment of “Cribs
- Blog Style
”. So far you’ve seen the livingroom, bathroom and diningroom. Today is my little kitchen.
Kitchen before move in. Not sure why they painted the cabinets white and never put another coat of paint on to cover the knots in the wood.
Kitchen after move-in
And in the grand tradition of MTV’s Cribs we will open up some cabinets.
My small collection of liquor, as you can see no expensive wines or champagne’s here though…
Top left is my newest addition to my collection Tuaca, thanks Kerri for turning me on to it. Bottom left to right is Bacardi Gold, Smirnoff, Southern Comfort, Jose Cuervo, E & J, Bombay Sapphire, Amaretto Di Saronno, and Cles des Ducs (Rochelle gave it to me).
Some of my glasses in which to drink my liquor… I have more wine glasses as shown here

A Sneak Peak 2007-02-09 07:33:57 So your going to get a sneak peak at Brandon’s birthday present…. He has been wanting this for a while and today I went out and got it for him, so SHHH don’t tell him hahaha..
Obviously he doesn’t read my blog. I need to fix his computer and set up the internet in his room.
At $75.00 it wasn’t cheap
