Sure they can do paperwork and pass laws that call us disabled. However, aren't they the ones in real pain?Linear people see the world as black and white.We get to see the black, white, gray and all of the colors.Linear people fall into basically two groups. Those who see the glass half full (optimist) or half empty (pessimist). I just see it as a glass with water in it.

The people that create these things (writers, actors, directors, producers and crew), the others that sell it to the public (studio executives, marketing teams, etc.), those that distribute the product (studios, internet companies), the stockholders of these public companies, or the audience.I was always trained that the audience is ultimately the most important thing. It is who at the end of the day we all serve. I don't believe anyone really knows how the strike will play out. However, I do believe it will define the next generations of creators and studio executives.Where do you stand? I of course fall with the creative people.

Network Executives must have met during the summer to talk about alternative programming in case of a strike. During their brainstorming session one name emerges - OJ. Name recognition, ratings, retro and the chance to introduce him to a new target demo. One of them must have planted the seed into his head. I'm sure it was as simple as, "Hey, what happened to that suit you wore when you left the courthouse?"

Thank God the pressure is off me for another year, but I found out a little bit more to this story.
Matt Damon is the sexiest man alive according to a recent issue of People Magazine.
I know it is confusing, but the truth has just been revealed. The
Editor’s actually thought Matt was really a CIA walking killing
machine. They were proactive and chose to pick him rather than to be
in the sight of his high powered sniper rifle.
Inside sources have confirmed that these were the men rounding out the
top five. Coming in at number five was Gary Coleman (Different
Strokes), four went to Vincent Pastore (Soprano’s), Colin Mochrie
(Whose Line Is It Anyway?) came in at three and number two was Larry
The Cable Guy.

He explained how important it was to fight for the future. He was right. I am a SAG/AFTRA member, but not yet a WGA person. This is a fight worth fighting. There is no way to really know how much money a person will make from their art. However, there is a basic formula that I like to work with on any project.1. The purchase. When something is purchased I hope it involves a lot of money. That way all those weeks, days and months when I had no money can at least make some sense. 2. The ongoing money. The only way to soften the blow of the next possible down time is with a regular flow of money. That way the cycle is broken. The artist can do their art and maybe even make a living.3. The bonus.
