Last year in Moalboal 2007-12-01 17:50:00 Last year, I went to Moalboal with my son. It was his first time to be there ever and my first time to return in a very long while. The Moalboal that exists in my mind is far different from the one I found. There are more people there now, more stores and the houses were more expensive. They had reclaimed a portion of the shore where I used to play as a young boy and turned it into a market which might be a push for progress but which I thought was a little unfortunate. I guess there is no pressing need to go there since there are just too many places to go to when the desire for the beach and the sea hits me. The entire Philippine Archipelago has vacation spelled right on them and every one who has been to the Philippines knows this to be true. The thing is I am a workaholic and there are surely many like me and we all need to take a vacation from ourselves. Ching's World would be a good vacation place. It would be ideal for someone like me who does not stop working. There is work in Ching's World and that is mostly in my head. Who cares about what I do? I don't know about other people but I would like to go away where I can do what I want without having anyone telling me what to do or when to do it. I definitely need sun, lots of sun, and sea. Power out 2008-03-22 06:06:00 Power was out the whole day today and we just sat around talking. I had a chance to talk to my son about certain things and I think it did not go over very well. It is not easy to talk to children. I remember I did not really care for what my father said to me, it was too corny, too dated, too familiar. This is the curse of family.
