Jaqua Cocoa Buttercream Bodycare 2007-12-15 06:59:45
This post is already almost edible, isn’t it? That’d be due to the extreme decadence of Jaqua products - their luscious body creams and shower gels look and smell good enough to eat. Of course, this is inadvisable, since they probably don’t actually taste that great and then you’d miss out on actually getting to use them!
One of the newest Jaqua scents is the delectable CocoaButtercream
- a twist on their original, wildly popular Pink Buttercream product line. If you (or a giftee on your Holiday shopping list) is into foody or gourmet fragrances and body products, you just hit the gold mine.
Using natural and delicious sounding ingredients like cocoa butter, marshmallow extract, and macadamia nut oil - to name a few - the Jaqua body care products let you indulge in a way that’s actually good for you - and anyone who gets close enough to smell or touch you!
The Jaqua Cocoa Buttercream products start at $8 and include body butters, hand lotions, body wa
Blogsvertise: Your Opinions Pay 2007-12-15 06:25:41 If you’re internet-savvy enough to be reading a blog dedicated to web finds, you probably have a blog - or have at least thought about starting one. With an ever-growing community of readers and authors, it can be very gratifying to send your thoughts soaring into cyberspace. We all have our own thoughts & opinions; why not share them? Why not review that new movie, restaurant, or product? Even better, why not get paid for doing so?
Services like Blogsvertise are taking the internet community by storm lately. The idea is simple and easy: monetize your blog by writing posts about certain products, websites, or services; get paid for providing word-of-mouth advertising. Don’t worry, your reviews & posts aren’t required to be sycophantic shilling, either. The Blogsvertise FAQ clearly states that you can write both positive and negative reviews about your assigned topic; no squashing your freedom of speech here.

SmartShopper Grocery List Organizer 2007-12-12 23:52:46
You know the drill. You get to the grocery store, start wandering around, and realize you’ve completely forgotten half the things you set out to buy. You would’ve made a list, but you lost the magnetic notepad you usually keep on the fridge when you needed something to keep score on when you played Scrabble last week. So you stand there dumbly in the middle of the produce section, willing yourself to remember - what was that one thing that I absolutely needed the other day? The thing that I knew was really important, that I needed before anything else? Why can’t I remember something so simple?
The SmartShopper Voice-Activated Grocery
List (SS250) is a godsend, sent from electronics heaven to make sure you’re never put in such an embarassing situation again. You mount it on either the wall or your fridge, and when you think of something you need - you simply say it aloud to the SmartShopper. The small wonder then records the item, and once you’re ready to Read more:Organizer

IKEA Spöka Ghost Lights 2007-11-25 07:32:55
I’ve always loved kitschy little Halloween goodies - for example, I wore my orange pumpkin slippers year-round until they wore out sometime in May. I figure, if it’s adorable enough, why limit it to October? These awesome “Spöka” lights from IKEA definitely fit the bill off “too damned cute to hide down in the basement until next October”.
The pastel ghosties come in three colors (red is tall & skinny; indigo is a medium build; green is short and squat). The light is turned on and off by pressing the ghost’s head, which just adds to the overwhelming cuteness these little Kirby-esque creatures add to your home… and at only $14.99 a pop, you can easily populate your house with enough to become a regular Boo Manor!
Thus far, the Spöka lamps seem to be exclusive to IKEA’s Children’s Lighting department. Let me know if you find them anywhere else! Read more:Ghost

Holiday CD Decorating Kit 2007-11-20 05:05:51
Mix CDs are a super popular gift, and for good reason. They’re deeply personal, custom-tailored to the recipient’s tastes, and show that the giver cares enough to dedicate time and energy to the person who is on the receiving end. But most mix CDs have one glaring problem: they tend to be ugly. Boring, plain, however you want to describe it - a silver disk with nothing but a sharpied “HoLiDaY mIx 2007″ (or worse, a CD-R brand logo) is not cute. There’s no holiday cheer!
Leave it to the masters of cute, Fred Flare, to solve this conundrum. Their holiday-themed CD decorating kit will turn your mixes from blah to brilliant in the blink of an eye. The kit includes a festive assortment of sleeves, labels, and stickers that will make your gift the hit of the season. It’s about time that our solid standby of DIY music got a tinseled-out update.
The kit is available from Fred Flare for $16.95, blank CDs not included. Read more:Holiday

World Food Programme Feed Bag 2007-12-22 22:32:47 A bag for a good cause — the World
Food Programme
Feed Bag is modeled after the grain bags used to deliver food to schools in need around the world. A sturdy reversible bag, made out of natural burlap and cotton, it is a tangible way to make a difference in the fight against world hunger. Every World Food Programme Feed Bag sold will feed one child for a whole year in school. School feeding acts as a magnet, dramatically increasing enrollment, sometimes by as much as 100 percent. It also improves performance at school; children concentrate better on a full stomach. Girls who go to school not only marry later but have half as many children than illiterate women. Furthermore, these children are healthier and better educated. School feeding is a simple but effective way to beat hunger and poverty.
The FEED Project is a partnership between the United Nations World Food Program and Lauren Bush, WFP Honorary Spokesperson. World Food Programme Feed Bag are available exclusively at Amazo
Rawhide "Candy Canes" For Dogs 2007-12-19 20:52:48
I’ve got two dogs at home who are very spoiled - I can’t resist buying them new treats and toys, especially when they’re as clever and cute as these doggie “candy canes” from pet supply powerhouse JB Pet. Made from your choice of either compressed, colored rawhide or chew pigskin - either way sure to be a hit with your dogs (or any animal-loving friends you may have). The rawhide ones are attractive enough that you could even use them as a Christmas tree decoration - um, until your dog realizes what’s up, that is.
Ranging from $1.99 (for the individual canes) to $14.99 (for an entire box, packaged just like people candy canes!), these are an affordable and creative way to share some Christmas cheer with your favorite canines. Available (along with plenty other awesome doggie Holiday goodies) at JB Pet. Read more:Candy

Freeze-Dried Astronaut Ice Cream 2007-12-24 13:14:03 Science museums are really cool places with tons of wonderful learning experiences available to the public. You can walk through giant heart models, see dazzling laser displays, even gape at actual moon landers. But let’s face it, the best part of every science museum is normally in a bin near the cash register: freeze dried ice cream. Four of the tastiest words in the English language. But thanks to ThinkGeek.com, you can now get the ice cream astronauts eat without the risk of accidentally learning anything. Yay!
ThinkGeek.com sells the famous freeze-dried ice cream at $2.99 a pop, and offers three flavor choices: Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, and my personal favorite, Neopolitan. Space age strawberry is just so delicious! You also get 50 “Geek Points” for each ice cream bar that you buy, which adds up quickly (the geek points are redeemable for some seriously cool things, including the USB Snowbot which is now sitting on my desktop thanks to Geek P Read more:Cream

Zune 30GB Digital Media Player 2007-11-15 22:36:30 The highly-rated Zune
is one of the most coveted items out there this holiday season, and with good reason - it does almost everything. Music, games (the Zune is compatible with your Xbox 360, letting you create your own soundtracks for your favorite games), videos, photos, podcasts, radio - all in the palm of your hand. Adding and sharing media is also a snap with the Zune’s wireless transfer system (you can both download and send files without the need of any sort of cables).
The 30GB model holds up to 7,500 songs, or 25,000 pictures, or 100 hours of video. How much does all this goodness cost? Well, it usually retails for $249.99, but Amazon is currently running a fantastic promo and has them on sale from $133.95 (brown) to $159.95 (white) - yes, that’s an average saving of $100 off. Seriously.
All five colors are currently available at Amazon. Read more:Digital
