l33t haX0rs caption tings.. (part 1)

Aiight, so these are old news… If you’ve shimmyed round the ‘net for a while you’ve probably come across a few of these. There was a thread over at RottenTomatoes Forums which cracked me up though, I saved a few of my favourites.. For those of you not who aren’t certified geeks (unlucky ), well nah.. forget it, you’ll figure it out Einstein. Internet.. Keyboard.. Action…. Just to make it clear, I do not have a cat fetish.. Matter of fact, when I’m in a room with one… MY EYES, MY EYES! They get so f*cked up, the worst time I was babysitting at this TOO-niceynicey-varicose-veined-stingy-fitness-freakshow-biatches house years ago and by the end my eyes were so bad that I thought my whole cornea was gonna peel off. I looked in the mirror the surface of them was wrinkled up worse that Mavis (?) from Dame-Ednas old show. F*ck, reminds me that pollen will start vexing me soon… ANYWAY. [no race ting!]

Yeahhhhh… I’m skipping shut-eye since we’re missioning it through Frances dull payages tomorrow. Jumping on “Le Shuttle” at 7am, so we’re leaving in a few hours. P-Unit will be delighted with me, but whatever.. Meeting Charles Harrison & co there, they’re taking to the skies. Probably wise, and definitely more pleasant, but we go every year and have the routine locked down. Plus when you’re taking 5 pairs of ski-boots, a few pairs of skis, snowblades, la la la.. F*ck checking all that in. I ain’t caring, I’ll be sleeping, hence the expected hatred. RAHHHHHHH! Maannn.. If it’s anything like last year, it’s gonna be off the chaaaain. Leave all this Corporate & Social Responsibility worthless rubbish behind for a week, escapism FTW. Loaded up the iPod, taking the laptop to ensure maximum photo/videography capacity.. A select few of last years photos are here. I’m really not sure which I enjoy more: get

I’ve been lounging around all day wondering what to do with myself. No mountainous emancipation.. No lunch time beers or vin chaud.. No fresh invigorating mountain air.. No breathtaking scenery.. No hot snowboard chicks.. No (female) french accents.. No amusing daily bar/nightclub altercations with french haters.. No SNOW! Nah, nothing but looming coursework deadlines, floundering relationships, roadworks, April showers (probably) etc.. Having said that, I loved watching the E double omnibus today! It’s nice to be back, but I’m just feeling like I want to do a ski season now.. Skiing is just pure liberation. I can’t think of anything like it. It’s as adrenaline fuelled or laid back as you want it to be.. It’s such a rush man. We were taking it to new levels this year too, officially getting wide-eyed exasperated expressions from those breaking on crests as we flew over and caught air! hahaha.. Absolutely love it. I’m on buying some twin-tips

Brap. Alright, woah.. My ears just don’t believe what they’ve heard today. So I’m at home this last week before Easter’s up, and I get a call from my housemate. We’d set up a joint bank account to deal with electricity bills and all that - seemed like the easiest thing to do. You’d think so. Our electricity bill came in some time ago; massive. £450 - for a quarter I think? Sounds like a lot to me… Anyway, we all dealt with it apart from one who despite being pestered about it seems to think it’s above him or some sh*t, I don’t know. It got to the stage where we had final warnings threatening visits from the baliffs.. Niiiice. Eventually he apparently got his act together and claimed to have paid in his part and called up the company and sorted out the bill so that was over with.. ‘Apparently’ being the operative word, as ever. Skip a month and we’re here… Baliffs already visited, thank god they couldn&rsqu

Robin Thicke

Yuuup. So last night was the Jazz Cafe! I love that place man.. I think that’s the fifth time I’ve been and ever time it goes OFF! Blatantly down to the intimacy of the venue and the crowd. It’s a range of crisply dressed young soul fans, blazered up black rhythm doctors and soul sistas, and the odd middle aged balding white fellow bopping awkwardly. It’s all good though, everyone’s there for the love of the music - there’s no attitude whatsoever, one of the only places I know that genuinely everyone has the same agenda of basically continually widening their smile and enjoying themselves. Robin Thicke was good, and pretty much exactly what I expected. I mean, he’s got voice, and some nice tunes, rocked the crowd interluding with typifying american smooth-talking. What I gotta say though, is that he’s a poor mans Justin Timberlake. He’s from the same mould, and arguably his voice is better, but I think it was just a first draft bef

ALRIGHT! Damn.. It’s been a while now. Took a bit of a hiatus while waiting for some fuss to die down tbh. My admissions in this thing been burning me in hot water. So what’s new people? Nice to be backing in the blogging game, though again this is me just finding another method of procrastination to distract myself from the burgeoning reality I’m facing right now! Yup, dissertation’s due in 10 days now and that’s just the tip of a titanic sized iceberg. Basically the last month or two has been the biggest binge of my life. Perfect timing to vere even further off the rails. I’m lost if I’m honest.. It’s looking dead set for a 2.2 knowing how underprepared I am for D-day, which leaves my feet firmly rooted in no-mans land in terms of employment the way I see it.. Fuck mediocrity. The idea of an office job is depressing enough, but a sh*t one? I’d rather die. I’ve told myself I’ll spend a year doing what I do, seeing where

Web 2.0 and the Business Implications of the Internet’s Evolution

Finally settled on a title but it’s LOOSE still! Hardly pins down the subject area.. How ‘social software’ is revolutionizing communication and information-sharing while shifting the balance of power between centralised institutions and the individual. I’ll publish it up here when I’m finished just because I can.. Not sure that’ll be worth much since it’ll just be me sweating out six thousand words in two days but who knows, it may turn out aiight! I just can’t wait for this all to be over.. Anyway.. a few topical news stories.. Don’t piss off an 11 y/yo sharpshooter!! Ralphel and Enrico feel Patricia’s wrath! Basically… Atheists on the Political Offensive Honourable naivety, sick of it! Richard Dawkins is a hero. China in Pictures I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry! The captions are jokes!

Blackberry 7130g review.. & Last.FM!

Yeppp.. So I got a new phone! About time. I’ve been dragging about this POS LG something or other for a year now.. Useless. Complete waste of circuitry. I mean, I had an iMate JAM spare but no-one could seem to unlock it and I wasn’t trusting these programs you pay £30 for to download… Forget that. So I was stuck with it. It doesn’t exist anymore though, I threw it against a wall and then stamped on it. Rest in pieces. I done did a deal again though.. Basically THIS. On T-Mobile, which is about the only mobile company I trust after various sagas with 3g and O2 (

What’s happening. Still grinding at the moment… ish. Exams on the 25th and the 31st, dissertation in the 6th. So that’s long.. Still, went to see the Harlem Globetrotters @ Wembley Arena today. Didn’t get much done yesterday either as I watched Chelsea cheaply defeat Man Utd. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Harlem Globetrotters. You know, I never really knew exactly what they were about. Just apocryphal tales of 7ft giants with basketballs as heads that could spin a ball on their index finger for 3 hours with one push…. They didn’t turn out to be like that. Okay, there were 3 players 6ft 9″ but it was quite pathetic really, like a pantomime. Fair enough I’m basically a child so some of the rock bottom gags amused me, there was hardly any basketball. When there was it was just like drill practice - that scissor move they do in rugby when people run past each other and switch the ball. All sorts of feints and gags, some were cool… But most I&rs
