Not enough excitement 2007-07-10 02:14:14 Apparently my blog doesn’t see enough excitement as I got this G rating… It said I had one refence to “drugs” apparently all my reference to drinking Tequilla, Wine, what ever else we may drink, Crazy nights at the gay clubs dancing on the stripper poles, evenings with the queens that cursed every other word, or even my brief description of how my first experience with a woman was started is is not enough to get me at least a PG. Ohh heck what do they know…
I’m rating my blog
Slumber Party 2007-07-09 01:44:05 I had a nice Saturday, first Erin came over and took us for some MAJOR grocery shopping then spent some time with me after for some chit chat which is always nice. During this time Angela called and asked if we would like to come over to go swimming and for a slumber party. Of course I do, especially since I was thinking it would be another Saturday night at home. So Erin being the wonderful kind hearty beautiful woman that she is drove us over to their house.
They all went swimming for a few hours while I relaxed under the umbrella (no sunburns here chicka). Angela ordered some really good pizza for us to pick up from Mangia Bene’s who the owner of the place just happens to be a friend of her family. So after scarfing down some delicious pizza, the boys doing their usual dare of tasting extremely hot, hot sauce.. and I mean so hot that they actually put warnings on the bottle and have images of a face with fire come out, it’s so hot that it burns your skin (Angela Read more:Party
A Walk Through 2007-07-07 00:56:28 Brandon and I live in downtown El Cajon. So just about every day we cut through the County Court House / City Hall area to get to local stores, restaurants and just about anything else. Today we were walking through and noticed a shaded bench and felt a nice cool breeze. Even though we had only been walking for about 5 minutes I wanted to stop and enjoy it for a little. And snapped a few photos while there…
City Hall / County Court on the other side up top used to be the county jail until inmates escaped by making holes in the walls that were made of Styrofoam and used their bed sheets to climb down…who’s bright idea was that I wonder…. On most days you will find a huge American flag that covers most of the building hanging down on the right side. I love it, next time I see it i’ll take a photo of it.
Behind the bench we were sitting on
And in the pond in front of us we find cute little duckies
Walk it out! 2007-07-14 02:53:39 I found this on Robin’s blog and just find it so amusing…And need to add a lil something to make people laugh/smile
So here we are to the song “Walk it out” which is the same song as played in the “Happy Feet” video
An Update for Everyone 2007-07-14 00:15:29 Yesterday I spent 9 hours in the Hospital with Angela, with one of them was spent with her mom at the mall across the street picking up things for Angela and grabbing a bite to eat. Yesterday they performed just about every test possible I think. Here is a list of test just from yesterday
MRI
MRA
Cardiogram
Sonogram
Cat Scan
along with various blood test throughout the day.
So we found out that she had the stroke on the left side of her brain yesterday. Today they performed a Angiogram for those who don’t know what that is…
This test involves inserting a catheter ( small tube) through an artery in the leg and guiding it into each of the vessels in the neck going to the brain, injecting contrast (dye) and taking pictures of all the blood vessels in the brain.
So after that we found out some slightly disturbing news…
1. That she has some permanent brain damage in her cerebellum
2. The doctors said that she is very lucky to be alive, that someone was looking Read more:Update
Oscar with Zoloft 2007-07-13 14:23:14 While in group therapy in Wednesday this week we had to create these collages out of newspapers showing our mental, physical, social and spiritual health. I pick up a paper to find the best thing ever to start off my mental health. Everyone wished they had found it, and then they thought to take it and Xerox it and place a copy on their fridge. It just seemed to be so appropriate for the group. So here it is…

Chiropractors and Strokes 2007-07-12 04:34:17 WOW I didn’t think I would be blogging so soon after my last post, 3 times within 12 hours?
But this is something I need to write about. As it was enough to wake me up in the middle of the night, and scare the sh*t out of me.
I think alot of how I would love to go back to see my Chiropractor to get an adjustment to relieve some aches and pains, but after Angela’s experience yesterday I don’t plan on ever making a return visit and neither does she. I think I’ll just get a prescription from my good ole doc for pains.
Yesterday she had went in for her usual adjustment except it wasn’t so normal yesterday. Something went wrong…. As soon as she had her adjustment she began to have vision problems. Seeing crossed eyed and getting dizzy so bad that she was unable to drive and had to leave her car at the office and one of the associates drove her home. Later on in the evening she spoke with her lawyer and he advised her to go to the ER right a Read more:Strokes
Mulholland Drive Interpretations 2007-07-11 23:56:31 As most of you know I love twisted horror movies. And movies that really make you think, heck I love all movies but these are some of my favs. Fellow blogger Robin has suggested about 2 dozen movies for me to check out (will get to those later) one of them being Mulholland Drive
. I’ve heard of it but knew nothing about it. So I added to my Blockbuster Queue and received it in the mail on Monday. Monday night I put it in my DVD player while laying in bed but fell asleep 5 minutes later, no this doesn’t mean that I was bored, just that I was alot more tired then I thought, also the fact that it was about 1 a.m. didn’t help much either. So last night I put it in again after Brandon went to bed. Started watching it watched the first hour of it the 2nd hour off and on as I wanted to start getting things ready to go to bed. So today I grab the movie and play it once again from beginning to end. Still confused, if i was interupted I stoped the movie and brought it
Beautiful Dumpsters 2007-07-11 15:57:29 Ok I know those are probably two words that would never be in the same sentence and that it sounds more like a punk group then a blog title but oh well, hey I wonder if I can sue someone if they use that for their punk rock group after this? lol, anyways…ya never know these days
Wanted to share pictures of what I see on a weekly basis on my way to/from group therapy…
I noticed these first two about 2 wks ago and wanted to stop to take a picture then but was running late and later realized I didn’t have my camera with me anyhow…. I didn’t know why they were painted like this at the time, I just thought someone was creative and decided to paint them like they tend to on electrical boxes over where Mohcine and I used to live about a year ago.
Then this last friday when I was going to walk through I noticed alot of cars and people and noise… and that one of the areas i normally walk through was closed off. So I had to walk around everything. Read more:Beautiful

- Having friends to love and they love me in return
Pride Parade 2007 2007-07-21 19:48:42 Finally after all these years I made it back to see the pride parade. Who doesn’t love a parade? Ok so Brandon was probably a little confused about some of it but I think it was a good experience and for him to support his momma. So rather then type I’m going to post some of my favorite shots here, allot more then I should be, but I’m wanting to suck up bandwidth lol j/k anyhow l uploaded all 200+ photos in the gallery (taken by both Jason and myself)…

Never Enough 2007-07-19 19:53:12 How do you say to someone I love you when saying those three words just never seems justify your feeling for them? How do you show them you love them when what ever you do doesn’t seem to be enough?
I’ve felt this way only a few times in my past with people I was involved with in a relationship, I hate that no matter what I do or say I feel that it’s just never enough for how I feel. I had a deep love for Mohcine where I felt a deep need to tell him I loved him at least a dozen times a day. My love for John was a deep strong love too, and my 3rd was Jes but we all know where that went. Now I feel this un crazy need to share to Angela just how much she means to me.
Angela,
I wish that I could properly and fully express how much I love you. And with the latest mishap in your life I feel an even stronger need to express myself and bring myself closer to you. I want to make sure to tell you more then I already have in the past that I love you.

Checks Cashed…No ID 2007-07-23 22:10:30 I’ve gone to this liquor store twice to cash a couple of very small checks i’ve received when I need the money for something right then and didn’t feel like going down to the bank especially since this place is only a block away.
So why this pathetic excuse for a post? Heck I have no reason really&hellip
;But I do find it a little strange that both times they never once asked me for a form of Identification…
1st time - Walk in tell them I would like to cash the check, they take it asked me if I ever cashed a check there before I say no they walk over to the register and then realized I needed to sign it still. They bring it over have me sign it and bring me back cash.
About two weeks later
2nd time - I walk in telling them I needed to cash a check, I pull it out sign it and hand it to them and before I can get my ID out of my wallet they are handing me cash for it.
So if you need a check cashed and have no ID hit them up chances are you’ll get it

Hangovers 2007-07-23 00:44:47 Please note that I am not a Doctor I will not be held responsible for your actions. I am simply just posting this for fun after having my first serious hang over in over a year. This post will probably stir up some debate but I’m hoping it won’t
Hangovers as we all know just suck. Only a few remedies to help them once we have them in the morning so the best we can do is try our best to avoid them to begin with.
Here are my few things I do to avoid them
1. Best thing to do to avoid a hangover is the obvious… DO NOT CONSUME ANY ALCOHOL (obviously I don’t practice this much)
2. Stick to the same type of drinks example don’t mix beer with hard liquor (I usually stick with a juice of some sort and Vodka)
3. Eat a hearty meal before hand (something I didn’t do Friday night) Food in the stomach prevents rapid absorption of alcohol into the blood stream.
4. Drink lots of water before and throughout the night
5. Try to keep yourself to 1 drink per hour (when
One Year Reunion Anniversary 2007-07-22 14:06:17 I have bits and pieces on my blog about what happened with Brandon and I and why I had to go to court and why he was taken from me It’s a rather long story but thought I should probably get it out and blog it, besides today is our reunion anniversary.

A View of a Train 2007-07-26 14:40:08 When you spend 7 hours of transportation to have a 3 hour visit with a friend you must be crazy right? Not to me, but that is just the way I am. Yesterday I went to see Jeni. Usually I would take an hour drive up there but now that I’m car less it’s not so fast or easy. It takes about 10 minutes on the city bus, to get to the trolley station, 60 minutes on the trolley, a 10-15 minute wait to board the Amtrak then another 100 minute train trip from San Diego to Irvine. You spend your time with the incredible cute Sophie, Jeni and Soenke to turn around 3 hours later and repeat it all over in reverse. On the way home though was a little different having to stand for 40 minutes of the trip being how we chose to come home at the rush hour commuter train. So what do you do between little naps? You take totally unneeded photos of what your staring at turn it into a mini collage and then blog them.

Thank you for not smoking… 2007-07-24 22:00:42 For those who smoke you probably hate this but for those who don’t (I used to) we love it. California is great for people who don’t smoke. No smoking in restaurants, stores, bars, even outdoor malls&hellip

SD Comic-Con 2007 2007-07-27 20:38:55 Today Brandon and I conquered our first Comic
-Con experience. And when I say we conquered I’m not lying, in the 4 days that it goes on Thursday-Sunday it brings in over 100,000 people from all over. So you can only imagine how crowded it is in there and how hard it can be to get a decent shot. Everyday was sold out and thankfully Brandon’s Grandmother works at the Convention Center so we got our tickets free and requested Friday tickets knowing it would be really crazy on the weekend. So here we go with the pics since they really do say a thousand words…

Love-Hate Relationships 2007-07-31 15:29:06 Love-hate relationships to me are like an addiction to a drug. Your family and friends think your crazy for doing it. You want to quit because you know it’s bad for you (for what ever reason), but find your self coming back for more and more no matter what because you love the short term effects of it. Something about that person drives you wild and makes you coming back for more and that unfortunately lets you plummet further down, letting yourself be more vulnerable to heartache and pain.
As described by wikipedia.org:
A love-hate relationship is a personal relationship between humans or organizations, or figuratively between a human and an inanimate object, like a computer, a field of study, a body of ideas, or a profession, involving simultaneous or alternating emotions of love and enmity. Sometimes the person may love the other person/object, but hate oneself for it. This relationship can, but does not have to be of a romantic nature.
Here are other’s ideas of love-hat Read more:Relationships

Google’s 1st Page 2007-07-29 14:49:55 For a while I’ve been showing up #1 for the keywords “Heathers Blog” on Google
’s first page and that is fantastic. But now I am coming up #8 for the keyword “Heather” on the first page. Every so often I would google search my first name to see if I can find it, being how it’s such a common name I didn’t expect to find it w/o going in 7-8 pages like I used to have to. But the other day I received an email from another Heather that made me want to google my first name again…
Here is the email I received
Hey - I was playing some silly google game (you type in your name and visit the top 10 links it brings up and anyways…) and your blog came up (my name is Heather too, obviously). Anyways, read your blog (at least some of it, whew! Lots of info and great pics) and really enjoyed it. I guess thats kinda funny to say but you have a great way of posting information and I love the photos. Well thanks for putting yourself out th
Low Self-Esteem 2007-08-03 02:31:55 Please note that the following is just my thoughts on the subject and how I feel about myself. I am no doctor and will not be held responsible for any actions taken by my blog readers. Now that we have that taken care of lets get back to my post.
Some of you may not know this, but I have incredibly low self-esteem. Matter of fact, I believe it took close to a year before I even considered placing a picture of myself on my own blog and some of you that have been around that long even noticed that. Although now, most of the time I think that I portray myself on here (my blog) to have a healthy self-esteem, or at least I try to. Did I fool ya??
Having low self-esteem causes so many problems for you, friends and loved ones or anyone else involved in your life. And unfortunately I know obviously from experience that it causes lots of heartache in relationships. Which is the direction where I am going to take this post, low self-esteem and relationships? Although I’m only g
Love’s Spare Tire 2007-08-02 03:09:39 There are lots of “open marriages” in which the partners agree that each may engage in extramarital sexual relationships, without this being regarded as infidelity, with these relationships there are usually boundaries set. There are also ‘one sided’ open marriages (I call them) where one person such as the husband will alow his wife to have a boyfriend on the side (I actually know someone who is in a relationship like this). However I find that usually in these ‘one sided’ open marriages that the polyamorous spouse is bisexual which usually is the main reason for wanting the open marriage to begin with (although I could be wrong). I too understand that need of wanting to be with a woman when I was married however hard it maybe for others to undersand or for for me to explain to them.
So where am I going with this?
Some of my readers know of a relationship I was starting to get involved in with a married woman. It also shocked some of them becau Read more:Spare
The Movie “Pink Flamingos” 2007-08-05 05:37:10 I didn’t think I would ever be able to find a movie that was both hilariously funny and totally disgusting all together till tonight when I finally got my hands on one of the most offensive movies ever made, John Walters 1972 black comedy film Pink Flamingos. Pink Flamingos has horrible acting, dialog and a even worst plot, but with all this it definitely has it’s share of fans,
But I must warn you that while this movie has what I would think are hilariously scenes this movie is not for the faint hearted!
Divine lives for her title of &ldquo
;The Filthiest Person Alive&rdquo

The Movie “Eraserhead” 2007-08-04 00:25:27 WTF! I think will be the first words out of someone’s mouth after watching David Lynch’s first feature film 1977’s &ldquo
;Eraserhead&rdquo
;. This movie has to be possibly the oddest films ever made, being a combination of black comedy, horror, science fiction, and pure fantasy. If you like twisted mind blowing films then this is up your alley. Pretty much anything from David Lynch is for you then. I had to see this after Robin had made a post about her top 5 disturbing movies this was her #1 and after reading that I just had to watch it.
Henry Spencer, goes to have dinner at his girlfriend’s families house after not seeing her for a long while and discovers that she was pregnant. The girlfriend moves in with him but disappears soon after, leaving him to take care of the creepy, alien-like baby all by himself. During this time, he dreams of a girl with tennis ball size lumps on her face who lives sings and dances in his radiator. It doesn’t stop there as
What I am Greatful for 2007-08-08 15:47:03 Yes some of these are a little silly, but still wanted to find something to post….
- John (Brandon’s Dad) has moved to Las Vegas thus being closer for Brandon (only a 6 hour drive away, rather then cross country).
- Financial stress is getting cleared up some
- We had the apartment complex all sprayed for bugs (I hate the construction going on across the street) bye bye little critters…
