end of christmas break 2006
1970-01-01 00:59:59
It's a brand new year, and I wish everyone here a happy new year!Of course, a new year means a whole lot of new things will be started. "The year's plan is set on New Year's", right? Actually, that's a quote that I got from an anime that I was watching a while ago, Bottle Fairy. I'm not sure how old it is, but it's funny and cute. XP Anyway, you ca see that the biggest change here is that I have a new look for the blog. For New Year's sake, I decided to change that look of the blog. It's a little darker than the previous one, but it's still good. It gives off an old worn-out feeling.Linking back to the title of this post, it is now the end of the break, and that means it's time to revisit the homework that I've neglected for these past two weeks. It's school time again, and guess what? Exams are in three weeks! Scary, come to think of it. >

exam schedule
1970-01-01 00:59:59
With a beginning of a new year, also marks the end of the first semester. With exams closing in and projects piling up, it is sure stressful. So let me start from the beginning. There is no more math tests (if I remember correctly). Everything is done except for the final exam which is the Monday after next. There's a mock trial case that we're doing early next week. My case is about drink and drive. I'm not worried, since I have a good team to work with. The exam is a bit early though, next Friday. Economics is the one with the most work, with a scrapbook due this Friday, an exam essay next Thursday, and the final exam on Monday after next (same day as Math). Finally there's Accounting with 3-4 more chapter quizzes and the final exam on Wednesday after next (last exam).Basically that's my schedule for the next two to three weeks. Of course, there's also booking a date for our club event in February.

new possibilities
2008-03-08 19:45:00
I think I've mentioned that I like change. Well, sometimes. So here comes a little change. I'm considering moving my blog to WordPress.com. Actually, I already did, thanks to WordPress's import ability. It's great, but now I'm pondering, should I start fresh with the WordPress blog, or should I import and continue on? We'll see.

updates
2008-03-06 22:09:00
It seems the last time that I had updated was... Feb.10. Wow, I can't believe the month is going by so fast. It's March Break, again. Funny, I can't seem to remember where I was last March Break. But I'm sure I had less things to do. This week is going to be hectic, because of all the work I have from school. Listening assignment from Music, oral essay from English, math homework to catch

luck needed
2008-02-10 10:04:00
Wish me luck, because I'm going to be gone for two days to participate in the DECA Provincials! Really excited since I'm going to be staying in downtown for two nights. Kind of feeling bad having to miss two days of school for it, though. Oh well, I'll be back on Tuesday night to tell you all about it! ^^

no matter where we are going
2008-02-03 12:50:00
it wasn't that long ago that I watched "High School Musical 2". Actually, I have it stored in my iPod (because it was a test to try how to put videos in my iPod). Anyways, there's a song in there that I really love. It seems to be a love song between Troy and Grabriella, but I think it's a pretty nice song for graduation. Here it is, "Everyday". "Once in a lifetime means there’s no second

odds and ends

Yay! My exams are done! I already know my mark for Economics, and I know I bombed the Advanced Functions exam. I can't believe the teachers wrote a question like that! It asked about a ferris wheel that started from the TOP! Where in the world can you find that? So much for being practical mathematics... I swear, they only did that to trick us... T.T Anyways, I wasn't that confident on

busy week
2008-01-14 21:35:00
It is yet another busy week. The Data Management Culminating Project was due today, and it literally took the whole weekend. Was I glad hen it was all done! ^^ Tomorrow is the Game Fair for Data Management and Seminar for Economics. Wednesday is the presentation on the Culminating Project and Advanced Functions Quiz. Thursday is the Accounting Chapter 12 quiz and Economics quiz. Friday is

almost back to school
2008-01-01 14:14:00
Sadly, by this time next week, we'll be back in school. Exams are around the corner, which also marks the halfway point of the last year of high school. Quite scary, if you think about it. I haven't done as much work as I hope I would. I applied to university, which means that the next few months will be as hectic as ever. Filling in information sheets, studying, doing projects, and a bunch

statements
2007-12-26 23:28:00
I'm two-sided. I care a lot about what my friends think of me. I don't care as much of what my parents think of me. I get upset when something is wrong. I'm happy again once something good happens. I'm constantly afraid that my friends don't like me. I'm constantly insecure. I'm happy when I'm around friends. I'm sad when I can't feel my friends are beside me. My emotions go up and down like a

rant about a wireless provider
2007-12-23 22:22:00
Yes, Rogers Wireless. They weren't so bad when I was just using the Internet service and Rogers Cable, but problems start arising when I started using the cellphone provider. They completely sabotaged the Sony Ericsson phone. Numerous of deleted functions and unnecessary applications than slows the whole phone down. One thing that I can't forgive is that they disable the ability to use music

christmas break
2007-12-21 23:13:00
After a long, hard week of quizzes, tests, and summatives, the Christmas break is finally here. Two weeks of relaxation. Hopefully, I can get enough rest. This week was so stressful I could hardly stand being sane. Tests followed one another, and projects were continuously due. Teachers really shouldn't cram everything into the last week before the holidays. So what am I going to do in the

holiday time
2007-12-05 22:05:00
It's Christmas again. I forgot how much I was looking forward to Christmas in the summer, but now that it's almost here, I wished it wasn't. I always feel a little down during the holiday times. It's just the way I am. School marks are falling, so I'm actually getting scared of university now. Questions that were small are getting bigger now. What if I don't make it into a university? What

new camera
2007-11-25 15:41:00
At last, I got my very own camera. It cost about $230 with the memory card and the case. Hopefully, I'll be able to take more pictures. I was always reluctant to take the camera with me when I go out, because the old camera is too big. Now that this problem is solved, I should be ablt to take a lot more pictures! By the way, this is the camera that I bought.

to take revenge or not
2007-11-21 22:07:00
Everyone has heard of the famous quote from Hamlet, "To be or not to be, that is the question.". But here, I'm saying this, "To take revenge or not to take revenge, that is the question.". There are many times when I thought of taking revenge, of doing things to people that people have done to me. Sadly, I can never set my mind to do it. In this case, it's a good thing, because the things

change of scene
2007-11-20 22:51:00
As you can see, I changed my layout for my blog again. I can't remember how long it's been there. This one looks pretty nice. It matches the season, Autumn. Anyhow, I always felt some resistance in changing layouts, because that means I have to recode everything from the beginning to have it look the same as the one before. This time, however, I decided to leave some things out. The

something new about something old
2007-11-18 20:51:00
Something came up for something that happened a long time ago. Not such a great memory, but I don't think I can get to where I am without it. It leaves me wondering about things that I should've done. Would it have turned out differently if I handled it a different way? Maybe listening to other's opinions and suggestions aren't that bad after all...

life update
2007-11-13 22:39:00
Been very busy with, well, everything. Something in my life came up, which I didn't expect to, so hopefully that will be over with soon. School is growing increasingly hard and intense. Midterms are coming this week, and I have been stressing. There are many people who are dropping classes, so I expect class size to be smaller. I'm not saying it's a bad thing or a good thing. It's just sad,

17th birthday
2007-10-18 22:02:00
It's a bit late, but I haven't had the time to actually post on my birthday, so I'm posting now. Looking back at this blog, I seem to have been posting for about a year. Actually, it's more than that, since I had another blog before I opened this one. I can't believe I kept blogging for so long. It may not seem long for others, but this is one of the things that I have kept with for the

wishlist for university
2007-10-05 19:52:00
I have gone to a point where it's time to think about university. Choosing which university is of course one of the most important choices, but there's something lingering at the back of my mind... Yep! My computer! Although my dad promised I can only buy it when I get to university, I'm already on the look out for the perfect laptop for next year. With the thought of living away from home,

the work keeps rolling in
2007-09-23 20:30:00
Wow, I haven't updated for so long! Sorry that I abandoned here for a while. School has been so hectic that everything just went out of control. I can't promise that I can update as often as before. The fact that I barely come back home right after school is such a bother. It can't be helped, I guess. I need to be active this year. I want to get the most out of high school before I leave

No title
2007-09-11 16:24:00
After three weeks of school, I'm finally at a point where I feel the start of school is over. I'm good on all my courses, and I joined all the clubs that I intended to join this year. However, I'm thinking of changing my plans. Before last year ended, I planned to join Ambassador, Jazz Choir, Music Council, and Business Club. I'm okay with all of them, except for Jazz Choir. It just didn't

thoughts of grade 12
2007-09-02 16:51:00
I've gone through three days of Grade 12, and it isn't as bad as I thought. I get all the things that are being taught in school, so I imagine that I wouldn't do bad. There's a lot to do, though, that's for sure. So to get you updated, I have Data Management, Economics, Accounting, and Advanced Functions. Aside from classes, I also plan on joining clubs. Things that I have in mind are Jazz

job is done
2007-08-26 15:57:00
Well, it's hard to believe, but I finished my first job! I was so excited when I got my first paycheck! ^^ It felt really good to hold that check in my hands. On the other side of things, I'm really going to miss camp. I had bad times, sure, but there were many times as well. I met many great people and made a lot of new friends. Hopefully I'll be able to keep in touch with them. I have

two weeks and a half
2007-08-08 18:25:00
There's only two and a half weeks left of summer. Pretty soon, I'll be going into one of the most important year of my life. Ooohh... Scary... I think this summer is great. I learned things that I never would've learned if I didn't go to work. I met different people and developed different views on things. Most of all, I made great friends whom I will miss over the year. Thank god for

sorry
2007-08-06 15:38:00
Came across a really great song. Just thought that I would post it up. I've never heard of the group that had sung this song. The ballad, strangely, sings out my feelings... By the way, the song title "Gomenasai" means "I'm sorry " in Japanese. What I thought wasn't mine In the light Wasn't one of a kind, A precious pearl When I wanted to cry I couldn't cause I Wasn't allowed Gomenasai for

renovation of a sort
2007-08-05 21:22:00
After several heated discussions about my room, my family finally decided to repaint it. It is now the colour of a lovely lilac from BEHR. Also, I replaced my big grey desk with two desks: a working desk and a computer desk. It makes a little "L" shape right beside my bed. Quite cool if you ask me. :] Aside from that, it's civic holiday tomorrow, so that means one day off from work! ^^

last holiday
2008-03-21 13:07:00
Here comes the last holiday of the school year. For me, anyways. The last one should be Victoria Day in May, but I'm going to New York with my school, so that doesn't count. This is the last time for me to actually clean up my room and catch up on homework. If you looked at my room right now, it's looks as if a hurricane just came through. Also, my homework is not really caught up. So there

the end of the last holiday
2008-03-25 00:16:00
And so ends the 'last' holiday of the school year. I can truthfully say that I was NOT productive during the break. I know I'm regretting not doing anything now, but there's no turning back. So whatever. For an university update. I have now narrowed my choices to Wilfrid Laurier University and University of Waterloo, both located in Waterloo, Ontario. As for preference, they are both equal.

that time again
2008-04-18 23:22:00
It's the end of April, and that means summer is coming. This means a few things to me. One, my last year of high school is almost over; two, it's time to look for a summer job; three, it's time for nosebleeds. Yes, that's what I said, nosebleeds. Once in a while, I would have these constant nosebleeds in the summer. By constant, I'm referring to having like two per week, and lasts for about
