Gary Gygax Dies 2008-03-04 13:22:41 Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons, has passed away. Since the news broke earlier today, the Internet has been overrun with jokes about him failing his saving throw and nostalgia about being called a Satanist as a geeky, RPG-playing kid. Gygax was 69 and is survived by a wife and six children.

Mary Shelton for Eleventh Hour 2008-03-12 11:53:21 Scifi.com reports that actress Mary Shelton, of Grindhouse, has been tapped to star alongside Rufus Sewell in the US version of the British series, Eleventh Hour. The UK version starred Patrick Stewart and Ashley Jensen, who can be seen in Ugly Betty. Shelton will play the female bodyguard to Sewell’s government scientific advisor.
