4th day: New Mexico and Arizona 2008-03-21 13:30:19 Today we cross to 2 more states, kids report: MORE cranky every time they wake up, McDonald's starts tasting like paper to me. Husbands complain why we didn't pass Roswell like I did when I was driving to Florida, and remind him that we didn't took the other route cause that ads a few our on the trip, and since the fight we had we the movers on Monday, we pretty much lost that day to do the scenic route. It would it be fun stop in a UFO museum or something.Most of the I-10 in this area doesn't have major cities. just small towns.passing Juarez, radio say that they expecting SNOW in the area of Wilcox or Benson, cant remember, at first I was like we should stay or something, the kids never seen snow, then I was like you know is better to keep going since we all tired. 3rd day: Texas 2008-03-21 13:10:16 Today we pass Houston and San Antoni (just to name the major cities), Kids report, more and more cranky, husband report: tired (as all). First in the morning coffee for me and Diet Coke for him a big factor. Trying to catch as much miles as possible, and the only time in peace is when the kids are sleeping. Just for recommendation, sometimes is the best to catch good price in Hotels/Motels when you get those little Hotels books in gas stations and fast food places along the road. Is a hustle to try to find the Hotel but if you passenger pays attention, you might save a couple of dollars if you are under budget.Sleeping: in some place still in Texas
2nd Day:Alabama, Missouri and Louisiana 2008-03-21 13:02:30 Second day, and we crossing 3 states, same as yesterday, kids getting cranky (and is just the second day!). We notice that first we start to feel the cold (we left FL at 80 degrees), second the HWY 10 is not a very fun freeway to drive, when I came to Florida with the kids and my sister, we did it in a different route, was more fun passing some part of AZ and NM was interested, not to mention the part where you pass the Mississippi River.We end up crashing in Sulphur, LA

First day in the road: Florida 2008-03-21 12:51:24 So after sleeping in the floor last night today we hit the road, not before leaving my husbands car with an acquaintance, that way the moving Co. can pick it up and they can take it to Las Vegas. The day was cloudy and we are nervous, kids behaving as best as possible, we stop on the side of the freeway a couple of time (poop change), to bad we are under budget and with no time, otherwise we would stop in Orlando to go to Universal before we leave.Anyways we didn't make it out of Florida
today, don't remember the name of the town but we are around Tallahassee area.As soon we get in the room, the TV news channel says something about Tornado warnings for most of the night. Talking about the end of the world, as you can imagine I couldn't sleep at first.

Wrong Victim 2008-03-21 11:47:10 Stubborn as I am I did the search in the Internet looking for the place I use to take the Twig for the Physical and shots the Fathead need for her school. Finally found it by SNHD (Southern Nevada Health District). If you new in Las Vegas is the place to go for this matter. Shots are 25 dlls for the whole shots she/he receives in that moment and for a daycare physical (in this case) is 25.The place was empty (Thank God), unfortunate I forgot that the physicals are by appointment so I make her a Monday App. In the mean time I ask if the Boy is missing any shot, which he did. 2 and 2 in each arm, doesn't matter about what, what matters is the screaming kid. My poor kid. My concern is that the Fathead will see this. She keeps asking the nurse what she was doing to the Boy.

BuGz School Play 2008-03-21 11:36:04 So as soon she the Twig starts school is in a musical, to be honest I couldnt hear any of the songs, which by the way she complain that I was not paying attention. But the only reason I couldnt do it is cause The Boy move around so bad and I was trying to make him be quiet all the time. he is getting to strong for me to handle. Update! 2008-03-15 19:38:22 Hi everyone, sorry I havent been active writing, but like i Mention in the near past, I was in the process to move back to Las Vegas area, we are here now, and as soon I get my desk and not the carpet to type I will update you with all the things that happend in February, that includes the cross country, leaving the kids with my parents for a couple of weeks, finding a house, etc…. Update: The Chip Appearing Act 2008-02-06 18:15:39 Yes, the chip finally appear, the Fathead, very quite got close to my husband holding the chip in her hand, to be hinest since she is right now between talking clearly to not understand a word of what she says, we dont have no clue where she got it or she found it. I guess it will remain a mistery like many of the things our kids do.

The Missing Chip 2008-02-06 18:14:10 Lately the Fathead like any 3 year old is getting stuff that doesnt belong to her. One of the OFF limits area is my husband desk, where he keeps 4 Hard Rock Cafe Casino Chips…..one is gone, like alwasy she is getting the blame and is been interrogate. You ask her where is it and she only responds dont know and some other words we dont understand. 3 days later and the Chip still missing.I have to give her credit, that same night went to her dad and with sad voice says ’sorry daddy", he ask why?, and she anwsers back "the chip".

The Tooth Fairy Make a Mistake 2008-02-06 18:13:57 Like I always mention this past month I been clueless because of the prep for the moving. The Twig lost another tooth, so the teacher send the tooth inside an envelope. My husband told me to put 2 dlls in exchange of the tooth. So far, so good. So I get on my hand the dollar he gave me, and I grab the other one I had in my desk, now this second dollar came out of there room, I tought the Fathead took it, since she been taking stuff out of my husbands desk, dont think she understand the money concept, cause she take thing she thinks are goodies, like my husbands Casino chip or the Coca Cola bear ornament.Anyways, I do the change so I take the envelope. NO MORE LOCK DOWN! 2008-02-06 18:13:32 Thats what the Boy is screaming, no walker, no gate and be able to be around the girls room (carpet). He spend that time screaming from the baby gate for attention, asking to be taking out from there, and the only time he is happy is when he is allow to be exploring in the house. My concern is.Most of the house is tile, right now very cold, even in Florida.To much Hazzard, with the boxes of the moving and outlets expose.Dont have no idea what to do, he is driving me crazy.

Learning Mind 2008-02-06 18:08:43 Sorry if I havent been active lately, again, I am taking out my stress, and I do this by learning. I am not trying to show off the truth is that I am a self-learner when I want to, When I was younger I learn by myself a second language, this by dont be embarrace and practice with anyone one that is whiling. Thanks to that I landed decent jobs in my hometown, since is a very industrial city…..a second language is a requirement for a good job.The second thing I learn by myself is the use of a computer, my dad always said "don hit delete and always click save as often as you can". Wise words if you ask me, cause I lost a lot of file not doing the second thing. Milestone: Crawling 2008-02-06 18:07:49 Yes the Boy start crawling like a week or so, to be honest I thougt was weird cause the Fathead and the Twig went straigth to walking. Mine, Mine 2008-01-04 02:12:39 I guess we should it see it coming, you see.... since we start with the "are we leaving or are we staying" our life's have become chaotic, I mean....Suitcase with clothes, our stuff in boxes, no furniture. That is no normal life for the Kids, So I guess that the Fathead starting hitting the Twig and the Boy should not be a surprise, I don't think she mean no harm, she knows is bad cause as soon as she did it looks at me or dad. Hope this stage don't last for long or I will have soon a kid in the hospital with stitches.

Afternoon at Islands of Adventures 2007-12-27 23:25:17 Like Universal, totally great, very well plan, for some reason i felt that today my kids got in more ride that yesterday in Disney and we didn't even saw the whole place cause 3 kids and getting to here very late afternoon, again is worth planing a vacations to come back but for more days.

At Universal Studios in Orlando 2007-12-27 23:07:15 OMG so much fun, today was great and the kids enjoy it more, I don't know that it was cause it was Xmas but it was more fun to walk and relax, also help the fact that beside buying tickets we got also the Express Pass, which helps you cut in the line and just wait a few minutes or none. It cost some money but if you planing to visit Universal
it worth every penny that Express Pass, we definitely come back here. You have characters everywhere for pictures a lot of stuff to see besides the rides. Around 3 we start going to the other theme park "Island of Adventures" also from Universal but with rides.

For those who don't know where is this I recommend to Google, In resume is a small town on one side of the border with Baja, the city on the other side is call Mexicali (where I am originally from) and there we planing to meet my parents and brother and sisters (who still live there).My parents are going to keep the kids while my husband and I leave to Vegas to set everything up, ex. husband talk to bosses and find a house are the priority.You have also to understand that my parents haven't seen their grand kids since the Boy was born and we move out to Florida.So we meet in a spot waiting for them to cross the border, as soon they arrive there were hugs, smiles, crying from my

the best deal in Hotels are in I am no kidding, I have use the since years, other website are short compare to this one, best deals and prices. Just check it out.Also if you have travel to Vegas you know that weekends is the worst time to stay ($), and the best price is between Sunday to Thursday. If you don't mind the distance you can stay in Primm, Valley, is a drive but is around 26 dlls the night to 40.In this case we book the Whiskey Pete's for nights and after that we are going to move to town until the weekend, after that move again to Primm until we can find a house (FAST). Again is a pain moving between Hotels and distance but you can save some buck.

First Day in Pre-School 2008-03-25 18:52:59 I have 3 kids, the Fathead is my second kid going to school that pretty much turns her back, ignores me and get inside the classroom without hesitate. I dont know if I feel relief or sad that my kids dont cry or get fuzzy about their new sitution and I am the one getting emotional.After I pcik her up was more like "teacher, teacher" she didnt want to leave.And later was even worst when I took her to get a physical for the school Got 3 shots, 2 and 1 on the arm, it was like "my bubus, my bubus" all afternoon, poor thing.
