In last few days a picture of Progamer’s week magazine cover appeared on internet. It is depicting luxurious Mercedes Benz with a name “Need for speed: Luxury
cars”. Is it really the new Need for speed game or just bad joke? According to official information, nothing like this has been announced.

Hennessey has finally revealed official details about its upcoming Venom
GT supercar concept, including this teaser shot whose front end shares a striking resemblance with the Lotus Elise. Penned by Brit designer Steve Everitt, the Venom GT will feature the Viper Venom’s 1,000hp twin-turbo V10 engine and a light weight mid-engine chassis weighing less than 1,225kg. Power will be sent through to the rear wheels via a 6-speed transmission or optional sequential gearbox. This means the final version will have a power to weight ratio of just 1.225kg per hp, which Hennessey claims will see the car reach 100km/h from rest in just 2.5 seconds and up to 300km/h in around 14 seconds.

Codenamed W197, the Mercedes
SLC is the successor of the legendary 300 SL ‘Gullwing’ and it will probably be one of the coolest cars around when it will be presented, probably in 2010. We can’t say much about the car, as it’s heavy camouflaged and the prototype is using the body of a Dodge Viper.

The Lamborghini
Reventón is a supercar that debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. It will be the most powerful and expensive Lamborghini to date, costing one million euro. The official press release states that only 20 will be built, but it was later reported that the total number would be 100. The exterior styling was inspired by the F-22 Raptor. Although the exterior is partially new, almost the entire mechanics (including the engine) are taken directly from the Murciélago LP640.

A blonde was speeding in a 60km per hour zone when a police car hailed her down. The police officer who walked up to the car also happened to be a blonde. She asked for the blonde’s driver’s license. The driver searched frantically in her purse for a while and finally said to the blonde policewoman

Irritated, the blonde cop said, “You dummy, it’s got your picture on it!”
The blonde driver frantically searched her purse again and found a small, rectangular mirror down at the bottom. She held it up to her face and said, “Aha! This must be my driver’s license”, then handed it to the blonde policewoman.
The blonde cop looked in the mirror, handed it back to the driver and said, “OK, you’re free to go. I wish you had told me straight away you were a police officer too, we could have avoided all of this.”

.
The ball as well as the opponent players are tracked in a vision system — a downward looking webcam. All the main processing is done on an 800 MHz pentium 3 PC in Java, using the Java Media Framework. Once the processing is finished, the PC issues commands to a PIC microcontroller across a serial line. The microcontroller then issues commands to servos to move or kick.
If you want to build your own table like this, count with costs about $500. According to the video, computer is a little bit slower player and it seems to me like you can beat him 10:0 easily. But who know, the guys will maybe upgrade the software eventually and the computer will be unbeatable.

Some people can ask: is it really a valuable success or just a normal phenomenon? I have started many websites but none of them was so successful in first 14 days. What does it mean for the future: more effort devoted to the development of this web. The first objective is to keep this site growing. There are many indicators of this growth: I can look at the number of people subscribed to our RSS feed (now 11 regular readers), find out how many backlinks lead to this page or just observe the number of unique visitors each day.
