, and I love their legacy. But I am not enjoying a lot of their recent covers. Why?Because there is an obvious flair for adding photoshop to all their covers and artwork. From gradient back drops, to proportions that just don't match, there is a plethora of reasons to hate the latest and what some think is the greatest from the Marvel Universe. The cast of Characters at Marvel's disposal is huge, so why is it that they push these covers and comics with such bad writing, horrible covers, and even worse interiors? The Dark Knight Movie HD Trailer 2007-12-16 22:36:00 The new Batman movie is going to rock so hard, it's going to shake the foundation of the Batman movie franchise and make believers out of all the naysayers out there. & Deadpool #48 reaches into a brand of primal drawing and painting that depicts the true nature of the interior storyline and pages. I would buy this issue just for the cover, it's nuts, it's awesome, it's great! This rivals what's going on in the Hellblazer covers that I enjoy so much. Will the interior live up to it though?Nope....although not horrible....yet.Oh man, they ruined it for me. Too bad.This had so much promise based on the cover alone, but I'd still buy it. Scalped Vol. 1 Cover & Interior Pages 2007-12-07 12:38:00 Vertigo is pushing the envelope with this release, and I'm excited. Scalped Vol. 1 features a great cover and the interior pages hype me up a little, although it's not exactly pc in any way shape or form. I am surprised that DC (A Time Warner Company) is allowed to not only name their comic in this way, but allowed to publish such a gruesome comic and cover. I'm sure this is going to raise protests, but it is really a good story and if you're new to it, check out Vol. 1 Here for 9.99, and it is well worth it. The interiors, the cover, the story, just as good as you can expect from Vertigo, which is doing a good job although not promoting it as heavily as some other brands. 's latest opus doesn't really do much in the way of artistic prowess outside of the cover. The cover denotes some cool undertones, and since I live in the Northwest, Sasquatch

Wolverine vs. Captain America Blows 2007-11-29 17:57:00 Wolverine Origins had me excited for a while. Then I heard that Marvel was teaming up a storyline where CaptainAmerica
and Wolverine meet and do battle! I was overjoyed when I saw the first preview covers, as I am a big fan of Wolverine and the Captain, but this was just sad. The front cover of the latest edition of Wolverine Origins is so rad, it has a great artistic feel to it, then it drops off into some cell shaded, nine year old cartoon that leaves very little value to the art and story presented there in. See, it's not that I hate Marvel, I really love comic books but the artwork is as key to me as the story line. I love the idea of Wolverine and Captain America

Proof that Daredevil Is A Pimp 2007-12-26 08:07:00 Before Hollywood ruined my favorite comic book character by casting Ben Affleck and some other heart throb, and still managing to make over a hundred million dollars at the box office, Daredevil was one cool character. Despite his lame movie beginnings, and the stupid Elektra spin off, his character is still one of the best things in comics going today. Even though some of the interiors are horrible to look at in the Marvel Knights editions, I still enjoy the covers which have never let me down. But this is about Daredevil and how much of a pimp he is. In this featured comic, Daredevil #274 we are treated to a cool cover, but my point is driven home by the first page of this amazing comic book with a cheesy intro line.That's right folks. There you have Daredevil being fed by a blond haired woman who happens to be busty, and Daredevil, full suit, is relaxing. Wow.Daredevil, despite being blind, is still getting women.
