by our catamaran. It lies just beyond Coral Island (Koh Larn) and is owned by the Royal Thai Navy thus is not inhabited and special permission is required to use the island. The Royal Cliff Beach Resort has permission from the navy to use this island for its incentive groups.
Since the island is uninhabited there is no electricity, running water, or toilet facilities on the island. All these facilities must be brought in for each function by Royal Cliff Beach Resort. An advanced beach cleaning party is send out before each outing to the island.

has almost become accustomed to winning Awards of Excellence for its restaurants, especially from the prestigious Wine Spectator magazine of New York. These awards are the results of public acclaim, from people who have eaten there.
Royal Cliff Beach Resort MD Panga Vathanakul is rightfully proud of her team’s achievements.
The Grill Room and Wine Cellar was the first of its restaurants to win the Wine Spectator Award in 2003, and has since then won the award each year, through to 2007. Five consecutive awards for one restaurant is almost unheard of.
The resort’s Rossini restaurant also won the award in 2004 and consecutively thereafter through to this year 2007. This feat was also seen with the resort’s Chrysanthemum Palace restaurant winning an award in 2006 and again this year.

on a 3,000-plus audience at the Mark Victor Hansen Live Conference held recently at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH), a state-of-the-art convention facility of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort.
The conference, which was aimed at reshaping personal vision of possibility, personality development and entrepreneurial excellence, was organised by Skyquestcom based in China. As many as 3,200 professionals from various walks of life in China attended the one-day conference. The largest gathering of the sort in the recent history of PEACH was led by the company’s Managing Director Mr. Raymond Tan and the Group Leader Ms. Na Na Ooi.

Commart Thailand ’07 – Thailand’s largest exhibition of IT products – drew to a close on Sunday (9 Sept.) at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort’s world-class convention centre Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH).

PEACH Opens New Coffee Shop 2007-09-01 07:35:33 As part of an ongoing major expansion project, the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) opened its Coffee
Shop for business on 1 September.
The new facility, seating up to 280 people and offering mesmerising views of the Gulf of Siam, served a wide range of delectable dishes to the many visitors to the recent ICI Paints (India) and Commart Pattaya ‘07 events.
The convention centre is also now equipped with a new kitchen. Situated in the middle of the construction work, the kitchen is connected to the existing facility by a temporary tunnel and was used for the first time at the end of August to prepare lunches and a sumptuous banquet for 1,200 delegates attending the Bangkok Life Annual Conference and Awards’ Ceremony.
The expansion project, which is scheduled to complete by the end of March 2008, will facilitate larger scale events that have either out-grown the existing facility or not considered Pattaya because of space constraints.

Wine Club, Asia’s leading wine club, hosted another exciting event – Wolf Blass Winemaker’s Gala Dinner
– featuring a selection of fabulous wines from Wolf Blass Wines of Australia recently at the Grand Ballroom, Royal Cliff Grand & Spa.
The event showcased a total of six Wolf Blass wines and a seven-course gourmet menu masterfully crafted by the culinary experts of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort. The gala dinner was co-sponsored by Canpac Beverages Ltd.
Mr. George Samios, Wine Ambassador for Foster’s Wine Estates, one of Australia’s largest wine companies, and Mr. Jake Jacob, the company’s General Manager, were the Guest Speakers. The elegantly decorated Grand Ballroom welcomed more than 150 Wine Club members and guests.

CIS Tourism Officials Inspect Royal Cliff Beach Resort 2007-06-30 07:47:15 A high-level delegation of tourism officials from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) recently inspected the award-winning RoyalCliffBeachResort
as part of their business trip.
The CIS delegates included Uzintour LLC Tourism
Specialist Mr. Otabek Safaev, Tashkent State University of Economics Teachers Mr. Kamol Karimov and Mr. Sobirjon Ruziyev (from the Republic of Uzbekistan), Charoban Entertainment Center Manager Mr. Yertay Altayev, Eurasian Center of Education Specialist Ms. Aliya Abilova and Tourism Industry Committee Expert Mr. Sergey Chsherbak (from the Republic of Kazakhstan), and Tajikistan Hotel Accommodation and Service Division Manager Mr. J Mamadzhonov and Intourist-Tajikistan Tourism and International Relations Division Specialist Mr. S. Sufaev (from the Republic of Tajikistan).
Led by the Resort’s Guest Relations Officer Ms. Elena Kosenko, the tourism officials inspected some of the rooms/suites, restaurants and various other facilities of the Resort.

Royal Cliff Beach Resort Achieves ISO 9001:2000 Re-accreditation 2007-06-24 22:58:47 The multi award-winning RoyalCliffBeachResort
recently achieved ISO 9001:2000 re-accreditation for its quality management system from TÜV NORD CERT GmbH of Germany.
The re-accreditation was awarded in recognition of the Resort’s management system in such areas as Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping Services and Meeting & Conference Services. Earlier, TÜV NORD conducted an extensive audit of the services and facilities at the Resort and found the ISO 9001:2000 requirements to be fulfilled.
The Royal Cliff Beach Resort is the first convention hotel in Thailand to achieve both ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 accreditations. It is also the first Resort Hotel in Asia to be inducted into the Travel Hall of Fame by TTG Asia magazine in 2006.

Winemaker’s Gala Dinner
- at the Grand Ballroom, Royal Cliff Grand & Spa, on Wednesday, 13 June 2007.
The event showcased a total of SIX Moondah Brook and Brookland Valley Estate wines made by Hardy Wine Company, the Australian arm of the world’s largest wine group – Constellation Wines.
The gala dinner, which featured a six-course gourmet menu masterfully crafted by the Royal Cliff Beach Resort’s culinary experts, was co-sponsored by Ambrose Wine Ltd.
The wines were presented by Hardy Wine Company Business Development Manager Mr. James Wilson. The elegantly decorated Grand Ballroom welcomed more than 200 Wine Club members and guests.
