New Tutorials 2008-03-06 05:00:00 Hi everybody,Yesterday we published several new Video Tutorials
on our Youtube portal (www.youtube.com/isensetutorials) . The videos cover the packages "Organizer", "Collaboration" and several other aspects. They are directed at end users who want to learn about the interface and how to use the modules. The scripts have been translated already and as soon as Katie comes back from her vacation we will start the production of the English version.Unfortunately the video quality on youtube is pretty bad, so we will set up our own streaming server soon.Feel free to comment on the videos in our new forum (see previous blog entry).Cheers,Johannes

No title 2008-02-15 14:21:00 As you know we are very busy working on a lot of new features and tools. One project I am currently working on (besides the new homepage) is the iXML DevCenter. As you know iXML is a XML-based programming language for i-sense, which enables you to customize your whole i-sense system without changing a single line of code of the original application code. This way your system does not only keep its consistency for updates and new features, but it is also much easier for you to create extensions and individual workflows in a very convenient way. iXML offers you a wide range of customization options – going from individual printout templates to customized workflows and data services.Yeah, I can almost see your shining eyes – you want to have it! :-)However, as I want to do a perfect job w
i-sense GLOBAL PARTNER NETWORK on its way... 2008-02-04 15:57:00 Finally, our GLOBAL PARTNER NETWORK is carved into stone! The brochures have been sent to all companies that have approached us concerning our partner program in the last couple of month. The official launch is scheduled for mid/end of February when the new i-sense homepage will step on stage ;-)

Great success! 2008-01-27 10:34:00 Now all of us are back home and in my opinion it is possible to say that the weekend was a great success. My weekend started at 05:15 on saturday and Darius and me headed for Grainau. After having a breakfast at Peter's place and the arrival of Johannes we had a small walk to the lift (Ben said 500m but actually it was like 5,000m ;)) The weather was just a dream with lots of sun, perfect snow and the pists were not too crowded. It couldn't get any better. To top it we had a small trip to the summit with an excellent view (200km). After having a superb and big lunch we headed for Garmisch where we had some drinks at Peaches. All in all I can say that I had a great time and that I'm looking forwardto next year. Read more:Great
i-sense goes skiing! 2008-01-22 04:26:00 Seems like all the people from i-sense are packed with work. Maybe thats because of the new homepage which is to be out soon. *hinthint*But believe it or not, we are going skiing this weekend. On saturday we will spread chaos over the piste at the Zugspitze. On sunday we will do a little hiking through the beautiful scenery near Grainau, the hometown of the founders. :) So if you want to meet us, you will find us on the top of the mountains with a chilled wheat beer, relaxing from stress...
A first glimpse on the video tutorials 2007-12-18 05:35:00 Today I want to present you the first results of my effort on the video
tutorials. Since I did not have a clue on how to create a video tutorial in the beginning, I am quite satisfied with the outcome.Unfortunately for all our English speaking friends it is only available in German until now (We're working on the English Version of course ;)Lean back and enjoy the show:

Final presentation of student project 2007-12-17 02:31:00 Today is the big day! Johannes, Tassilo, Darius and me are giving our final presentation
of our projectstudy at the chair for Information, Organisation and Management. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about: the four of us started a project with i-sense at the beginning of August. Since then much has happened. And this is what we're presenting today. If anybody is interested in the results then come to Munich and join us at 4.30pm. ;)I think the only problem the last few days was that all of us were a little under time pressure thus our work for i-sense came a little short. Especially with the new version r2.010 and website coming soon! Watch out for it, you won't be disappointed... Read more:Final
i-sense and the chambers of secrets 2007-12-10 10:34:00 Yeah, scrolling through our blog it seems the guys at i-sense are only occupied playing table soccer and making Christmas parties! :-)However, I have to admit that this is my fault, as I told everybody not to reveal anything from our current developments, as I wanted them to be a surprise! We currently have a lot of things going on – exiting things (like financing and implementing new features) as well as boring things (like correcting and translating our new documentation material - which is what Katie is doing on the photo). So don’t wonder if nothing is revealed from our chambers of secrets! You are the first to know if anything new comes out! :-)
Tablesoccer 2007-12-06 01:53:00 At the Christmas Dinner, we decided to start a tablesoccer tournament in order to identify who is the real tablesoccer-king at i-sense!From today on, matches start and will last until Christmas Eve: everybody has to play both on his own and in a team of 2 so that the player who won most of the matches will be tablesoccer-king in the end...and in addition, perhaps there is some kind of crown as a reward :-)So, stay tuned and watch for the first results!
Release 2.009 finally out 2007-11-29 01:58:00 As Ben announced yesterday in the forum, the new release of i-sense (2.009) was uploaded yesterday evening on our server. You can now update your running platforms using the update function in the system settings module. As you can see on the photo, Ben had quite a hard time resolving all the issues that came with the major changes of release 2.008. Especially the significant changes in the framework, which is now fully AJAX based, led to some bugs in several modules, which were now resolved in this current release. You can read the list of changes – as usual – in our release notes, which you can find on our downloads page. Read more:Release
Christmas staff party closing in... 2007-11-27 04:05:00 One week to go and you have the extraordinary opportunity to meet us! Where you ask? Well, on 4th of December we have our Christmas
staff party together with the people from CMS at the "Münchner Lach- und Schiessgesellschaft". Personally I never heard of that before thus I'm even more excited. If you're interested in meeting the people who are constantly losing playing table soccer, be there, or be squared. Read more:closing

Video Tutorials 2007-11-25 03:37:00 Since Peter already mentioned it in his last post, I wanted to give you a short update on the progress of the video tutorials. Until now we came up with a general structure for the video tutorials and wrote scripts for video tutorials explaining the functionality of the organizer and collaboration packages. The first Audio and Video files have been recorded last week, so now I have to figure out the best way to post-process the material we have gathered. As soon as we have the first version ready, we will open a thread in our forum to gather your feedback and wishes for future material. Lost in translation 2007-11-24 03:25:00 We are currently interviewing new employees in order to have more capacities to create our documentations in both German AND English – I know you guys who are not from Germany suffered a lot from that. However, until the end of the year there will be lot more documentation material and also some first-grade video tutorials, Johannes is currently working on. Until that you should just post your questions in our forum, where we will gladly answer them.
Humiliation per excellence! 2007-11-23 05:53:00 A fantastic triumph in three sets! With 10:1, 10:3 and 10:6 the working students humiliated the CEO and CTO playing table soccer. At first it looked like a victory for the management in the third set after going ahead with 2:6 but we didn’t fuck around too long slammed eight balls in a row in the goal winning 10:6. Quote CTO: “I’m depressed now!”
Planning the new website 2007-11-21 08:50:00 At the moment we put a lot of effort in the re-design of our third website
. The new one will be much more advanced in means of design, information and process management as the current one. For this purpose we are also implementing an own framework, which we will use in future for our non-i-sense web-frontends. On the photo you see Christian when we were collecting some ideas for the new framework. Currently I am quite busy with the new GUI layout, but I hope that I will get some support by Sabrina when she has more time for our internal projects. Our current schedule says that we will ship the new homepage at the end of December so we will have a lot of work to finish this goal in time.
i-sense Kicker-Challenge 2007 2007-11-21 08:24:00 Ok, now the challenge begins... we are proud to present the i-sense Kicker-Challenge
2007! I must admit I don’t know if a kicker challenge is really such a good idea as I am constantly loosing, but still I think we will have a lot of fun especially when challenging our neighbours from CMS IT-Consulting. I will keep you updated on the scores! Wish me luck! ;-)
The new blog is online! 2007-11-21 03:52:00 Woah, finally our new blog is online
! Here we will keep you up to date with our current occupation, our future plans and how it is like to work at i-sense.Looking forward to get your comments! :-)

i-sense in chinese? yes! 2008-03-26 10:16:00 Ni hao everybody, just wanted to make public that during my stay in Taipei I managed to find a guy who is eager to translate i-sense into chinese (traditional I think). Maybe this helps to open up this big market with lots of need for the best groupware on the market. Btw, he thinks that i-sense is a "very excellent web application". Doesn't that make us proud? ;)I hope that the new language version will be availabe with the next major update.Special thanks to Eric at this point for translating.

Home sweet home, 2008-05-26 06:26:00 after desperate months of sitting in the basement we finally made it. Last week we enjoyed our first glass of prosecco in our new office. The new office space is quite luxurious. 200m², 7 rooms, 2 restrooms and a tiny kitchen. Of course some small details are still missing: whiteboards lying on the floor, plants in the middle of the room and until now no pictures on the walls, but hey: "We feel go
