iPhone on your PDA 2007-01-16 02:25:27 Apple lawyers have been bullying bloggers by threatening that they are breaching copyright law, simply because they are ‘reporting’ that an iPhone
skin exists, we have to face reality…
…I personally think that they are fully aware that it is no crime to ‘report’ on something and state where it is, what they’re doing is yet again another act of viral marketing!
But hey, who cares, it’s working, there’s something to talk about, and face it… the iPhone is indeed pretty cool!
mmm, now if only I had one to review :/

Auto-Erasable Paper 2007-01-15 21:38:50
How neat is that?
XEROX have come up with a type of paper than can automatically erase itself. Don’t confuse this with E-Ink, which as a technology works very differently… though Xerox PARC has also been working on E-Ink for at least the past 2 years (if not more)

"Is that your credit card?"…"No! It's my mp3 player!" 2007-01-14 19:29:27 e people just don’t give up. The Walletex company have introduced a new MP3 player
, identical in size to a credit
card… pretty cool, though not as amazing as one might imagine, since after all most of us know that the core of a USB pen drive is indeed way smaller than it’s exterior packaging. My USB pen drive is a mere 1×8x20mm in size.
Add to that some MP3 firmware, and you’re almost there! In all honesty, although innovative, I don’t see myself making use of this toy, then again, there might be some who actually dig this, but I can’t imagine myself using it, since even though it is thinner, it is not exactly smaller than most of it’s competitors, plus it only holds up to 2GB of data. Additionally, there is no way I would keep this in my wallet since 1) it would be highly inconvenient to change track, etc… and 2) I have no intension of showing a physical track {wire} to the rest of the world as to where my wallet is.

LGM-118A Peacekeeper 2007-01-14 02:31:05
Unfortunately, it was sad to discover that such an amazing photo is in fact nothing other than a test launch of a missile called the LGM-118A Peacekeeper Missile. To be precise, it is a so-called Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, capable of travelling in excess of 5,000km, a very well suited for the delivery of nuclear warheads [presumably not to friends]
Now why would they call such a savage beast of a missile a ‘Peacekeeper’? How about calling it a ‘Silencer’?

Happy Birthday IBM-PC! 2007-01-14 02:11:47
…and to think that this poor baby is going to die so soon! Face it, the more time goes by, the more the desktop is losing popularity… instead, people are going for handheld solutions or notebooks.
I personally have just transitioned to the ‘I-will-only-have-a-notebook-for-a-personal-PC’ phase… and since I have a particular love for large and wide screens [my notebook is 17″ wide-screen]… and am also a pretty power hungry user, I doubt I will ever go for anything smaller than a notebook, thinner maybe… not unless the display as we know it become obsolete, and some funky new visual interface is invented.
…especially since, deeeeeeeeep down, I am a very anti-GUI individual who sorely misses cli days :/
