The Mustard Seed | Osho's Cut Deep Commentaries on Bible 2007-11-25 15:01:24
TELL US WHAT THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE.
JESUS SAID TO THEM: IT IS LIKE A MUSTARD SEED -- SMALLER THAN ALL SEEDS, BUT WHEN IT FALLS ON THE TILLED EARTH IT PRODUCES A LARGE TREE AND BECOMES SHELTER FOR ALL THE BIRDS OF HEAVEN
Jesus has used this mustard seed very often, for many reasons. One: the mustard seed is the smallest seed. God is invisible, smaller than the smallest, so how can you indicate him? At the boundary of sight is the mustard seed, the smallest thing.... Beyond that you will not be able to understand because beyond is the invisible. The mustard seed is the boundary, the smallest thing in the world of the visible -- you can see it but it is very small. If you go beyond you enter the world of the subtle, that which is smaller than the smallest. This mustard seed exists on the boundary.
And this mustard seed is not only the smallest visible thing, it also has a very mysterious quality: when it grows it becomes the biggest of plants. So it is a paradox: the see
Life is Laughter. Don't waste it being Serious | Osho 2007-11-21 06:02:13 Seriousness is a deadly disease, Osho says. If you get it, your life is doomed. Oh! Have I been a little serious saying that? Seems so. Ok let me go around the other way. Laughter is a very good healer. It just not only heals our life but also makes our life feel light and happy. Think of life as a game and take it in game spirit, then you don’t have worries in your life. Life is a game. You have nothing to lose… even if you lose, it’s not real. It is just a part of the game…. You will get it somewhere else… Here is what Osho Rajeesh says on Laughter and Seriousness:
"Laughter is one of the things most repressed by society all over the world, in all the ages.Society wants you to be serious. Parents want their children to be serious, teachers want their students to be serious, the bosses want their servants to be serious, the commanders want their armies to be serious. Seriousness is required of everybody.
Laughter is dangerous and rebellious. When the teacher is teaching you Read more:waste
Why marriages fail? Osho questions your love 2007-11-18 09:30:56
If there is anything that affects your life more than anything else, it is how a man relates with a woman in marriage life. When you are a child, the quality of your parents’ marriage life affects you (for better or for worse) and when you are mature enough, your own way of relating yourself with your spouse defines the way you live.
Osho believes that the highest point of love is marriage but when he makes such a statement, he doesn’t refer to the legality of marriage. He just refers to the state where a man and a woman melt with each other (regardless of whether the society accepts it as marriage or not). What Osho refers to as marriage has nothing to do with the ceremony accompanied marriage of the society.
“It is a merging of two hearts into totality. It is the functioning of two persons in synchronicity -- that is marriage.”
But quite ordinarily we find that most marriages
fail. Either they end up with a life long committed love-fight relationship which none of the p Read more:questions
Christians logic is absurd 2007-11-17 05:12:43
"Christians
say Jesus suffered for the sin of the whole humanity. The whole logic is absurd
. Adam committed the sin, you are guilty for it; then Jesus suffers for you, and your guilt is forgiven. So the whole deal is between Adam and Jesus you are just puppets. Sometimes Adam leads you so you move into sin, sometimes Adam leads you so you move into sin, and sometimes Jesus leads you so you move into the kingdom of god, but you yourself are nothing. But to exploit religions had to create a guilt feeling. Because of that guilt feeling that you are not accepted as you are, you cannot conceive of yourself as already in the divine, being divine."
Sex is not Just Sex, Sex is all 2007-11-07 08:26:36 To me Osho is one of the few masters who dared to speak so openly about a topic like sex which is considered as a sin to be talked about (especially by a holy person.) Osho doesn't take up any mask. He sees sex is not something to be condemned in our life, rather it is an act of celebration. In his speech, The Art of Dying, Osho gives a different perspective on sex which is life affirmative and also natural. I owe much to Osho for his enlightening speeches on Sex, which helped to enjoy sex life to the fullest without any guilt feeling of sin.
But I am not saying that sex is not divine. It is the seed. Love is the tree, prayer is the flowering. Prayer arises out of sex energy. You have to be grateful towards it, you have to respect it. Sex should be respected because everything is going to happen out of it. Life has happened out of it; death is going to happen out of it; love, prayer and God are going to happen out of it. Sex carries the whole blueprint of your destiny. To me, sex is

Girl, Salesman and Rabi in a Hotel | Osho Jokes 2007-11-04 17:54:13 A salesman is forced to share a room with a rabbi in a crowded hotel. He enters the room and finds the rabbi kneeling in a corner, murmuring his prayers.
"Hi," says the salesman. "I'm your new roommate." The rabbi nods without interrupting his prayers. "Well then, which bed shall I take?" The rabbi points to one bed, continuing to pray. The salesman nervously unpacks his bag, then all of a sudden says, "Say, rabbi, do you mind if I bring up a girl?" The rabbi still praying, shouts, "Not one, two!" Read more:Jokes

Mulla Nasrudin and His Wife in a Park | Osho Jokes 2007-11-04 17:30:53 Mulla Nasrudin and his wife were sitting on a bench in the park one evening just at dusk. Without knowing that they were close by, a young man and his girl friend sat down at a bench on the other side of a hedge.
Almost immediately, the young man began to talk in the most loving manner imaginable.
"He does not know we are sitting here," Mulla Nasrudin's wife whispered to her husband. "It sounds like he is going to propose to her. I think you should cough or something and warn him."
"WHY SHOULD I WARN HIM?" asked Nasrudin. "NOBODY WARNED ME." Read more:Jokes
You cannot change her but only ___________ her 2008-02-22 13:24:07
Last night I was talking with my childhood friend after many years. He has grown into man and I couldn't see none of his childhood childishness. He is a man, now. And he is in love. So obviously I enquired him about his love life and his partner and about their understanding in life. He answered me short and witty:
In life, you cannot Change (with a pun!) your partner, you can only understand her.
That reminded me of a wonderful quote of Osho about women & men's mentality.

What is Love? Eternal Question Unanswered 2008-02-12 04:28:45
Down the ages, or at least, as seen in my lifetime, one of the questions that doesn't find a solid answer is WHAT IS LOVE? I personally have a considerably complicated (in the eyes of society) love relation and I also witness a few great couples, and also on the contrary, many who were once 'two in one' breaking up their relation. As a result, all my life, this question of 'What is Love?' keeps visiting me as an old faithful dog and everytime I find that the answer I have is different from the one I had earlier.
Sometimes, I have tried to go beyond What is Love and look into Why great lovers who had enjoyed each other's presence get separated as time passes? How does the enjoyment of each other turn into annoyance? How does the desire to be with each other turn to relief of getting sepa Read more:Eternal

Women are Darkness 2008-02-11 12:10:14
It has been days that I have been with my love, and last night he was with me. Caring me so much he explained how beautiful and peaceful it's to sleep on my lap and on my bosom. Today, having talked with one of my friends Satya who asked me why I haven't written long for BO, I thought I would post on Osho Talks on the quality of Women
and then continue blogging (which was dormant for sometime) to share my spiritual and love journey online.
