Ventura County Barbie's
2007-02-10 07:51:26
A fellow blogger had posted this, she had receieved it as a forwarded email and blogged it, now im blogging it. I’m sure that it would be alot funnier had I been alot more familiar with these area’s. "Oxnard Barbie " This recently paroled Barbie comes with a 9mm handgun, a Ray Lewis knife, a Chevy with dark tinted windows, and a Meth Lab Kit. This model is only available after dark and must be paid for in cash (preferably small, untraceable bills) unless you are a cop, then we don't know what you are talking about. When I first read the Oxnard Barbie and saw the Meth lab I automatically thought about a “Barstow Barbie”. I never lived in Barstow (thank god) but have driven through it enought times to know about it. "Thousand Oaks Barbie" This princess Barbie is sold only at the Marketplace She comes with an assortment of Kate Spade Handbags, a Lexus SUV, a long-haired foreign dog named Honey and a custom home . Two Buck Chuck
2007-02-10 22:38:11
I have never had it, but I know I can’t expect it to be incredibly good, in fact it probably taste pretty bad. But worth a shot for only $2.00 a bottle. If anything it’s a good cheap way to fill up my 24 bottle wine rack for decorative purposes lol. Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc Taken from Wikipedia Charles Shaw is an American brand of “extreme value” wine produced in California. These wines are currently Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and most recently Shiraz varietals and Valdigue in the style of Beaujolais nouveau, all from California vineyards. They are distributed exclusively by Trader Joe’s grocery stores, and in California sell for $1.99. Because of this, the Charles Shaw wines are affectionately known as Two Buck Chuck . Due to the three-tier system, in other states the price can go up to around $4. As such, the wine is often referred to as “Three Buck Chuck” or “

Powerline Shoes
2007-02-10 17:52:03
Yesterday a interesting subject on why you see shoes on power/phone lines came up. I’ve always wondered about this in the past but was told that it is a sign of a drug house being near by. So I decided to do a search on the internet to see if that came up. It did as well as a few other things. 1. Drugs are for sale in the area 2. That a gang member has died and it’s a way of showing respect. Although for some reason I don’t believe that one so much. As many gang movies as I have seen and a few people I have hung out with in the past, I never heard of that. 3. In one or two places I read that way back when that people that just got done serving in the military would throw up their shoes when they were done.

Hannibal Rising
2007-02-12 07:43:25
Today I wanted to go do something but didn’t know what. I call up Angela to see what she was doing, I was thinking that maybe all the kids could get together and play since it’s been a while. But they were still with dad. Then right when she said she was going to go I came up with the idea of her and I going to see Hannibal if I got someone to watch Brandon for me. So I call up mom and she said yea. Thanks Mom! The movie was good but not nearly as good as I was hoping it would be. I actually got a headache during the movie, and I think it was from being in the dark and watching allot of scenes that were in snow. I can tell you though that Gaspard Ulliel who played Hannibal is surely a good looking guy IMO. I loved his lips specially his upper lip. I just want to suck on it haha.. And he has beautiful eyes as well. So even if the movie wasn’t what I expected at least there was a great looking guy to look at haha Summary written by Bloody-Disgusting.com rea

I've been tagged
2007-02-12 22:57:09
I’ve been tagged by Jenny and OUCH it sure did hurt… The game: Each player of this game starts off with ten weird things or habits or little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged must write in a blog of their own ten weird things or habits or little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you must choose six people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs! Here we go.. 1. I hate being around alot of people or walking into a room with lots of people. 2. Alot of times if I am sitting on my sofa reading stuff on the internet or blogging, I find the neck of my t-shirt in my mouth (don’t ask me why). 3. I get pissed off easily while in traffic if i’m the one driving. So stay out of my way, lol. 4. Before I take a shower I always make sure the toilet seat is down. 5. I hate when I ask if someone wants to do something and they say “well let me see if I have plans first” I thought that I was trying to make pla

Car Accident and the FBI
2007-02-14 05:21:30
Today has to be one of the most stressfull days of all time for me. I probably shouldn’t have let met self be so stressed out but you would probably freak out too had it happen to you and you had no idea why. Today started off as a pretty good day. I completed my order for the Home and Garden Party I had on Saturday night. Did a little shopping at Target with Kerri and the daycare kids. Had some lunch relaxed a little. Then 1:30 comes around, I get in my car to go get my boy from school, then we were going to drop off some shirts that I bought for Angela’s daughter and my two baby sisters for Valentines day. I pull into the parking lot and Im about go down the first isle of parking spots when a SUV pulls out and hits my driver side door. Once again i’m involved in a car accident. Let me count up how many that has been….7 Times i’ve been involved in a car accident in the last 7-8 years and not once has it ever been my fault. That doesnt include t

American Idol's top 24
2007-02-15 07:55:01
I somehow got sucked into watching American Idol this year as I’ve been watching it since the 2nd episode. It all started when Angela called me the Tuesday morning of the second week to mention that it was coming on that night. Later on that night I happen to mention something about it and refered to it as “our” American Idol . That is when she got upset, and said to me, “Ohh no you didn’t” and said that I couldn’t call it “our’s” untill I watched the whole season and I had to vote. So I said OK no problem, she said, “well will see” And now you find me blogging about it. I have also posted some of my thoughts about the first episodes leading up to Hollywood in my forum here. Tonight they narrowed down the contestants to 24, 12 women 12 men. So we have our top 24! * notes my favorites (3 of each) Top 12 Girls: Melinda Doolittle Gina Glocksen* Haley Scarnato Jordin Sparks* Stephanie Edwards Leslie Hunt Ala

2007-02-15 01:26:34
First I would like to say Happy Valentines Day to everyone, specially my family and friends. I’ve had a little bit of a hard time excepting today as it’s my first time being single as an adult on Valentines Day. Everyone is going out to dinner with there special someone’s. Even my single friends are going out for dinner with friends or family. But nope, I don’t have that luxury, don’t get me wrong I’ve tried to find someone who wanted to go to dinner with us but no luck. Today was Lunch on the Law at Brandon’s school. This is our 2nd lunch on the lawn you can see the first one here. Brandon isn’t really smiling here cause I had already taken his picture but he had his eyes closed in the picture and this time he really didn’t want to take the shot lol…

Excuse my dirty tank I need to get an Algae eater to take care of it lol… here you will see my Bamboo Shrimp and his exoskeleton right below him…

A New Purse
2007-02-16 07:32:10
I am sure that it is no suprise that I have no fashion sense, that I don’t own a million pairs of shoes, or have a dozen purses. I have never really cared, and not sure why either. Anyhow.. Today I went to get Brandon some new clothes today so he could wear them tomorrow for his Birthday. I get in line when I realized the time as it was almost time for Brandon to get out of school. Right at that moment everyone decides they want to check out and a huge line grows. While i’m waiting I see some purses a few Tommy Hilfiger which believe it or not were horribly ugly IMO and a few other purses that were just not my style. See I’ve been needing a new purse for a while now. I had received this black and white purse from a friend of Mohcine and I’s a while ago for Christmas and it totally wasn’t my style so I never used it. But about a year or so ago the strap on the purse I did use broke. So I started to use the Black and white one. I’ve been lu

You are a Faithful Experiencer
2007-02-15 21:57:56
I just did this on personaldna.com Their are a few things on here that I wouldn’t agree with but for the most part it’s right on. ABOUT YOU You are an Experiencer Your inquisitive nature, imagination, and hands-on practicality make you an EXPERIENCER. Although you have an active imagination, you also concern yourself with the functional elements of things. You are willing to experiment to find things that work the most efficiently. Getting stuck in certain habits is boring to you—you’d rather find new experiences. Accordingly, experiences are more important to you than objects—you’d rather spend your money and energy on events and adventures than on material things. You like to contemplate a lot of options before making a decision, and you’re willing and able to consider a lot of different angles to problems. You’re open to suggestions, and often rely on others to assess the merit of those suggestions. You have an ability to see the big

Happy Birthday to Me
2007-02-21 09:30:03
Happy Birthday To Me Happy Birthday To Me Happy Birthday Dear Me Happy Birthday To Me LOL ok it’s officially my birthday and now I can attempt to go to bed. Today I’m not sure exactly what is going on, as plans don’t seem to be working out for me in that department these days, But we will see. How old am I, you may be asking? umm I’m “29″, yea that’s it, I’m going to follow Jeni and never be over the age of 29 untill maybe when im turning 40 then i’ll have to change it to 39 to be more realistic. But right before I sign off here I want to show you this shirt…how perfect is this for me? Especially because sometimes I will actually say this. The only bad thing is that the t-shirt will end up costing almost $30.00 after shipping and handling. Maybe I’ll just make my own…. Ok you guys got me i’m now 33….

Lakisha Jones - Next American Idol?
2007-02-22 17:42:49
WOW is all anyone can say after last night’s performance by Lakisha Jones. I got instant goosebumps with her voice. Even if she doesn’t make it all the way (which I would be suprised) i’m sure she will pick up a contract somewhere… Here is her segment and performance…

Treating yourself
2007-02-23 07:34:57
Sometimes when you really want something you just gotta treat yourself to it. I have found myself doing this alot these days. For one I don’t have anyone else to treat me to nice things and I have neglected myself for way too long. On Wednesday (my birthday) after picking up Brandon from school we headed for the mall to hit up Victoria’s Secret to buy my favorite perfume called “Rapture”. I discovered this perfume about the same time that Mohcine and I met which was seven years ago this month. So every year (except the last 2 years) on my birthday he would buy it for me. But now since i’m single I have to now buy it for myself. I grab my perfume and was about to go buy it when one of the attendants tells me that I can buy the matching lotion for an additional $10 instead of the normal $20 so I pickit up it because I love using it as soon as I get out of the shower. Then she hands me a store bag and let’s me know of the freebie I get since I

What is it like to be deaf?
2007-02-23 04:37:41
This is written by a friend of mine named Julie J she emailed it to me after we were chatting so I asked if I could blog it to share it with the rest of my friends. People have asked me. Deaf? Oh, hmm… how do I explain that? Simple: I can’t hear. No, wait… it is much more than that. It is similar to a goldfish in a bowl, Always observing things going on. People talking at all times. It is like a man on his own island among foreigners. Isolation is no stranger to me. Relatives say hi and bye But I sit for 5 hours among them Taking great pleasure at amusing babies or being amused by TV. Reading books, resting, help out with food. Natural curiosity perks up upon seeing great laughter, crying, and anger. Inquiring only to meet with a “Never mind” or “Oh, it’s not important”. Getting a summarized statement of the whole day. I’m supposed to smile to show my happiness. Little do they know how truly miserable I am. People are in control of

I'm Still Here
2007-02-26 07:54:11
Well darn it. I had just posted alot of stuff and i hit a button and bingo it was gone lol…SUCKS! Anyhow just letting you all know that i’m still here. Had a busy but fun weekend. Went to Rochelle’s house for movies and some drinks on friday. Saturday went to my brothers house for a lil party that my sister had for her birthday (we share the same birthday but are not twins). Today though, Im aching so bad my whole upper back is just craving for a nice deep massage. Today I thought was going to be a easy day of just doing some cleaning around the house and laundry. Turns out that was placed on the back burner once again. Such is life when you want to satisify your clients. So I sat and stared at the computer all day. Tomorrow I’ll be doing the same thing as well.

Blake Lewis
2007-02-28 22:22:38
I was just able to watch last nights American Idol (thank god for DVR) and Blake Lewis tore it up. He instantly became my #1 favorite male contestant with Jamiroquai’s Virual Insanity. As soon as the song came on I instantly turned up the sound on the stereo and wanted to dance. I just love that song always have. Loved how me mixed the beat boxing into it way to go Blake Randy and Paula said some great things about him but Simon’s opinion just sucks. Enyoy the video (it’s a lil low on the sound)

Too Sticky!

Removing a bandaid isn’t supposed to give you another boo boo. And unfortunately this is what happened to me today. Normally bandaids never stay on, apparently not so in this case as it didnt’ want to come off and since I made it come off it decided to take some skin with it. Not sure if I will ever just rip my bandaid off again at least not if i’m going to continue using this brand.

A Growing Belly
2007-02-27 17:38:32
When you don’t have anything to blog about because your busy with boring work stuff and yet you still want to blog what do you do? You do what I do and steal post off one of your best friends blog and post it. As you can tell i’m a lil excited about the soon to be newest addition to her family. Taken from the fabulous whereisjennifer.com As time ticks by, my belly gets bigger. Weird stuff happens when your entire center of gravity is relocated. For example, people you don’t know start staring at your midriff ALL THE TIME… then look up at you as if to say “uh HUH, we know what YOU’VE been up to!”. Also, seat selection becomes very important: i.e., sitting straight up is not an enjoyable prospect. As I have quickly learned, that pretty much rules out public transportation and airplanes. I haven’t been grounded since I was but a naughty teenager, but Soenke grounded me - literally (like, no more airplanes until after baby has externalized) after a somewhat harro

Strength with God
2007-03-02 08:04:10
Not going to write much about this but thought I would share a few photos and video clips (w/ my digital cam) from the Mike Hagen Strength Team performance we went to tonight at a local church… Breaking burning bricks Wrapping the iron into 3 rings…1 down 2 more to go This guy broke 5 baseball bats 5 different ways Now here we have some videos Blowing up a hot water bottle (which they say is 43 times thicker then a ballon) till it burst… it burst i believe at 2 minutes and 40 seconds…don’t have a video editor installed right now to shrink down the video.. If memory serves correctly I believe they called this a butterfly break… Running through 2 2×4’s

What a Bummer
2007-03-02 03:29:34
Ohh what a bummer this is. I grabbed my framed print (the one from my home and garden party) today to go hang it up in my room. I put the nails in the wall grab the print hang it and that is when I noticed a huge gash in it. So now it will be sent back on Monday to get a new one sent to me. For something that cost $160.00 it better be perfect.

Melinda Doolittle
2007-03-01 18:36:05
My favorite performance from last night’s episode of American Idol is My Funny Valentine by Melinda Doolittle . If it comes down to choosing between Lakisha Jones and Melinda Doolittle it would be a very difficult choice. Nice to see that this backup singer has finally taken the few steps up to center stage to make it to stardom.

Day at the Bay
2007-03-04 20:35:22
Yesterday the family all made it down for some time together and lunch at San Diego Mission Bay A local Blue Heron hanging out with us Brandon and his best friend Jorge (English translation George for those who don’t know) Telmera and Ashlee exploring the rocks Richard trying not to fall in One of many bridges in at the San Diego Bay I really need to buy a tripod so I can get clear shots of the moon. It was so beautiful. Those are palm trees in front of it if your wondering what the black lines are.
