I must say I’m not big on a lot of the extra “frills” so to speak. I’m a minimalist to say the least but I know the importance of a nice hand bag or a cute pair of earrings. DULL DAY! 2007-11-30 21:48:10 Today was pretty uneventful so I have not much to share. I had to train someone at work today, so that was pretty cool. The day went kind of slow for me, but we all seem to be on more of a goof off mode then anything else. So, that was nice to finally kind of “connect” so to speak with my co-workers. As, I mentioned it’s hard cause they speak no English so it’s a little difficult but today just kind of flowed. I liked it.
I had a special surprise a couple of my friends stopped by that was so much fun. I love having my friends over, I didn’t get to spend much time with them but they were having fun so that made me happy. I love seeing people I love happy.
Can you believe it? I blogged every single day of November! to me that is AMAZING. I never have that much to say lol. MASSAGE 2007-11-29 17:43:25 OK so, a few weeks back when all the emotional stuff was going on I couldn’t be by myself, it was just too much to be alone. So I tagged along with my friend to her chiropractor appointment. I was in pain myself so, they were kind enough to let me sit in one of their massage chairs. BOREDOM = DREAMS? 2007-12-07 19:23:29 Today has been one long day of nothing. Normally, I’d quite enjoy that idea, but today it’s just left me bored out of my mind. I’ve done nothing but try to arouse myself from the boredom which induced sleepy and hungry moments, both of which have not been appealing in any way shape or form. I feel so unproductive. I have at least 6 weeks of French homework staring at me, wanting me to look at it, hoping that I would just TRY to make an effort, but I can’t. I have no desire. I feel so sleepy. I think it’s a mix of the weather and the fact that I had NO SUN whatsoever today. I like that, believe me I do. I love the rainy weather it’s just my body has yet to adjust. We get a day of rain followed by 6 of sun, so it’s taking it’s time.

ROOM MAKEOVER 2007-12-06 17:16:47 I’m thinking of getting a futon for my room rather then have a bed. I was thinking about making it all very much my own little apartment within an apartment. LOL That might be a huge task but I don’t know, I’m pretty lazy now a days and anything that would make my job easier would rock. I can see it now, I decent futon with maybe some side tables and a coffee table and some nice rugs. It’s really hard to find decent and good quality area rugs but with a little searching they can be found. I came across superior rugs, there they have plenty of options to chose from and many different pattern choices as well, which is totally helpful. In looking through all the rugs I saw a really cool colour scheme I could work with. Well I saw a couple actually. OK, so I figured that everything was well and done since we got the car started and it was back to running as normal. My uncle came over to have a look at it and he said all was fine. Today was interesting for me, I went to the interview for the job I was talking about. Unfortunately it seems this isn’t going to work out. So events went as follows. I never got the 1st email she sent me about going in on Monday so I missed out on that chance. Then I set up the interview for today. ONLINE LOVE (GUEST BLOGGER) 2007-12-17 02:03:16 When Izzy asked me to write a guest post for December I was initially excited and flattered. But then I tried to write something and nothing would flow. I found it so different, and so much more difficult to write a piece for someone else’s blog than for my own. Not because Izzy led me to believe she expected anything earthshattering - simply that blogs are personal spaces and to write on Izzy’s is strange - I feel like an intruder. Izzy writes from her heart - her words pour forth onto the screen and visiting here is like curling up under a nice warm blanket with a friend. Suddenly I was expected to turn up, not just to listen but with a prepared piece. It didn’t feel quite right.
Izzy’s readership is rather different to mine too, younger for one thing. So I shall take advantage of that and ask a few questions that I rather fancy having a young person’s perspective on. So don’t be shy - I want you to say what you think!
