straight destroyed No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes with a score of 41-14, Monday night at the BCS Bowl, which took place at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Many predicted that the OSU Buckeyes would wipeout the Gators in last night’s game, and it seemed as if those predicitons would come true as the Buckeyes scored a touchdown in the first 16 seconds of the game. However, Ohio State with it’s Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith could not hold up to the amazing performance of the Gators’ Chris Leak and Tim Tebow. This is the Gators’ second national title, with their first being over Florida State in 1996. The University of Florida’s basketball team also won the national championship last spring by defeating UCLA in Indianapolis.

So the buzz is that Tyrese
is under investigation after a domestic incident that took place in his L.A. home, at 5 A.M. January 4. Word is that Tyrese got into an altercation with his pregnant girlfriend, and punched her in the stomach. He reportedly jumped in his car and fled, as paramedics were called to the scene… Not sure if this is true, but if it is that’s pretty messed up…

Mullally will have to find another day job… Speculation that her daytime talk-show will not be returning for a second season is true. Only midway through the first season, NBC Universal, the company that syndicates the show, has already halted production… Mullally’s show continued to lie at last place in ratings, trailing behind Oprah, Dr. Phil, and Rachel Ray’s new daytime talk show… WOW! I’ve seen the show a few times and I’m not too crazy about it… but I feel sorry for the chick… I mean if Tyra’s still on the air, who can’t have a talk show?

NAACP Announces Image Award Nominees 2007-01-10 02:47:35
Nominees for the 38th Annual NAACPImageAward
s were announced today in Beverly Hills. Big nominees included Beyonce and Mary J. Blige, who both scored 4 nominations. New network the CW received a total of 17 nominations, with it’s hit show Girlfriends scoring 6 nominations. And I also have to shout out my gal Ms. LeToya Luckett. She was nominated in the Oustanding New Artist category, along with Cherish, Corinne Bailey Rae, Lupe Fiasco, and Mario Vazquez.

RUMORS: Tyrese Altercation Exaggerated 2007-01-09 22:25:29
A few days ago I reported on the rumor that after an altercation with his pregnant girlfriend, R&B singer/actor Tyrese
Gibson punched her in the stomach and then fled his L.A. home. Well according to TMZ.com, the girl’s lawyer says that parts of the story were not true. Check this out:
The woman’s attorney tells TMZ, “Reports that Tyrese punched my client — his girlfriend — in the arm, thigh or anywhere else are false. It is true, Mr. Gibson and his girlfriend had been arguing. She became very emotional and distressed during the argument and called 911 in an attempt to get a mediator. Mr. Gibson, frustrated, left the home.

Fresh off of gaining several SAG nominations, the good news keeps on rolling for Dreamgirls as the soundtrack for the hit movie has reached number one on Billboard
’s Top 200 Albums chart. The Dreamgirls soundtrack is the first soundtrack from a motion picture to top the charts since 2002. However, this was a bad, bad week for music sales. Though it topped the charts, the Dreamgirls soundtrack only sold 66,355 units. It is the lowest sales for a number one album since Nielson SoundScan started keeping up with album sales in 1991. started off telling fans that she wrote

But then on a few talk-shows she admitted that she co-wrote the song with Ne-Yo. Well that’s not so true either…
Ne-Yo admitted in a recent Power 106 interview that he wrote the entire song and Beyonce only wrote a few harmonies. Again, Beyonce has exaggerated the facts… Co-writing does not equal coming up with a harmony… So to all you ladies who call “Irreplaceable” an anthen and talkin bout this and that, yo anthem was written by a MAN! "Stomp The Yard" Tops Weekend Box Office 2007-01-14 21:51:17
Despite mediocre ratings from critics, Stomp The Yard debuted at number one on this weekend’s box office, bringing in $22 million. The movie, which stars Brian White, Columbus Short, Megean Good, and Ne-Yo, knocked last week’s number one, Night at the Museum, down to number two. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake’s new movie umm how can I say this, FLOPPED! Alpha Dog, in which Bruce Willis and Sharon Stone starred alongside Timberlake, opened at No. 7 making only $6.1 million.
