Have you ever though of speaking with your hands? Fingerspelling 2007-11-09 11:18:21 Can you read? Can you speak? I am not sure how???
An UntoldCityLife.com’s City Culture by Xiao Loong Zi
First of all, let me great you with my hands
That’s “Helo”, fingerspelling in hand language :).
I am not sure what making me into studying hand language today? Perhaps because one day I could use it for simple conversation with my “special” friends? So regretfully, I have not made friends with any of them yet in my life. In fact, I always see them in group especially in the art centers, bookshops, and sometimes the gym in KL. Their “silent” conversations always disrupted me from focusing on my stuff but instead on their gestures, body languages and hand movements.
Let’s study the “alphabets” here :). You need to know all following “alphabets” to do fingerspelling! Fingerspelling is useful in spelling your name or places to people
If you know hand language very well. Be my friends :). Leave me Read more:though
An Amazing Thailand Trip – Part 2 2007-11-09 09:59:45 Article written by AverageJoe
I was staying in Dusit Resort, Pattaya City. It’s rated as 5-star hotel but too bad, no time to enjoy the facilities in the hotel. I wanted to try Devarana Spa from Dusit but it’s way above my budget. Full package starts from THB3000.
Since I’m too stingy to fork out this amount of money, I tried hand, foot, body and shoulder massage outside the hotel for just THB700 which lasted for 2.5 hours. Not a bad deal eh? It’s called Let’s Relax, a very decent place and nice ambience as well.

Teow Chew Porridge at Lorong 17, Geyland of Singapore 2007-11-08 10:10:10 Uniquely Singapore
! What can you do in Geyland?
An UntoldCityLife.com’s Taste Bud Review by Xiao Loong Zi
Overall taste bud: 3 stars (It costs me about $7/$8 for this meal)
What can you do in Geyland? Mmmmm, the very first thing in your mind must be “sex”, “sex” and “sex”!. Many Singaporeans and tourists visit Geyland not for the “kinky stuff” but for the foods!. Few years back in KL, a Teow Chew friend of mine brought me to a Teow Chew Porridge
dinner nearby Times Square KL (opposite the Pudu Jail), since then I started enjoying eating Teow Chew Porridge. After the quest of finding “breast balls” in Geyland, I went to Lorong 17 for Teow Chew porridge. (The shop is a corner shop at the end of Lorong 17). I must tell you that there were more 30 - 50 dishes at that time in the shop! (see the amazing dishes below)

The Differences Between Men and Women 2007-11-08 01:12:37 A stupid Joke! The differences between Men and Women
An UntoldCityLife.com’s Stupid Stuff by Xiao Loong Zi
This is a joke copied from an email!
Relationships
When a relationship ends, a woman will cry and pour her heart out to her girlfriends, and she will write a poem titled “All Men Are Idiots”. Then she will get on with her life.
A man has a little more trouble letting go. Six months after the break-up, at 3:00 a.m. on a Saturday night, he will call and say, “I just wanted to let you know you ruined my life, and I’ll never forgive you, and I hate you, and you’re a total floozy. But I want you to know that there’s always a chance for us”. This is known as the “I Hate You / I Love You” drunken phone call, that 99% of all men have made at least once. There are community colleges that offer courses to help men get over this need; alas, these classes rarely prove effective.
Maturity
Women mature much faster than men. Most
The Gods of Fortune (Chai Shen Ye) Temple in Singapore 2007-11-06 08:45:03 Uniquely Singapore
! This is a place that you must visit if you are in Singapore! You can’t find it in Malaysia!
An UntoldCityLife.com’s Travel & Places by Xiao Loong Zi
If you are not a local, you might not have heard of the ONLY “Gods of FortuneTemple
” in Singapore! Why? Because this temple is located far away from the city, in a town called Sembawang. It is actually near to Senoko Loop or the famous Senoko Power Station. For Johorian of Malaysia, you just need to cross the sea to Woodland of Singapore, and then take a taxi or bus from Woodland to Sembawang or Senoko. Most of the local taxi and bus drivers in that area are aware the presence of such temple.
See, it’s actually very near to Malaysia!
How I know it? (UntoldCityLife.com must share it with you)
One day while working on my client site in Senoko, I heard a gossip. One of the colleagues of my client won a “lottery” or “4D” as a result that he visited and praye

! You must try it in Singapore as you can’t find it in Malaysia
An UntoldCityLife.com’s Taste Bud Review by Xiao Loong Zi
Overall taste bud: 3.5 stars (The fish soup usually costs around $4/$5/$6 depending on your choice)
This is not the first time that I tried the Sliced Fish Soup here in Singapore. In fact, Sliced Fish Soup is always my first choice in Singapore’s food courts. Why? Personally, I like it a lot. And, you hardly see any hawker selling it in Malaysia. So to me, this is truly
unique in Singapore. (Tell me if you know where to find it in Malaysia).
About Sliced Fish Soup in Singapore?
The word Sliced Fish Soup is very much self-explanatory! It is a bowl of special recipe soup with sliced fish as the main ingredient with it. The sliced fish can be fried or non-fried as you can choose from. You also must tell what flavor of soup you would like to have. I can’t remember all the choices there, in my case, I ordered a “Yin Read more:Tasty
An amazing Thailand Trip – Part 1 2007-11-04 08:44:38 Article written by AverageJoe
I’m back. It was indeed the most tiring travel this year. I have been to Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand
(3rd time this year) and this is the worst trip ever. I have been working for straight 36 hours this time.
This is my look after 36 hours staying awake.
I reached Pattaya at 4 something and headed straight for early dinner due to bad lunch provided by MAS on the plane. They had replaced the meal with only sandwiches, an apple and Cadbury’s bytes. How pathetic.
This is what we had.
Tom Yam Goong
Pork Omelet Rice
Sweet and Sour Fish
I ordered Pad Thai
It was indeed a nice meal. It’s easy to find a nice food in Thailand. Everything is so delicious, or a-loi in Thai language.
After our meal, we walked around the street of Pattaya for sight seeing.

What a lazy Saturday morning! Where would you go for a simple breakfast? I think I am getting sophisticated on foods nowadays. So going to Tai Thong for a brunch is something unusual in my life. This “unlucky” friend in PJ was called to company me to review Tai Thong’s dim sum and foods.

Feeling Good… 2007-12-07 21:05:45 Article written by AverageJoe
I have so much to talk but never seem to have enough time to do so. Let’s start with this.
I was having lunch with the client’s senior manager and he was saying no one can understand the nature of our work. Timeline is crazy and you don’t follow 8 to 5pm office routine. There are times you have to stay up whole night to get the things done. I have to agree with him although I think there are worse jobs in the world. I need to compare to the worst to make me feel better.
I had been really busy for the past one month and I’m glad, it’s officially OVER. Not that I have resigned from my company but I have roll-off from my current project. It’s sad to leave because I have grown pretty close to my colleagues in this project.
We were supposed to have dinner last night but something came up last minute and I asked them to go ahead first. C sms-ed saying there were already there and asking whether I can make it? I didn’t re Read more:Feeling
