SX4 is the latest in a series of possible comeback cars from a company most Americans are only dimly aware of.
The little car is available in more varieties than many bigger sellers, offering among other things a wagon/hatchback variant and all wheel drive; but more than anything, it should firmly put memories of the late Samurai to rest.
The sole powerplant is a 2.0 liter dual-cam engine with 143 horsepower (5,800 rpm) and 136 lb-feet of torque (3,500), a rev-happy engine that is very slow off the line, but feels sprightly once the car is moving, thanks partly to a four-speed automatic that downshifts at any provocation (the base transmission is more enjoyable five-speed manual). That automatic often seemed confused because of its tendency to drop a gear with even a light tap of the gas, but it also avoided the “rubber-band” feel of many small-car automatics (including that of the Mazda6).

’s all-new high-performance all-wheel-drive sedan, based on the Mazda6 sedan. The MAZDASPEED6 comes in two trim levels: Sport and Grand Touring. With looks very similar to the Mazda6, the MAZDASPEED6 has an all-new front and rear fascia, hood, front fenders and taillights.
The hood sticks out to accommodate the intercooler and a hood scoop has been integrated to feed outside air into the engine. Extended side skirts, twin tailpipes, a lip spoiler and lightweight 18-inch alloy wheels with high-performance tires help complete the aerodynamic look to the body. The MAZDASPEED6 rides lower than a standard MAZDA6 and the double-wishbone front and rear multi-link suspension setups have been tweaked to further enhance handling.

Toyota MR2 2007-12-12 05:02:53 The end is nigh for Toyota
's plucky MR2 mid-engined roadster. Already a goner in left-hand-drive markets, a final batch of 300 units is being knocked up for the UK.
Each example features custom leather and Alcantara suede-effect upholstery and unique series numbering sown into the seat backs. Just five body colours are on offer: silver, black, sable, red and blue.
Headline specifications and performance numbers, for those who have forgotten, include 138bhp from the mid-mounted four pot lump, zero to 60mph in eight seconds flat and a Vmax of 131mph. The MR2 TF300 is on sale now for a mere £18,015. That's a premium of £865 over a boggo MR2. Toyota has not announced any plans to replace the MR2.

has presented a new emblem, a Genesis logo in a black hexagon, between two wings. The good news is that this will come only for Koreans and Japanese.
Hyundai unveiled new engines available for Genesis line.
So, for the top model we will have the V8 engine which produces 375 hp and the base model will have V6 engines of 3.3 and 3.8 liter. RWD Genesis will have its premier at Detroit Show in January, 2008.

The current version has either a 160 or a 200 hp four-cylinder power plant, with the latter coming standard in the Type S. The more powerful engine makes its horses partly through an advanced valve timing technology, which shifts into high performance mode at 6,000 rpm. The result is a kick in the pants similar to that of a turbocharger suddenly spooling up.

The good news is that the RSX has superb handling and strong acceleration, especially if you are already running the engine fast, but it is easier to shift and to manage than many other sports cars. The bad news is that the engine is loud and raucous, not unlike the early Neon engines, and that makes you want to avoid going up to the speeds where the RSX really does its stuff. In everyday traffic, sprints that run up to 6,000 rpm are also relatively rare.
