Thanks 2008-02-08 07:52:00 Thanks for all the comments yesterday. Charlie slept all night, but Rachel was up at 1 am, unable to sleep. Must be a full moon. We read a story and then she was able to go back to bed. It took me a little longer.I did yoga before bed last night. Lately I have been so stressed that it has taken two tylenol PM and a xanax to get me to sleep, but last night I slept well after doing the yoga. Very relaxing. I am sitting here trying to gear up to walk, I am in my walking clothes, I have my water bottle filled, the DVD queued up and the treadmill key in place, but I am sitting here, not walking.My shoulders are sore from the yoga. I think it's from the downward facing dog pose. Either way, it's only been three days so I am sure it will go away eventually. I like adding in something that I don't Read more:Thanks
Coldest Mountains 2008-02-07 12:27:00 I did this one this afternoon. It's three canvasses clamped together and painted as one, but they will be hung as three. Yes, it is cold here today.I just realized that I don't think I can take this off my easel until it drys. At least it's the water soluble oils instead of the traditional oils. The traditional oils take months to dry. This will take about a week.
I'm A Dora Bull 2008-02-07 04:43:00 It is quarter to six and Charlie has been up a Loooonnng time. We have been giving him his melatonin earlier because getting him to wake up in the morning has been intense. Today is the first day that we have had rebound and he woke up in the middle of the night.There's a line. At 3 am, I would try to get him back to sleep. Anytime after about 4:30, I don't bother. Charlie put on Dora's Super Map Adventure and all was right in his world.Charlie has been having a very hard time in school. He never wants to go to school anymore. First it was comprehension testing. He just couldn't figure out the tests. Now it is math. Charlie is bright in math, but I finally realized (Duh!) he does not have simple addition and subtraction facts down. So we are working on those, but it's hard because he does
