Northwest/Delta post 10.5 Billion Loss 2008-04-28 09:31:00 WTF? How can 2 airlines post a 2.5 billion loss in one quarter? And with their impending nuptials they are going to make money? Here is the story.ATLANTA (AP) — Delta
and Northwest
, seeking to combine to create the world's largest airline, posted losses Wednesday totaling $10.5 billion for the first three months of the year due to exorbitant fuel prices and write-downs of their companies' value.Southwest's chief executive, meanwhile, indicated that the carrier wasn't interested in a merger and said the very thought of it was daunting. The figures from Delta and Northwest follow large losses at other carriers, such as United Airlines parent UAL Corp., which earlier this week reported a $537 million first-quarter loss on higher fuel costs, and likely rank among the industry's largest quarter

I started this 6 months ago with the intention of making a little extra money on the side and for fun. And I have made a little extra money on the side, $15 to be exact! I get paid when people click on the ads from my sponsors on the site and it hasn't exactly been very profitable, so at this time I am going to take a break and decide whether to continue or not. Thanks for everyones support and best of luck to my fellow bloggers! Ciao for now.....or should I say Chow for now! And please feel free to leave your comments and thoughts below. Thanks. SEX SELLS!-Greg Plitt & Brian Bloom 2008-05-07 07:39:00 I thought I would mark my return with a combo of sex and a nasty airplane story. These two hunks are Greg Plitt from Bravos series "Workout" (He is straight) and BrianBloom
, actor from the series "OZ" and tv show "Bandit". These two are my epitome of hotness. Both are fairly hairy which gets an A+ in my book but the deal maker are the eyes! Those eyes always get me at the door. I have always been a sucker for dark hair and light colored eyes that seem to be able to see right through you. My how these two make me wet. And now we shall segway into my airplane story. Within the past 3 weeks this incident happened twice, and I swear to God this is the truth. Both time I was flying the Lead position working first class, and let me state I am the old school type of flight attendant, very prof
"Marlene" and Mother's Day 2008-05-09 07:07:00 With Mother's Day fast approaching, Marlene
's downward spiral into her wine bottle seems even faster. Seems there aren't too many Holidays that she does enjoy. Mother's Day in particular though brings a high level of anxiety for her. Two reasons immediately come to mind, one the fact that her own mother abandoned the family when Marlene was just a child to run off and join the circus, living the life of a traveling carny. And two, the fact she doesn't have any children that she brought to term. She has never hidden the fact she doesn't like them, however I think she is haunted by the dozen or so "miscarriages" she has had. The past couple of weeks she has been drinking more than usual and her mood has become more and more surly. I just hope that this changes after Mother's Day and she

Naked Pilot & Flight Attendant Arrested 2008-05-21 07:51:00 Interesting story, but what I am confused about is how they were able to pay for a night of dinner and drinks. They work for a commuter airline. If you knew what Pinnacle pays their crews you would be just as confused. The story is below.HARRISBURG, Pa. - An airline pilot was found hiding behind a shed wearing only flip-flops and a wristwatch as a nighttime romp in the woods with a flight attendan Read more:Pilot

Take No Prisoners (Well maybe one) 2008-05-31 07:10:00 Believe it or not the Airlines transport prisoners fairly often. Most passengers would not even know they are on board. They are usually in street clothes and always escorted by at least one armed guard, who is also in street clothes. The prisoner is always shackled at the feet and many times has handcuffs on. On the first leg of my trip Wednesday we had a prisoner being extradited to a federal pr Read more:Prisoners

Spaghetti Sauce Tip 2008-06-11 08:00:00 Next time you make Spaghetti
or any red pasta sauce either homemade or from a jar add a cut up carrot or 2 into the sauce. Just cut the carrot into large chunks and add to the sauce in the beginning. The carrot adds a touch of natural sweetness to the sauce and cuts the acidity. I think this is a great little tip. Geez I am beginning to feel like Heloise.
