February Site Traffic 2008-02-29 07:04:00 Congratulations to everyone. Before I started this month, I really intended to reach 1000 page views. Read my post here. I was just not able to reach it, but breached it by more than 272. Since I started measuring site traffic, the number of page views just keep going up. Look at the beautiful trend below.There's not much secret behind this feat. All I did, is write post on a daily basis and increase my ads at EntreCard. I guess it's more related to the number of post I made long before I made this target. I don't know about March, I have to admit, site traffic month to month is unpredictable, but I'm hoping that I can maintain this up to next month. Increasing it to this level is very painstaking. Techbargains 2008-02-22 08:41:00 I always wanted to buy a laptop and I've been scouring the internet for a very good bargain. The laptop I'm looking for is pretty basic. Not necessarily core duo, a celeron processor would be fine. At least it should have a 1GB ram, 120GB hard drive and a dvd and vcd writer. I found a few good bargains and I have written posts on some. But stingy that I am, I didn't buy one yet. I found laptops mostly in the $600.00 USD range. I'm looking for sub $500 price. While looking for my dream laptop, I experienced how cumbersome it is, to search using Google or Yahoo. Just typing "cheap laptop" could overwhelm you by the sheer number of links. also known locally as Bulubadiangan, is an island getaway, endowed with a white sandbar about half a kilometer long. This sandbar changes position depending on the direction on the wind. Unknown Known 2008-03-12 08:41:00 Today I made a very startling discovery. I'm playing with one of the free proxy service and I'm surfing my own site. Out of curiosity I checked my traffic using SiteMeter. I viewed the "Recent Visitors by Referrals" and as sure as the sun will come out tomorrow, there is a visit registered with "Referring URL" as "unknown". By clicking "Detail", I found that the IP address coincides with the proxy's IP, albeit the last number is omitted.So for all fellow SiteMeter users, the "unknown" entries in your traffic is actually using proxy servers.
