Staff hiring and training has been going on for the last few weeks and I personally know a few neighborhood teens who have gained their first entry into the working world with the reopening of this restaurant. I'm thrilled to see another dining option in Algiers. Speaking of dining...I had the pleasure of utilizing one of our locally owned businesses to cater an open house for me recently. Rusty Camus, the owner at The Bar B Q Place, prepared some delicious pulled pork, along with some very tasty cole slaw and potato salad. He was kind enough to allow me to pick up my order before the restaurant was even open and all of the staff were pleasant and helpful in loading up the car with all of my goodies.
