Negative Bias to Choppy Session

Yesterday the market traded up and down through its range several times creating a balance in the market. There was selling pressure into the close; however the support at/near the 1335 area was able to hold. This leaves us with a sort of wait and see attitude towards the market today, if the support fails to hold today the 1325 area or even the 1310 area could be likely targets for the market.

This area represents the Fed intervention low, a 52-week low and thus is a major support area. Last week’s action could suggest a shakeout of the week longs and the possible beginning of a bottom formation.
