PowerPlay Golf - Like Twenty20, but Golf
2007-02-07 21:18:00
flangracneig pgoramian An article that attracted my attention on the BBC website was the launch of PowerPlay Golf. Basically, it seems to be like Rugby Sevens and Twenty20 Cricket in that is a faster game of golf. From what I read, these are the rules:- Played over 9 holes Two holes on each green one easy, and one hard Three “PowerPlays”, where you have to go for the hard hole “Closest to the pin” bonus points There is also a scoring system which I couldn’t be bothered figuring out. All in all, I don’t like a lot of these “Made for TV” Sports. I like Test Match cricket and full rugby games, because it’s goes on longer, and you can get pissed. I just feel this PowerPlay Golf is similar to some of the bonus games on Tiger Woods’ Golf for the Playstation. But that’s just me. What do you think? Also, if you have no interest in what I’ve written, which sport would you make more exciting, and how? Technorati Tags:power

Snow-Business
2007-02-08 09:10:46
flangracneig pgoramian “It’ll never snow!” I said yesterday to my work colleagues. “We’re by the coast, and Helen…” (Helen Willets, BBC Weather Girl, and her family and my family know each other - probably the most famous person I know) “…said that there was a break in the snow over Colwyn Bay.” Well, Helen lied to us. Shit. You win again mother nature. I’m sure it’s terrible elsewhere in the country, but here it aint so bad - it’s about as deep as Ashley Cole’s autobiography. The only person who is suffering is my brother, who - when it announced the chance of snow - put down his homework and went to the pub. He is not impressed at the fact that Eirias High School is going to be taking classes. He’s currently waiting for a second snowfall to kick in, either that or lie to the BBC and inform them to add Eirias High School to the list of school closures (it hasn’t, it is most definitely open

More Snow Pictures and Masterchef Drinking Game
2007-02-09 09:15:43
flangracneig pgoramian There was again more snow last night, but alas the second day of snowfall is never as good as the first. The first day of snow is always the best as it’s virginial, and everything looks clean. Now, it’s all a bit messy, and slushy like some of my handmade valentine’s day cards. Seeing as how we’re still in “Britain in Chaos” mode, I can’t really think of anything blogworthy to say, so - for that - here’s some pictures of the snow. Meh, it won’t get me many adsense clicks, but I haven’t been doing well recently anyway. Snow in the woods…. Snow in Prince’s Gardens, Colwyn Bay Snow topped Church. I’ll upload the rest of the pics, fullsized to my Flickr account later today. In other news, me and Aled have recently come up with a drinking game to our favourite TV Show at the moment: Masterchef Goes Large. Rules are very simple: whenever the bald one says “A Good, Honest Plate Of Food&#

Guide To Disrupting Your Local School & Coast 96.3 With Your Blog
2007-02-08 22:19:24
flangracneig pgoramian I went to bed early last night, so this morning’s entry was written, bright and early, when I woke up at around 7-ish. As such, it was on the internet before heading off to work this morning. I had a bowl of cereal, and checked back onto my blog, where I saw 0 comments, 0 trackbacks, but a few interesting stats. By the looks of it, that post got picked up by Google’s blog search pretty quickly, and was coming up tops. This was bad, I don’t want the Chavy Baby Factories to keep their little Jimmy off school because they got the impression that some guy on the internet said that Eirias was off. Quick as a flash I updated the post to include a stern, yet subtle statement saying that, as far as I knew, Eirias was open, and set off to work. I couldn’t find my mp3 player, so I plugged in the hands free kit into my phone, and listened to the only station I could get, Coast 96.3. It played it’s mix of music that’s seemingly uniform wi

Why I Didn't Develop Skype, and Why Sourceforge Hates Han
2007-02-09 21:13:51
flangracneig pgoramian Han has single handedly broken Kent Uni’s internet (it hosts Sourceforge), so she is freaking out that she is internetless. Normally, she’d be online with a mug of tea looking at kittens, I’d be online with a pint of boddies and looking at some…monkeys having sex or something amusing. Both of us would be on Skype though, talking to each other. That talking has become texting. Below is the jist of some of the texts… “Phew, I can get on the net on my phone. Thought I was completely cut off!” “Yeah. You’d think that somebody would do the decent thing and invent Skype for a phone.” “Rhys, they have. Want to know what it’s called?” “What?” “A phone.” “Oh. Meh, I freely admit I’m not thinking right tonight. So bored. Guy’s the same. Both of us are looking for the same thing this evening - a few drinks, get merry drunk. Shame we’re now a 3 hour t

Music & Lyrics, Colwyn Bay and Play For Your Club
2007-02-10 13:24:14
flangracneig pgoramian Below is a list of movies that are better than Music and Lyrics: Every other film in the world, ever. Including the one I did that’s on Youtube. It is dire, but I actually do feel a bit cheated. Hugh Grant was on “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car” - a segment on Top Gear, a predominantly blokey (and Han program. I thought “meh, there must be something that, as a man, I will like about the film. Uh huh. Nothing in this film people with an functional Y chromosome (and Han) will like. Even Cora, the singer who they are writing the song for, comes across as very, very creepy with her over inflated spiritual side. Even when she’s shaking it like a Polaroid picture, and performing some Buddist Lap Dance, I could only think “Shagging her would be like shagging the Dalai Lama“. So, Hugh Grant is Hugh Grant, Drew Barrymore is Drew Barrymore. It’s nothing you haven’t seen a mazillion times before, and all the funny bi

Golfing in Betws-Yn-Rhos
2007-02-11 23:20:16
flangracneig pgoramian After Colwyn Bay achieved victory against Shepshed Dynamo, I went on a mini bender on Spitfire’s and Zyeweic’s. Long story short: when I finally emerged from my hovel after midday, I had a hangover from death. So you can imagine my thrill when a mate rang me up to ask me if I wanted to go to Betws-Yn-Rhos for 9 holes of golf. Actually, I was well up for it, fresh air is a great cure for a hangover. After grabbing some food and digging out some of my golf clubs, I hit the greens. There are two nine hole courses at the golf course, we played the “Old 9″, which is basically a lot trickier for my style of golfing. Reason being is that I cannot connect properly, and instead of going in the air, the balls roll along the ground. There are a lot of up and down bits, including “ravines”, on the old course. After a while, the camera came out, and we began videoing each other. This was done partly for my own amusement, and partly because

Five Questions, and Five Questions Only
2007-02-12 13:09:42
flangracneig pgoramian I’ve got a few questions that have been in my mind for the last few days, which I thought I’d share with you guys…. 1. What do you prefer links to be like? Links to open in a new window, or links to open in the same window? 2. How do you reset the default size of windows in Firefox? I can’t comment on blogger blogs with pop up comment boxes because the new boxes are tiny. 3. Wasn’t last night’s Top Gear both amazing and disturbing that there are so morally stubborn bigoted people living in a developed nation? 4. Can you still get BBQ Rib Walkers Crisps anymore? The food equivalent of multiple orgasms seems to be missing from my local shop. 5. Is it wrong to have WWE Wrestler Themes (particularly Edge’s) on your MP3 Player? Yes, it’s lazy blogging. I think I’m getting man flu though, so - whilst I’ll soldier on with my nose resembling Mount Vesnottiness - I can’t expected to be hugely creative. Par

Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Advertising Is Terrible
2007-02-13 09:02:55
flangracneig pgoramian A lot of people have talked a lot about those Apple Ads and the fact it’s a terrible piece of casting (the Mac comes across like Jeremy from Peep Show: an arrogant jerk, whilst the PC comes across like Mark: a difficult, awkward yet amicable character). However, it isn’t just Mac who produce quality adverts that actually don’t quite work. I walked into a local computer shop, looking for nothing in particular, whereby I found a leaflet advertising Windows Vista in all it’s wonderful shapes and sizes. It was well designed, don’t get me wrong, but by god one thing made me laugh. I’m sorry, but if I had a new “cutting edge” piece of software, I’m sure I could find something better to advertise it than a card game. I mean, my phone has card games on it, and they are a lot better. In happier news: Windows Vista has Texas Hold ‘Em……..bonus! Technorati Tags:windows vista, advertising, apple, pc, mac

Happy Valentine's Day! I think…
2007-02-14 09:11:11
flangracneig pgoramian Photographer is Zemlinki Happy Valentine ’s Day everybody! Now, apart from that picture pandering to Han’s obsessive love for kittens and cats, you may be surprised to know that myself and Han sat down last night, talked for a few hours, and came to the same conclusion. Valentine’s Day, it’s not that great. This is only the second Valentine’s day ever for me that I’ve had a girlfriend, and - whilst I begged my ex two years ago for a card (as I never had one before), this year I’m slightly melancholy. I’m not going to boast about getting a card from somebody either, as being single on Valentine’s Day can be depressing, if hugely bloggable (I refer you to Mayogate - as Fern called it - last year). Truth be told I was actually very miserable that day, being the only one in the house not upto my nuts in guts. Maybe it’s just me, but if you care about somebody, why do it especially on one day per year? Anyway,

Premium Bonds and Funny Looks on Valentine's Day
2007-02-15 09:19:38
flangracneig pgoramian So, how was your valentine’s day? Mine was good, I had a nice little letter post through my door yesterday. Don’t worry! It wasn’t a Valentine ’s Day card oh no, something even more better. A cheque, from the NS&I, saying I won £50 on the Premium Bonds . You cannot explain how £50 has made me so happy. I had begun giving up on them, after Guy so effectively sold them to me. Now, I wish there was an affiliate scheme so that I could sell them to people and get some sort of money back. I don’t hold much, and I suppose I just got really lucky. But I’m so happy for picking up a win. After picking it up, paying in the cheque and working 7 and a half hours, I headed home and saw Rick had come home, we made plans for the evening and caught up on what we had been doing. I then went on Skype and - as a Valentine’s Day treat, Han showed me her newly acquired scars over Skype. Lovely. About 9pm, me and Rick got bored so we heade

Baby Boomers, Help Me and Help Han
2007-02-16 09:23:41
flangracneig pgoramian That is freaky. Last night, I dreamt that Fern gave birth and Han announced to me when I arrived in Canterbury that she was pregnant. I seriously hope only the former happens. In other news, I feel I’ve been a bit uninspired as of late, and it shows - both with my comments and adsense being way down on the previous month. I feel that - like all great men such as Bruce Banner, Jeremy Clarkson and Simon Cowell - I’m best when I’m angry. Unfortunately, I’m pretty content at the moment (unless of course the latter turns out to be true in the above paragraphs). So, I feel if I’m to get back into the rut, I need something to anger me. Or it to snow again. Finally, please help Han by voting for her in the JPG magazine. She could get published - and I believe her photography is amazing enough to do so. Right, I’m off to Canterbury, hopefully it’ll give me something blogworthy. See you Monday! Technorati Tags:baby, birth, dreams,

Be Careful What You Wish For…..
2007-02-17 18:45:58
flangracneig pgoramian In my last post I mentioned that “I needed some things to blog about”, well, today I got something most definitely blog worthy. Two hours ago, Hannah was being very nice and making me bagels for. She cut herself on her hand, but carried on with her bagels. I joined her in the kitchen where she smiled at me and told me her accident. I offered to take lunch off her, but Han being a little trooper, carried on for a little while more before asking me to take over. “I’m sitting down for a bit, I feel a bit dizzy”. I thought nothing of it, even when she said “I’m going to lie down on my bed.”. I carried on with the bagels, when I heard a bang. I turned to find Han lying against the cupboard, and just saw her hit the floor. I’ll be honest, when she couldn’t get back up, I was scared. I ran and asked a few of her flatmates for help, who - thankfully - were a lot better at first aid than me. I immediately became

Virgin Trains, Lambrini Girls and Real Dolls
2007-02-19 18:48:05
flangracneig pgoramian You can add Richard Branson to the list of famous people who read this blog. After my ranting a couple of weeks ago saying that Virgin trains would have trouble carrying the flu virus, I was pleasantly surprised with the train down to Canterbury on Friday. Thanks to Virgin seemingly put my own personal train down from Crewe to London, that stopped nowhere between those two cities, I was a gigantic 45 minutes early for Han. And they apologised too for “any inconvenience they caused”. Really, there was no need for the apology. If you haven’t guessed, this is the “What happened this weekend just gone apart from that Nasty Incident on Saturday+, Certain Parts of Friday Night and Sunday Evening” (which will be blogged about tomorrow, for relevant reasons). After getting picked up from Canterbury East Station by Han, we went for tea at Nando’s. I’ve never been, it wasn’t too great food but the company (as always) was fant

Pancake Day/Shrove Tuesday
2007-02-20 13:11:15
flangracneig pgoramian Today is Pancake Day in the UK (do they celebrate it elsewhere?). I’m not sure about other countries, but basically traditional pancakes are eaten either as a pudding, starter, or as a full blown meal. Whilst some of you are screaming “Oh shit! I forgot the flour, eggs and milk”, and are running off to the local Tescos to purchase these items. For those of you who are left, you will enjoy a short story on “Our” Pancake Day, last Sunday, with myself and Han. We decided to forgo making proper pancakes and instead went for the cheap and easy pancake batter mix. This provided our first discussion/argument, on how to make it. Han was adamant that the batter mix gets added to the egg and water, I was sure it was the other way around. After threats, promises and threats, Han got her way. She was happy, I wasn’t. To appease me, Han designated me as chief stirrer, a position I accepted on one condition: that I had a photo taken of me

Giving Up on Lent, More Pancakes and Chavs
2007-02-21 08:57:51
flangracneig pgoramian I had another go at cooking pancakes, this was now “My Way”, rather than “Han’s way” on Sunday. I have since decided that I can cook them, and they did taste fabulous. At this point I’d love to show you a picture of my piece of culinary perfection. However, I didn’t have my camera with me, so you’ll have to take my word for it. Yesterday was probably the warmest day of the year so far, and - one disturbing thing from last year that reared it’s ugly head is that the chavs have come out of hibernation, and into Prince’s Garden’s in Colwyn Bay. Instead of the seren, albeit cold, weather there for my lunch over the winter, I instead have to deal with the lowest form of human existance drinking, swearing and screaming at each others. It’ll be like this until September sometime, and is set to get longer each year, what with global warming. In my opinion, you should legally be allowed to hunt them

Laptops, Back Problems and Blog Awards
2007-02-22 23:06:27
flangracneig pgoramian Han always has a dig at me about my posture in front of the computer. My computer chair is - effectively - my bed. I suffered a few weeks ago with terrible back pain that lasted for about a week. I have a solution to my woes: A laptop. With a wireless laptop I can sit anywhere, and not ALWAYS in the contorted, convalouted, spine-sodomizing positions I currently sit in now. I could even blog on the bog if I wanted to. Sure, I can always return to my PC if and when need be, but I feel I could so use a laptop. And I want you to help me get one. No no! I’m not encouraging you to click on my ads (that will get me in trouble), or indeed asking you to hand over your hard earned cash, oh no. This is something you can make happen. Free newspaper The Metro are running a “Best British Blog” competition. Okay, you have to register to nominate, but I found my old fantasy football account worked. The prize? Well, for the Wierd-and-Wonderful category (the one

My Brother in the North Wales Pioneer, RSS Feeds & Comments
2007-02-22 09:06:56
flangracneig pgoramian Last night, Aled (the younger, less commenty) of my two brothers played his first gig at The Washington in Llandudno (where Lemmy from Motorhead used to hang out) with the band, kevCeejay. Alas, I would’ve loved to have gone, but I couldn’t get transportation there and back. Al kinda annoys me with his drumming when I’m hungover, but have been told he’s very good at drumming. I used to think he looked like a third of Hanson when his hair was long, and used to whistle MmmBop whenever he was out of earshot. He must’ve heard, as a week later he trimmed his locks. Anyway, as a way of making up to him that I didn’t see him, plus I’ve got nothing else to blog about, I’ll pimp the band’s myspace, which can be seen at http://www.myspace.com/kevceejayrocks. Go and listen to my brother, who - like his other brother Rick - is obscenely more talented than yours truly. It’s just not fair. He even got a bit about the

bla.st, Business Cards and itBoxes
2007-02-24 11:55:08
flangracneig pgoramian I had a good night last night, I almost didn’t go out. Was fun, doing a mini pub crawl around Llandudno. Llandudno’s quiet on a Friday, which is good - Saturday night is always heaving. Anyway, I drank a little bit of alcohol, and actually ended up taking home more money than I spent! Always good when that happens - thanks largely to Catchphrase on the itbox. To borrow a quote from my mate - “It loves to pay out!”. Anyway, I found a cool new site called bla.st, it’s an online directory of ‘cards’ - Business Card style graphics. Anyway, you upload a ‘card’, and it gets displayed on a page according to how much you spend on ‘advertising’. Of course, you can spend - like me - a big fat $0. It just seems like a cool concept, kind of a bit like that Million Dollar Home Page (the bastard). If you do decide to join, you can add “tags”, which put you in categories. If you add “rhys wynne

Chocolate, Something for the Weekend and Impressionists
2007-02-25 13:33:14
flangracneig pgoramian I mentioned to Sayre in my last post what I have given up for lent. I had trouble thinking up of what I wanted to give up, as I had been successful for two previous years, and fancied something a bit different. Well, 3 days in, and I thought of something. Plus I hadn’t cheated as I haven’t eaten it since Lent. I’m giving up chocolate. It was a comment from nal last week that sort of made me think “yeah, let it be chocolate”. So I am embarking on a 40 days and 40 nights without Chocolate . Within that time is my birthday (March 4th, write it in your diary), so if you are thinking about getting me anything, don’t let it be chocolate. Do what Han’s planning to do, and give me the clap. One thing that has not helped me in the slightest is Something For The Weekend . This week, Chelski Scum (but a legend) Lovejoy and his Bald Scouse Mate made Chocolate Brownies, in a recipe that resembled those M & S food porn adverts. With

British Gas are Arseholes, Switching Suppliers and New Boilers
2007-02-26 10:55:08
flangracneig pgoramian This is going to be rather a dull post, I’m afraid. All about money and gas suppliers. But it kinda made me angry, hence why I’m blogging about it. If you don’t like it, spam my forum or something. This morning, the postman came and dropped a few letters through the box. None for me (no further Premium Bond wins, early birthday cards, or train tickets for London this weekend), but one from my mum, from British Gas. She has this “Price Protection” Plan - quite simply, should the price go up, then she sticks with the old price. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and the phone salesman said things like “loyal customer” and “free” and “bonus”. Of course, there was one thing the salesman forgot to mention - can you guess what it is readers? From the letter:- “You may have heard recently that British Gas has dropped it’s prices recently by 17%. As you are part of our price protection sch

My Birthday, Thorpe Park and London Town
2007-02-27 10:08:07
flangracneig pgoramian I guess it’s out of the bag now, thanks to Celeste (not that I was keeping it secret), my birthday plans. First of all, this year is a bitch as it falls on a Sunday. Thanks to university and general weekendedness, I haven’t been at work/studying on my birthday since my 18th (which was A-Level Day), which is a good good thing. This year however, the large part of March 4th will be spent on a train? Why? Well, this weekend me and Han have booked a dirty weekend away. Except Guy is joining us. And Celeste. And it won’t be that dirty. We’re going to Thorpe Park, which is a theme park in the South of England. It doesn’t look as ace as Alton Towers, with less roller coasters. But it shall be fun. We are then going out for drinks in inner city London (will you be around there? Comment to let me know). So, that’s the plans for this weekend. I am so looking forward to it, but Han really isn’t. Reason being she’s struggling

Adsense, Joost and No Boiler and Game Boy!
2007-02-28 08:56:27
flangracneig pgoramian So, another month of Wordpress down, and I am still happy with it. There have been a few teething problems recently (the update last night caused a disagreement with one of my plugins), but it seems to be okay at the moment. This month I have made less money than last month on Adsense , but ironically the last week has been the best. It was due to a new plugin - More Money. Basically, it puts ads on this blog that the people who are actually reading it can’t see. All me to show you, by comparing if you arrive here by Google, or if you arrive here by a direct link (which most of you do). Simple, and effective. You don’t see my crap, and I get to whore myself out to various people for 50p a day. Everybody’s a winner. The other thing I tried today was Joost . Joost is a legal P2P system that distributes TV in real time streaming. What it means in Layman’s terms is that you can watch American TV before it’s shown over here (I think), for

St David’s Day Parade, Text Link Ads and the Weekend Ahead
2007-03-02 08:48:42
flangracneig pgoramian Guy mentioned yesterday about what celebrations there are for St. David s Day. There are a few going on, and a lot of people are doing increasingly more to celebrate (myself? I’m drinking Brains St David’s Ale), but the school kids did a parade yesterday. I took a few photos from work, and heavily edited them as not to get in trouble (you could kinda make out where I worked with the originals). Okay, it’s hardly Mardi Gras, but a few years ago they did sod all. It’s nice that our local town is doing something - closing the main road to run a parade. There was also a few promotional buses parked outside of town - I got a Rugby Ball which I caught with a catch that’d make a Paul Collingwood Catch look ordinary. So it was a good day yesterday! The other piece of good news was from Text Link Ads, who paid me for hosting ads on my blog.   Seriously, it’s the easiest money I’ve ever earnt, and it’s well worth inve

Dydd Dewi Sant Hapus/Happy Saint David’s Day
2007-03-01 09:01:54
flangracneig pgoramian Happy Saint David ’s Day People! For the unaware, St. David’s Day is the Patron Saint of Wales, and - being a red blooded Welshman, I, like a lot of my countrymen, are celebrating. Of course, I’m not drinking (I still have to go into work), but I thought about what I can do to help you appreciate my culture. So I’m going to teach you a little Welsh! Baiscally, a few Welsh facts, as well as Welsh words and facts. No doubt some smart alec Welsh grammar nazi will correct me if I’m incorrect in the comments. But, as a semi-fluent Welshie, this is what I’ll say, and I’ve never had any problems. I’ve tried to pick ones that I don’t have to explain the Ll’s and the Ch’s that are abundant in Wales, so they should be easy to pronounce. Try them on your co-workers! All Grown Up
2007-03-04 19:41:58
flangracneig pgoramian Today is my 23′rd birthday, and I am completely knackered. My two days in London was absolutely fabulous, Thorpe Park was fun, the company in Han, Guy and Celeste was brilliant, the food was lovely in Chinatown, the drinks weren’t as expensive as I thought, and I have recieved some amazing gifts. And there was a Lunar fucking eclipse. However, these stories and wait, until I’m less tired, and less busy. Until then, here’s a picture of the weekend. After the meal, we were given orangs to freshen up with, and both me and Guy looked at each other, and did exactly the same thing.   We’re so mature. There was a tinge of sadness to the weekend, as somebody who I get on with I won’t be seeing for a long time, but overall, it was good! I’m off to the pub tonight, to further celebrate my birthday. I’ll probably fall asleep in my pint, but it should be fun. To keep yourself amused, see if you can guess the exact referen

Thorpe Park, London Chinese Food, and Lunar Eclipses
2007-03-06 11:15:07
flangracneig pgoramian When we arrived at London, I had a scary moment whereby I dropped my mobile phone and it skidded nearly onto the underground track. However, it didn’t. Han was a little later than me (the first time I’ve beaten Han anywhere, a point that amused me for about 10 minutes) so I spent my time finding out where the hotel was, and sure enough we found it. The hotel was lovely, with hard floors, huge marble bathroom (which, we found that it was not designed for practicality, as the sink was a bugger to get clean) and Andy Warhol esque paintings on the wall. The view from the window was over an industrial estate, but it didn’t matter, as we saw a giant Mobli. After watching some TV, we went down to get some food, me to get a beer (they had Boddies on tap!), and Han to get her internet fix. The food was nice (well, I liked my dish, Han wasn’t to keen on hers), and we had a few drinks and ordered room service (which I had to get), before going t

Gutted
2007-03-07 10:21:45
flangracneig pgoramian I’ll be honest, I am quite heartbroken. Losing such a wonderful girl as her, I doubt I’ll find another girl like her, especially as I’m not the going out getting pissed sort. I don’t blame anybody, I certainly don’t blame Han, as she’s as teary as me, if not more. It’s confusing. Every reason she gave me splitting up with her I believe needs me to feel the same way. I don’t. Long story short - she doesn’t want a relationship. As much as it hurts me to say it, I respect her decision. But I feel so empty, I need something to fill a very huge gap - it’s hard when 80% of your social life is based in Canterbury. I’ve been up since 5am, I’ve eaten chocolate (bollocks to lent) and listening to “Nothing Compares 2 U” by the Stereophonics (bollocks to Sinead O’Connor). It’s not a pretty sight. I’d take Han back in a heartbeat. Back when my head’s sorted. Send love

Thank You
2007-03-09 09:13:32
flangracneig pgoramian It’s nice to feel loved. For those of you who are visiting this blog for the first time, please refer to the last post into what has recently happened. Either way, I’m sure most of you know, and I just want to take time to thank those who have helped me over the last few days. Thank you Guy - who kept emailing me and checking up on me, suggesting some crazy ideas which probably won’t come to fruition, as well as providing the beer for which I drank Wednesday evening.
