Shopping with the heart 2007-04-13 02:29:42 Remember the rules? To go shopping for the cruise ball, butt NOT post the ball dress you ended up with for the cruise ball the 14th! (See the post below this)
A good thing when shopping is to have some one with you that you trust when it comes to taste in clothes and what’s fitting you - and is honest enough to tell you the truth about the clothes you try on!
So I take Mr Lifecruiser with me and he is darn good at it!
When it comes to shopping I’m always shopping with my heart. If my heart isn’t up to it - I’ll go home instead of buying something I’ll regret afterwards.
It’s all about the attitude - as in every thing else - if you make it fun, it IS fun!
When I go shopping, I’m almost never buying something in the most wellknown Swedish store H&M. It’s not by choice of me, it’s just that they never seem to have clothes I want to buy! Very often they feel a bit simple to me if I should be honest, which I always am.

Welcome to the cyber cruise ball 2007-04-14 19:47:39

Welcome
to Lifecruisers cruise ball
The only rule for this ball is to HAVE FUN :-)
Tonight the Dom Perignons will flood! Let’s make a toast for how successful the cyber cruise has been so far, here let me fill up your glasses!
Cheers Dear Cruisers!
Oh, my, what elegant dresses you all got here tonight! I can’t believe how beautiful you all are!
I had tough decisions to make about mine, butt finally I went with this one:
It will be perfect when I get warm from all the cheering and dancing!
Let’s start the music and the dancing and don’t forget that dancing is an excellent diet method! You’re so occupied making yourself tired with dancing that you got no time to eat and you’re burning lots and lots of fat while doing it - and it’s sooo FUN!
Let’s shake it cruisers :-)
We’ve hired a magician for the ball, butt he is kind of unpredictable. Be ware of that he might make your clothes drop

They say that the nice weather will come to an end now, so I’ll keep dreaming about the summer, so we’ve ordered the tickets for the ferry to Gotland and Fårö (island outside Swedens east coast) where we gonna spend all July as usual as well as booked our beds at the farm.
Our absolute favorite place on earth! A summer paradise! The best sandy beaches!
Actually, money from the sold stuff I showed you in earlier TIT’s, paid for the ferry, nice huh? We only have 2 minor things left from that earlier sales round, the rest is sold!
I’ve been to the doctor and got my medicine for the Fibromyalgia and reminded them about that I want a copy of my medical journals which they seemed to have “forgot”. Hm…
Another, tasty tackle we’ve had is to get rid off all the food we’ve had in the freezer before summer, so we can defrost it while we’re at Fårö on vacation in July.
Already now (longing for the summer obvi

Agricultural grandfathers 2007-04-22 12:03:23

Both Mr Lifecruiser and I have some agricultural bloodlines, maybe that’s why we feel so natural with each other and in the nature? *lol*
My bloodlines is a bit more difficult to track than Mr Lifecruisers, so I choose to tell you about his for the moment.
Mr Lifecruisers grandfathers grandfather, Alexander Müller, born at Wellershof in Ober-Pfalz in 1828 (d 1906), once upon a time came here from Leipzig, Germany, to work as a agricultural chemist, helping the Swedish farmers to learn more about agriculture and played a roll in the Swedish agricultural development.
He was a doctor of Philosophy in Leipzig and later became a teacher at the technical and agricultural school in Chemnitz and manager for the agricultural experimental station there.
He married Clara Theresia Kurtzvelly (Germany) and they got their first son in 1855, Konrad Alexander Müller-Kurzvelly, which later were living in a villa in Berlin and became a known painter of landscape scen Read more:Agricultural
Technorati Favorites Exchange 2007-04-23 11:58:39 Most of us want to promote our sites as much as possible and one way is by register at Technorati
.com, or claim your blog as they call it.
I found a post on Tricias site about Technorati Favorites exchange that I thought was interesting, so I was thinking: why don’t we, the cruisers at least, but every one else is welcome too, mark each other as Technorati Favorites, to support each other?
So, I’ve added active A-Team Cruisers to my Technorati Favorites to begin with and will continue with others.
Technorati rank sites by popularity and the more links you have to your site the lower your rank drops. The lower your rank gets, the closer you are to their top 100 bloggers list.
Of course getting on that list isn’t easy, but getting on the top favorited sites is possible. You are more likely to receive visitors from Technorati if you are listed in the Top 100 most favorited list.
When you find a site that’s listed on Technorati that you really like you can mark it as Read more:Exchange
Comment Features Creatures 2007-04-26 14:40:07 So finally I got the time to install some new Wordpress Plugins that I talked about ages ago! I started with the Comment
s, since I want you to ♥ love to Comment here :-)
1) Brians threaded comments which gives YOU the option of replying to somebody elses comment on my blog!
This also means that my reply on your comments will be more properly done with timestamps and not within your comment as earlier. Though I must mention that I don’t have the same amount of time to answer ALL of your comments as earlier…
Just click on the “Reply to this Ship ahoy”-link in the right corner of the comment and fill out the commment box in the end as usual.
I’m looking forward to se your conversations! Have fun :-)
2) The Email Responder. I got the tip about it from Tricia. Now when I answer one of your comments, I also can decide to email you the answer too. Very nice option!
(It does not quite work together with the threaded comments plugin, so if I decide to make

Why is it that every time that I think that we’re going to get ready with the cleaning of the kitchen cupboards, something else comes in between? Yes, you guessed right, that is one tackle
that didn’t get done this time. Butt it will until next Tuesday. At least I think so…. *lol*
The most heavy tackles this week had been the shopping for my shoes. Phew! We’ve been out seeing all shoes in the whole town, so it seems like at least! I finally found a pair that’s possible to go with the golden dress, but maybe not my optimal choice.
They could have been a bit more narrow too, so I hope that they won’t stretch too much so they get too big! The brand is Gabor - seems to be from Germany. They’re very comfortable, built up in the sole on the inside and all to please my feet ;-)
I will continue to look out for shoes for a while I suspect. All the summer shoes hasn’t got out in the stores yet and I want to see them too!

Best Lifecruiser Diarist Prize 2007 2007-04-30 23:44:12
I’ve decided a while ago to spread some more love and hand out one more prize to an A-Team Cruiser, but haven’t got the time to do it until now.
The Best Diarist during our cyber cruise is:
……Melli at Insanity Prevails!
Congratulations x millions!!!
Don’t forget to email me your real post address so I can send you the secret prize!
Am I making you curious now or what? *giggles*
The motivations of the jury is:

Arrivederci A-Team Cruisers 2007-04-30 04:59:07 Cruisers
, I’m doing some spring cleaning so we have some changes to the A-Team Cruisers List.

Since they have been such a fun A-Swab Team Cruisers to have with us on the cruise so far, I’ve decided to promote them to A-Team Cruisers.

Removed A-Team Cruisers
Since the rules is that the A-Team list should consist mostly of active A-Team Cruisers - if there is no special reason for accepting someone anyway - I had to move some of them to the ordinary A-Swab Team Deckroll instead.
If you’re one of those below: don’t despair - you’re always welcome b

We’ve all heard all the advices to eat more dark chocolate, it is appearently very healthy for us. Me too have been listening to those advices and I have tried to eat some dark chocolate / day.
You have to watch out though - there is almost aways very high amount of calories hidden in there - not to mention the pimples I get from it ;-)
Sometimes nature brings very bad things for some….
Did you know that chocolate is poisoning for dogs?
Even for cats actually but they are not likely to eat enough to become poisoned. Many other animals are sensitive to it too, but not as much as dogs and cats.
It’s the substance theobromine they can’t handle. The darker the chocolate is the more Theobromine it contains.
More than 20 milligram theobromine / kilogram body weight can cause poisining of the dog.
Example: A dog who’s weight is 10 kilogram (22 lbs) can be poisoned of 20-40 gram dark chocolate without getting serious poisioning symp Read more:Passion

Tuesday was my first day for ages that I didn’t have any post up.
I experienced a kind of red light
in my mind. In double meaning. Total post block in my mind and totally feeling with my heart.
A lot of Love in the air :-) As usual you might add, butt this was special!

[ANTHOCARIS CARDAMINES, Pieridae]
Swedish: Aurorafjäril
From Europe. This one was captured at the island Fårö outside Swedens east coast in May another year. Width of wing 4cm. The male has bright orange spots on the front wings.
One of the seasons earliest hatched butterflies.
I’ve never seen it here in Stockholm, but of course there isn’t that much spieces in the city area…
If you like butterflies, read Lifecruisers post about:
To make butterfly love.
Also take a look at:

European Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris)
Swedish: Ekorre
This one captured in Stockholm where we lives (right outside our apartment building), the capital of Sweden. Length up to 24-30 cm except for the tail that is 17-20 cm. Weight 300-390 g.
Sad thing is: we saw a squirrel nearby here the other day that had been run over by a car and I instantly said to Mr L: Oh, no, I do hope it wasn’t our squirrel tha

This represent my childhood. I practically lived with horses. This type of close up horse eyes was what I was looking into every day. Horses have the most fantastic eyes.
They were my best buddies. I can still feel the smell of the horse just by looking at this photo and for me, that’s like a heavenly parfume!!!
I spent all my spare time in the stable, which shows in my back nowadays… No one had told me about the right way to clean the stable or to carry hay bales and with my “no muscles-body” and growing heavily at the same time, the result could only be one: worned out.
I tried to hang on to this favorite interest for as long as I could even as a grown up. I even invested in a certain gel-saddle-pad, but to put on top of the saddle to ease the bounces for my poor back. It was containing the same kind of gel they use in the catapult in Royal Air Force’s I wa Read more:Photo

No, it’s not Mr Lifecruiser I’m talking about when I say “Between my 2 TITS”…. *giggles* I’m just amazed that this week I actually did the tackles I should AND managed to sneak in some other activities between the two last TITS!
…and some more tackles - that’s equally amazing, no matter how hard I work on this managing of tackles, I always keep adding things to do to the list…
We’ll take the fun part first, right? *lol*
I found another pair of shoes for the wedding! These ones are much better than the others.
These one has not as high heels as the other ones, which is a plus for my back and they fit the colors of the dress better too! And were cheaper…
Another plus was that the shop-worker also is a pedicurer with a lot of knowledge of feet, so when we begin to talk about putting something in the shoe to support the pads because of my crampings, she gave me a name for a good
Swedish HighTower Visitour 2007-05-07 13:35:30
Yesterday was a day with very nice spring weather here in Stockholm, so we decided to spend the day out and went to pick up my oldest sister Susan to come along with us.
We had already decided to go to a place we had not been to in years and let it be a surprise for her as she loves surprises :-)
Meet Kaknästornet in DjurgÃ¥rden (national city park in Stockholm) with it’s 155 meter/508 ft (170 with the mast counted in) and 34 floors - one of Scandinavia’s and Northern Europes tallest buildings where we went yesterday.
The name origins from Kaknäs, which was an ancient village name from the Iron Age, if not even earlier, which probably were located at this spot where Kaknästornet stands today. There is a preserved field with village graves a bit up in the woods at Kaknäsvägen (the Kaknäs road).
The tower is created by the architects Hans Borgström and Bengt Lindroos in Neo brutalism style. I guess it was in the time, as the construction start was in 1963 and compl Read more:Swedish

…and I even missed the appointment with my Doctor today!!! That make me very very angry at myself. I even had a note attached to my computer and still missed it obviously. ##%¤&/&/&/.
This visit was because that medicine I got for the Fibromyalgia, does not work. Even made me worse.
My Doc. is very difficult to get an appointment with, I can’t even phone him until next Monday to book a new appointment. Still, I’m glad if I get one, because the other doctor I had was terrible, so I gladly wait for this new one….
So, this day went by very fast. Some heavy grocery shopping, then cooking dinner and now we have our Swedish cinnamon buns in the oven, smelling really good!!!
