Jellyfish, Salmon and Rising Water Temperatures but no Questions in the UK Media? 2007-11-24 10:05:15 News arrived on Wednesday (my apologies as I started writing this a couple of days ago, on the morning of the 21st Nov, but I was unable to post until now because I lost half of what I originally posted..) about the only salmon farm in Northern Ireland being wiped out by jellyfish last week. The (original) BBC article will follow with details. What is interesting is that of the online papers running this story in the UK at the moment (morning of 22nd November, not a single one has mentioned even in passing the environmental questions that really should be asked and indeed have a precedent to be asked. ”, I tend to get frustrated and angry. I just read an article which had my eyebrows up in my hairline and I was shaking my head in incredulity at the….childish, pathetic, scary, ignorant, vindictive, absurd…actions of the British Home Office, then I became very frustrated and angry.

Anyone who thinks we live in a just and fair society that gives us freedom and allows us to be innocent until proven guilty, needs to sit down and have a long hard think about why they still think that. MP and leader in the Movement for Justice party, has been released from jail today. What does this mean for his cause, the reason why he was protesting and hunger striking..? I hope that this question is not missed in the frenzy of reporting that he has been released. The judges who were sacked are still sacked. The new “Puppet Judges”, have already dismissed the main challenges to Musharraf’s re-election, that the previous Judges were not prepared to do, which stood in Musharraf’s way. Has anything changed?

I do not think I am guessing far from the truth, watching the video, that Robert, being a Polish national, not speaking English, and flying for the first time, to meet his mother was someone who, after being apparently detained for 10 hours at customs, was scared, confused and upset.
