All you have to do is add Technorati tags to each of your posts.This is simpler for Wordpress users because they have an easy-to-install plug-in which automatically detects the main keywords within each post and adds it to the Technorati search engine. For non-Wordpress users, you will have to add them manually, which is easy to do as well. Below is the html code: As you can see, it’s just a simple link code, though, what Technorati reads is the 'rel=”tag”' part of it. Don’t Hold Blog Contests if You Are ‘Not’ Going to Payout! 2008-01-20 07:43:00 Why do bloggers run contests? It’s simple, they do it to increase exposure and build up their stats. But why would you offer incentives if you are simply not going to pay? In the long run, you’ll lose more than just those participants you screwed over. Personally, I have been screwed over twice and it has been on two very different occasions. The first, I participated in a contest that was giving away various prizes to five lucky contestants. And ‘oh look,’ I wasn’t the top prize winner, but ended up with a fourth place prize. I contacted the person hosting the contest on two different occasions and never heard anything back. But which one truly brings in more traffic?I am a member of various blogging forums and I have also taken the time to guest post on a few sites; both have helped me out a lot.
