Blue2O2 - Pulse Oximeter
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Last week I had the great privilege of participating in the creation of a demo video of what is going to be, I believe, a revolution in the world of the aviation. I have to confess that I am pretty satisfied with the result. Let's see what you think. :-PThe device is actually a safety method to identify the levels of oxygen saturation and heart rate of pilots during flight. To those who might not know, it is specially important to being able to control these levels in specific conditions, such as high altitude or pressure, where the decrease of oxygen can lead to hypoxia.Hypoxia represents a serious problem in aviation, since it is known to be one of the main causes of aircraft accidents in the past. With the use of this device, this will not be an issue anymore! It is small, portable and wireless. Moreover, the device integrates on any laptop, tablet pc, or PDA as long as it runs Windows OS.Highly recommended!

LinkedIn Social Network
1970-01-01 00:59:59
LinkedIn is a business oriented social networking site. With more than 9 million registered users, in more than 150 countries, it is the ideal place to build your connections. The main purpose of the site is to allow registered users to maintain a list of contact details of people they know and trust. The people in the list are called connections. Users can invite anyone to become a connection. It is specially useful to find jobs, people and business opportunities. I personally joined the network as part of my current job hunting strategy. This is for sure one of the best places I know for job seeking.Another cool feature is that you can have an online version of your resume (here's mine), which can be found as a public profile through regular web search. This feature may be very useful to market yourself in the internet. It is totally free and easy to use so I encourage you to give it a try! ;-)www.linkedin.com

A new era for the cell phone market
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Apple CEO Steve Jobs finally announced the long-awaited Apple iPhone during his MacWorld 2007 Expo held in San Francisco last January 9th. The iPhone will be three devices in one! A cell phone , a wide-screen iPod with touch controls, and an Internet communications device. As has been widely rumored for months, Cingular will be the only iPhone carrier. Both Apple and Cingular stores will sell the phone starting in June. Europe will get it in the fourth quarter, and Asia will have to wait until next year. There will be 2 models to choose from: The 4GB will cost $499 with a two-year contract and the 8GB will cost $599 (also with a two-year contract). The price looks kind of high to me, but the good news is that we still have time to make some savings! Hehehe Beyond the music player, the iPhone runs on Mac OS X and promises a 2-megapixel camera, a photo-management tool that rotates the display for landscape photos (like with videos), support for Google Maps, conference calling, a sp

Own the Internet with AGLOCO
1970-01-01 00:59:59
If you haven't yet heard about AGLOCO , you need to listen up! This new company, founded by a bunch of Stanford MBA students, is creating quite a buzz. Their slogan is "Own the Internet '… and that's what it's about: you're getting back some of the money you generate for e-businesses just by surfing the internet as you usually do. Skeptical? Well, here's why I chose to join:1) $$$ - I will earn ownership in the company (in the form of shares) and will then begin earning substantial money if this thing blows up (and I have nothing to lose if it doesn't.)2) Simplicity - I use the Internet just as I always have… I just get paid to do it!3) Getting my share! - I like the idea of getting my share of all the billions of wealth being created on the Internet - even if I am not going to be a millionaire because of this. The company has a very solid privacy structure in place, so your information won't be shared and you won't start receiving loads of spam. AND, you can ear

1970-01-01 00:59:59

Super Bowl Day
1970-01-01 00:59:59
What an amazing show! Although I am not that much of a Football fan (I am from Europe where Soccer is definitely the sport to follow) I have to recognize that I was amazed for the spectacular atmosphere of the Super Bowl final between the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears. Being in America and not watching the most popular sporting event of the year would have been inexcusable. :-P So

Success
1970-01-01 00:59:59

Google Gulp
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I found something that really caught my attention while surfing the internet. On April 2005, Google announced Google Gulp, smart drinks designed to "Quench Your Thirst For Knowledge". At Google our mission is to organize the world's information and make it useful and accessible to our users. But any piece of information's usefulness derives, to a depressing degree, from the cognitive
